Your relationship with Camila had started out as a strange one. You were clearly bound to be friends from the moment you met when you joined the RIverdale cast for Season 2. The idea of joining a cast that had already bonded terrified you but she had welcomed you with open arms and always spent her spare time with you.

At first you had thought she was just one of those extra friendly people, her and Lili always mentioned how they got on so well from the beginning, but your friendship wasn't really like that. At least not in your eyes.

That may have been because you had very quickly developed feelings for the girl. Your relationship had quickly become a flirtatious one, only fuelling your feelings. But you were sure that for her it was only ever going to be a friendship - flirting with one another was only a competition of who could be the bigger flirt. You were convinced she would never feel the same as you did.

You were walking across the car park to the set for your first filming, the costume you were wearing already felt like home and the friends you were with already felt like family. You were all joking together when you were distracted by a distant wolf whistle.

Looking up, you noticed Camila standing in the direction you were walking towards. Once she noticed you were looking again she wolf whistled again and you could just about see her wiggling her eyebrows with a cheeky grin.

You looked behind you, slightly confused, "Who's she-?" Madeleine laughed and hung her arm around your shoulders and Lili smirked. "What?"

"You just got cat-called by Cami, congrats." Lili squeezed you lightly, “She means well. It must be her horny teen way of flirting, I think.”

"Who... with me?" The two nodded, laughing. "Huh?" You glanced at Camila again who was still looking at you but obviously attempting to pretend not to.

Lili looked between the two of you and let out a small gasp, "Are you guys dating?"

"What? No!" You shook your head. You'd only known each other just under a month, not that that had stopped you falling half in love with the girl.

"Well, I'm calling it. It's happening." She shrugged as if you no longer had a say in the matter any longer, it was fate. You just shook your head and rolled your eyes before heading on set.

It had been three weeks since you had started filming with the cast of Riverdale and you were glad to say that your character hadn't been murdered off just yet, hopefully insinuating that they liked you.

You had really settled in at this point, having to spend hours in makeup helped forge your friendships with the crew and spending even longer with your fellow actors behind the scenes meant you were as close as could be. It was strange how quickly you could make friends when you were together 24/7 in their highs and lows.

Right now was one of your lows.

You were in makeup, it was 4:20 in the morning and you wouldn't exactly say you were elated to be there. Michelle, the woman who worked on your makeup, had made your life as cheerful as it could be at such an early hour. Even so, when you had to look in the wall mirror in front of your chair, you'd immediately noticed the bed hair and dark circles under your eyes. Michelle had her work cut out for her today.

And talking about Michelle, she had disappeared. She had told you where she was going but you were definitely not concentrating. So you were kind of surprised that when you heard someone come up behind you, it wasn't Michelle but Camila standing there.

"Looking hot Y/N." You looked at Camila in time to see her wink at you, already in full make-up and her cheerleading costume. Not for the first time since meeting her, you felt the butterflies in your stomach but shook them off and jokingly rolled your eyes.

"Right back at you Mendes." You attempt to wink back but since you were still half asleep you failed miserably, causing the other girl to throw her head back and let out a loud laugh.

She came up behind you and wrapped her arms around your shoulders so you were both looking at each other in the mirror. "You know, I think you're cute... so I mean this in the most loving, supportive way but- you actually look slightly like death. You sleep okay?"

"Mhmm," You nodded, not wanting to delve into a deep discussion about your sleeping issues. It did, however, make your heart skip a beat to see Camila look genuinely concerned for you, but before she had the chance to push further you moved the conversation on, "I mean, obviously I would have slept better if you were by my side."

The corners of her mouth twitched upwards as she shook her head and softly said "You're welcome to join me any time". She stood there for a moment, just looking at you before taking a deep breath and unwrapping her arms from you and straightening up, "I'll see you on set Y/N."

"Yep, see you." You gave a small wave but was quickly distracted by Michelle reappearing out of the storage cupboard. And so began the torturous session of hair being styled, lips being painted and eyelashes being curled (it was never ending).

Moments like these were some of your favourites. You had reached the end of filming for the second season and so most of the cast were hanging out at Madeleine and Lili's as an end of season party. You had bought in a load of pizzas and KJ had brought alcohol. A lot of alcohol. You all took this as an opportunity to chill out, gossip and just let your hair down.

It didn't take anyone long to get way too drunk, everyone apart from Camila and Lili who seemed to be making sure no one set the apartment (or themselves) on fire.

"Camila." You smiled as you fell down next to her on the sofa, "You look very sober."

She smiled and looked at you, and if you were sober you would definitely have managed to notice the heart eyes she had when looking at you. Drunk you just thought you were hallucinating. "And you are very drunk. Come on, I'm taking you to a bed." She stood up and helped you up as well, holding you close to her to keep you steady.

"At least take me on a date first." You laughed, swaying dangerously close to her lips.

She raised an eyebrow and smirked slightly, "Mhmm, maybe tomorrow."

You nodded, seemed a fair enough deal, "I'm holding you to that."

"I'm not so sure you'll remember." She opened the door to Madeleine's room (Madeleine was already passed out on another sofa) and placed you on the bed, "Wait here, I'll get you some water." Camila walked out and you let yourself fall back on the bed and closed your eyes. In no time at all, Camila was back with a plastic cup of cold water. She helped you sit up and drink some before relaxing slightly, her protective side showing ever so slightly.

You glanced at your water and then to the girl sitting next to you before smiling a very drunk smile, "Okay, okay. Cam, what's your opinion on water?" She took one look at you and shook her head, laughing.

"Oh god, this isn't your attempt at drunk flirting, is it?"

Nearly tipping your glass of water, you tried rolling your eyes before putting your hand on her knee, "Just answer the question, dumbass."

She cleared her throat and licked her lips, looking down at your hand before answering, "Alright, I, uh, I like water. It's good. Why?"

"Because, that means you like 80% of me."

Her face broke out in a smile and she kissed your temple (although that may have been something you also hallucinated in a drunken haze) "Oh babe, I like 100% of you." She moved some hair out of your face and took the glass of water away, putting it on the bedside table. "Come on, let's get you into bed." She stood you up again and begun to unbutton your trousers.

'Woah, woah, woah. Stranger danger." You mumbled, squirming away.

"Y/N? I'm not trying anything, I'm just-"

"Nope."

"You'll be uncomfortable sleeping in your jeans, I'm just-"

"Away!"

"You are such a pain, get in bed." Giving in, Camila forced you under the duvet and was about to leave when you pulled her in next to you.

"Good night Cam." You mumbled, wrapping your arms around her. She was about to protest when she looked at you and suddenly couldn't think of anywhere else she would rather be.

It had been a few months since you had seen your friends and cast members. You had been completely absorbed with your latest project working on Supergirl and hadn't managed to see anyone. That was until you started the press run for Riverdale. AKA days of interviews, comic con panels, photoshoots. Doing all this only reminded you of how much you were in love with Camila. You were hardly able to look away from her in any interview.

It took until the very end of your press tour to decide to confess. You were tired, in love, and ever so slightly drunk when you knocked on her hotel door.

Camila opened the door and looked suitably surprised to see you. She opened her mouth to say something but you interrupted her. "I've just realised something." You stared at her, taking everything about her in. This made you pause long enough that she spoke up.

"It's 2am, you're either drunk or you've finally realised that you're completely and totally in love with me." She smirked slightly but you didn’t miss the slight way her eyes dulled. You grinned and stepped (swayed) closer to her.

"Yeah."

Rolling her eyes, she gave you a fond look and pulled you into her room, closing the door behind you. "Right, I'll get you some water. Come on, I-"

"What? Why would I need water for- oh, no. I'm... It's not the drunk option. Although I did have a bit of liquid courage before with the guys at the bar to get me to-" You stopped yourself from rambling and shook your head. "I love you Camila."

Her hands became still as she looked at you, her mouth hanging open slightly in shock and her eyebrows raised. She blinked a couple of times before she cleared her throat and forced a smile. "You're drunk, kind of reminds me of the end of season party." She shook her head, "You don't mean that. Or you won't in the morning." She bowed her head, distracting herself by fixing you up a glass of water, making it look like a much harder job than it really was.

You frowned at her reaction, not quite expecting that from her. You didn't truly know what it meant but you stepped forwards, taking the glass out of her hands and turning the tap off. Putting both hands under her chin, you softly pushed her chin up so she was looking at you.

"Camila, it has taken me way too long to say this.. but, I love you. And that really isn't alcohol talking." Softly but surely you placed your lips on hers, finally doing what you should have done months ago.

Camila pulled away and smiled, keeping her arms around you and your body close to hers, "Y/N? I love you too."

I think Naru is behind enough now that she won't really be catching up in her poll in the @woltourney so I wanna use my last little 'propaganda post' to just say thank you so much to everyone who voted for her and and this was just really fun all around.

It was a blast learning about others OC's and getting to know them, I feel like I made some really cool new friends through this process and I've enjoyed getting to toss asks at them. So I'm gonna toss a few mentions ...

@boileddogchicken I really loved getting to know br'sh during this tournament and not only is br'sh super cute and cool, brsh's mun is super sweet and incredibly funny and a delight to have on the timeline

@lookbluesoup im so glad I found your blog, I believe I wasn't following you prior to the tournament and the past few weeks I've enjoyed learning about your OCs and getting to send u asks !! You're a real delight to see on the timeline

@trans-estinien we've been moots a while but it was really great seeing you post eluetherios art for this tourney and I wanted to mention that!!!! I loved seeing it

There are so many more friends and people to mention, but I will resist from tagging so many people (mostly BC I get nervous of bothering ppl)

There are so many people who posted so many amazing things about their OCs and I was just really glad to get to see people's passion for their characters come out, see people sharing about their characters !!!!!!! Congrats on 3K followers! Very much deserved. I'm a new follower and was curious to know the story behind your blog (how long youve had it for and how you started out/transitioned into f1) only if you want to share your story of course (:

sit down and get some popcorn babes, here is my life story

Back story, I’ve been writing fanfiction since 2011, I started on quotev (If anyone remembers that) and it was solely 1D fanfics also i was way too fcking young to be writing fanfiction

I started this blog in like mid 2016 and it was mainly an mcu blog (cough cough Tom Holland/Peter Parker) and I wrote a lot of one shots and more on here, but that where the name ‘holllandtrash’ comes from :’)

I took a break from writing fanfic from like mid 2018-2020 bc I started school, moved across the country, dropped out of school, moved back home, went back to school, thought I was in love yadda yadda but I sort of fell out of writing during that time or if I did write, I would never post it

Oh but what happened in 2020 ??? Pandemic !!!! AND the 10 year anniversary of one direction so I actually started to get back into 1d fanfic writing (didn’t post any of it) but I fell back in love with fanfiction while I was stuck at home

I also fell in love w Harry Potter again and then I started a wattpad like mid 2020 and wrote a few HP fics on there that are horribly long and one of them isn’t even completed yet BUT that was most of my 2021, hp, tik tok, wattpad and school

That leads me to falling in love with F1 early in 2022 (I’m a new fan) and honestly for the entirety of last year I was still writing my Harry Potter fics, (shoutout to Elusive & Burn) I was in school up until May, had a full time job after that (still have it), broke up w my ex 💅 decided to save up to move across the world (still working on that part) but everything was going good up until December of 2022

I stopped writing because Christmas is always chaotic for me and my family and work was stupid busy and i was planning a 3 week trip for January and then I got back from that trip and suffered from a burst fucking eardrum of all things so I couldn’t work and i was stuck at home I was lonely and had no motivation

And then one day in February, still with the HP fanfic on hold bc I just couldnt bring myself to write it, I decided to log onto my good ol tumblr and what do I see but some F1 stuff and I’m like oh this is lovely (bc the season hadn’t started yet and i missed the drivers) and one of the first things I saw was a social media au and I was like hey wait…I could do that...

So I did and the Pierre smau (worlds collide) was my first ever piece of f1 writing- if you can even call it that, but then I was hooked. I stuck with the smau’s for the most part for the first few weeks but it was a really good transition to actually writing one shots and eventually back into chaptered fics

I wish I had liked or reblogged that first social media au I saw because it really jump started me back into writing after taking almost three months off

anyway now I am writing when I can, splitting my time between Tumblr and trying to write a real book. My Harry Potter fic on wattpad is still on hold and I would like to go back to it but it’s hard. But this platform really pushed me to just focus on what i love and all of the kind and supportive messages from followers like you remind me why I love to write, I want to write for other people, I want people to feel the things that I feel, even if just for a short amount of time

i'll try to publish a book one day but man writing is fucking hard so who knows

hi!!

idk if u still check/answer asks since the last one is from over a year ago but i was wondering what you thought of sheridan animation so far? I got in for fall 2023 but since it’s more expensive than most of the animation schools closest to me (france lol) i’m debating whether or not to go & would really appreciate your insight!!!

you are so lucky i checked the email that tumblr sent me HAHA i am typically very dead but i would love to answer your ask!! first of all, congrats!! that is so huge :) this program just keeps getting harder and harder to get into over the years haha so honestly, without even delving into whether sheridan has been a positive experience, if you're debating turning it down for the financial part of it, ask yourself if school is something you value a lot! if you got into a program that you believe is not as strong but is more affordable, there is no harm or shame in pursuing it :) education can only get you so far as an animator, the rest is you and your own effort to be honest, i have really been enjoying sheridan!! the program itself is just so strong and i have been enjoying all my classes and my profs -- the issues i have with it are just things related to admin and scheduling structure, stuff that is not exactly specific to the program and are just issues you would face from going to any school haha -- for example, they have some classes that are literally back to back or even overlapping each other??? like what... i feel really confident that i have improved since the beginning of last year -- definitely, one of the best parts is the active critique and support we get to improve on our work, it feels like the profs are really attentive and care about helping us get some strong pieces! i will be just very upfront, however, and say that people consider the workload to be very heavy -- in my personal opinion, i find it's not much more than my workload was in high school, and with good time management, it's pretty easy to get the assignments done early (as long as you don't go too overboard) so if you struggle with focus and time management, it might be a tough few semesters for you haha not to mention the people you will meet in your year will probably make your time there that much more worth it :,)!!! for me, school is something that needs to be in-person/a social environment, and everyone in sheridan is just so passionate to share their work and to improve it as well! we all help and inspire each other, and it's just such a positive and supportive space! i hope that helped! i'd be happy to answer any other specific questions you have, just DM me on discord or instagram, if possible :)

Anyways tho I finally got my ass out of my head and finished my theme which includes the rules, requests, and self ship (me and Ethan 🙄) now i am so proud of myself, because i am incredibly satisfied with the results (i might end up hating it in two seconds)

Also I passed chem! For the first time in two years, yay! I changed my school system two years back so I was failing so much and I just couldn't catch up and I used to fail chem by one mark before seriously and I passed this time (tho am gonna repeat the year so what's the point? (seriously, send me an ask and let me know !) i miss yall a lot, but i know im making the right decision being on hiatus. there's been some recent developments in my life that are making things a lot nicer for me, so i'm doing very well as of late. my physical health is pretty good ! isnt it crazy how when you take medication it makes u feel better lol. i am scared for the summer, as last year's heat wave was a major factor in me getting as sick as i did. i do have air conditioning now ! so hopefully things will be a lot easier. my mental health is also better, though i still need to take many steps in ensuring the best for myself. like, im good now, but im not set forever just yet. we work hard one day at a time 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Ooo ok so I've kinda talked about this one a little bit before, but I've kinda retooled it since then, so I wanna reintroduce it.

So I've kinda jokingly titled this au will byers has main character disease because it resolves around a theory I have that Will was taken into the upside down for a reason, so the story revolves around a character who time traveled back and has hindsight and goes to save him on Nov 6, 1983, but the demogorgan just keeps coming back to get him. s1 plot divergence ensues as our tired time traveler keeps trying to save will and figure out why he's constantly being targeted.

Originally Steve was gonna be the time traveler because he's already used plenty for similar style aus and I was working with some very early ideas BUT THEN I thought about El, and how she'd totally work instead. One of the reasons throwing steve back in time is so fun is because he doesn't really have anyone in 1983. But El? She has no one. the only people who know about her are the lab people. Plus, playing with el's guilt in regards to the consequences of upside down things because she accidentally opened the portal in s1 is so interesting. Also I'm a sucker for the willel dynamic, so that'll be extra fun to play with.

This au isn't at the forefront of my mind rn with mortifying ordeal going on and the npmd 30 day gif countdown, but I am constantly jotting down ideas, so if you have any questions I'm totally open to answering them!!

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

Ooooo good question! Obviously based on what I've written/have planned I'm a sucker for time travel and ghost aus, there's just so much potential for me in both aus. I also find character has powers fics to be quite interesting. Powers often work as a way to add to a characters sense of self or identity or serve as a really interesting metaphor for something else. Also, the strong stoic character breaking down is such a classic I cant resist. there's def others, but that's all I can think of rn.

@brionysea (bloodofgods on a03) has such an excellent grasp on characters in a way that few do and I respect her for that. She has so many thoughts and yall arent ready for her s4 rewrite

@moosemann404 isnt on tumblr much but dear god are their fics so good, I'm always looking forward to them. Such fascinating concepts executed in such an interesting way that keeps me on the edge of my seat, def recommend

Also! The Hyunjae fic was TOOOOOOOOO GOOD PHEW had me tugging at my heartstrings and screaming at Hyunjae to stop being oblivious but it *is* a bad habit for us virgos 😔💔 and the confession scene AHHHHHHHH the whole fic kinda felt like an early 2000s romcom aka the BEST era for romcoms and I ate it up SCRUMPTIOUSLY such a sweet ending the the main/bigger fic section of the series and I really can’t wait to see the rest but please take your time and there’s no rush as I also saw that you’ve been feeling stressed irl so please take a break if you need to! I’m sure we’ll all be waiting patiently for your return to writing and your mental health is top priority so please always take care of yourself first! 🥺🫶

Sakusa hates that he's roommates with you.

College was already hard enough as is, but living with you made his life even more of a hell. He was reluctant at first, but seeing you pester him about it for weeks on end made him give in.

Oh, how he hates agreeing to you. You weren't messy, per se. You were just clumsy. And loud, obnoxious, and you stayed up late at night with loud music blasting through those godforsaken speakers.

Kiyoomi never thought that he'd be living with someone who had come to terms with his hygiene, but somehow had still found a way to annoy the crap out of him.

You had so many annoying habits that he despised. You'd wake up early in the morning, and the bathroom you shared would be misty when he went to brush his teeth. You'd leave for your lectures after making toast and scrambled eggs, but the crumbs would be left all over the counter. When you'd come back, you wouldn't bother keeping your backpack in your room(it would just be sitting on the coffee table, and Sakusa would put it in your room for you).

For you, however, living with Sakusa Kiyoomi(also known as 'Omi-chan' or 'Omi-Omi' by you) was heaven on Earth. He was clean, organized, and he wasn't like your previous roommate. He didn't poke his nose into your business when you came home late and did his part of the chores without question. You had to practically beg him into letting him live with you. Your previous roommate was messy and was practically an alcoholic. Sakusa had only one condition—he wanted you to be clean and organized. And you immediately agreed.

This morning was the same; somehow you had managed to wake up after sleeping only two hours ago. As if you were working in tandem, you got out of the shower as Sakusa began brushing his teeth.

"Your breakfast is on the table!" you yelled out before you opened the front door, "I'm leaving now, Omi-Omi!"

"Come back alive and don't call me that!" you hear, just before closing the door. A small smile played on your lips as you boarded the bus which took you to your university campus.

The day was long for you. More assignments tended to pile up, and you were exhausted from staring at your laptop for too long without having a clue of what to type for your essay.

When you got home, you didn't expect Sakusa to be in the kitchen, cooking ramen as he looked to the door and greeted you, "Glad to see you're not dead."

"Shut up," you mutter, throwing your backpack by the sofa as you faceplant onto the pillows. Groaning, you get up. You hear a small laugh from the kitchen that causes you to raise your eyebrows in irritation.

"Hey, why do you get an off-day anyway?" you offendedly glare at the man who hands you a bowl of ramen before sitting down next to you. He shakes his head with that everlasting smile on his face, saying, "Because I'm an athlete and I need rest. And you, need to start putting your bag in your room or I'll hate you even more."

"You suck," you roll your eyes, slurping on your noodles as you frown at him once more. His giggles were filled with nothing but the most innocent kind of mischief, his face was relaxed and was free of stress. There was unrestrained mirth evident on his features as he kissed the top of your head and replied, "You know you love me."

"Unfortunately," you break out a smile, and somehow, the stress was gone.

And just by looking at your childish smile, Sakusa knew that he didn't actually hate living with you. He secretly loved that you depended on him; the way you'd plop down face first onto the couch after a long day, your bag was long forgotten on the floor or on the table.

Because as much as Sakusa Kiyoomi wanted to deny it, he loved you. And he hoped that you loved him just as much as well.
