Can’t believe I’m literally graduating as salutatorian of my class next Friday and am sitting here wondering how Assassin’s Creed characters would play Minecraft
aight so, question abt native fcs - i have a historical ojibwe oc, anang, who’s fc is muriel from the arcana (sort of this native-siberian-mongolian mishmash in terms of culture & backstory) i’m not sure if it’s fine because he’s got no “real” ethnicity counterpart, but also was wondering if you had any opinions on this or what i should do. thanks for your time mel <333

So I took a peek and Muriel from Arcana and I have to say that it’s entirely alright for people not to be specific especially in their OCs. You can literally just say 'native american' or 'indigenous' because unless the story is directly affecting them or their culture it doesn't have to be a pivotal driving point. (Maybe get a scene to expand the background where they talk about their past and background like any natural progerssing story).
As I've said so many times, the TRIBE of the FACECLAIM does NOT have to match the TRIBE of the MUSE and vice verse. And I think I Mentioned this before, but looking at his handsome face the first fc that comes to mind would be Blair Redford.
edit: ALSO! him being your oc! you have a lot of stretch room! this is only who i suggest off of who you’re basing his looks off of!
MURIEL:
BLAIR:
then googling Muriel it gives a few artists mock ups of how he would look irl and again, I compare (there is no artist credit i apologize, it's the first one you see when googling this character, I am only showing this as a FC comparison and by no way am i affiliated with this art)
Been trying to look at face claims for both Shay Cormac & Connor Kenway and I'm just not finding I can settle on any particular one I am 100% satisfied with, especially Connor.
I usually get uncomfortable having non-live action FCs (animated, comic, etc) to the point that it's in my rules that I won't interact with them.
I've used some icons for my Edward Kenway (what little my brain has let me do with him) that have used his face from in AC: Black Flag (but also some of his voice actors face as well). So maybe there's something different for certain characters. The AC characters do look quite realistic, so maybe that's it. I'm honestly not sure.
I had thought about Michael Fass.ben.der for Shay but i'm not completely sure on him. I can't find a native american FC for Connor that fits him either.
So I don't know whether I should just use their in game faces and barely use icons.
This was my project of 2018, making Assassin's Creed series icons. You might not believe this, but my ex-BF dragged me to Arno-Elise pairing. So that's why I wanted to make the other characters as well!
Sadly I only managed to make till Haytham Kenway, son of Edward. I wanna make Connor too that time. Aaa poor Ezio is alone without Yusuf or his wife--which I forget her name lol.
Actually Jacob and Evie from AC Syndicate also on my list... But guess what xD I get too tired earlier with this mini project because of school. Now I am a college student and yet I exhausted easily now but I must warm up with some digital sketch.
LOOK AT THEIR EYES SO BIG AND BUBBLY lmao. I can't believe this is my chibi artstyle at 2018--means almost 4 years ago?!
Sorry AC, I managed to move another game fandom hahaha, yes Elsword. I can't follow up the whole Assassin's Creed series now. The last thing I knew is Valhalla update. Wow now they're more into fantasy/mythology based since Bayek released xD
Assassin’s Creed Nexus may bring back our favorite characters
The long-running stealth game series Assassin's Creed will continue with Assassin's Creed Nexus, which will follow Mirage. Some astute fans appear to have already figured out which characters will be making appearances in the VR game. None of this has yet been confirmed, but when combined with the title, it gives the impression that we already know what Assassin's Creed Nexus is trying to do.
This potential teaser from Ubisoft relates to Assassin’s Creed Nexus VR, an upcoming VR spin-off that’s set to be fully revealed at the Ubisoft Forward on June 12, as part of the summer of videogame showcases and announcements.
Basically, some eagle-eyed Discord fans think they know what Assassin’s Creed nexus will entail, including the return of some of the series’ most well-known characters. Apparently, the binary code (1s and 0s) in the initial teaser image relate to different strings of numbers, with each giving the birth date of iconic Assassin’s Creed characters: Ezio Auditore, Kassandra, and Connor Kenway.
Obviously, you’ll want to take all of this with a grain of salt. I’m no binary numbers expert, but Access The Animus appear to have put in the work to attempt to figure this out.
I’m leaning toward this being legit, and I’ll explain why. Before even getting into all the binary code stuff, it’s important to note what Nexus actually means. Nexus refers to something that links multiple points or acts as a connection in a specific group or series, which leads me to believe that the Nexus in this case means we’ll be going between multiple Assassin’s Creed games.
That’s just a theory of course, but running through a ‘best of Assassin’s Creed’ in VR sounds like a great idea. For Ubisoft it also means that sequels and or DLC already have a pretty straightforward path, just use more characters, missions, and settings from across the series.
Then again, even the supposed binary birth dates don’t actually confirm those three characters will be in Assassin’s Creed Nexus, even if that idea seems fairly likely considering they’re some of the most well-liked characters, especially Ezio Auditore.
If you’re excited about the future of Ubisoft’s stealth series, we’ve got everything you need to know about the Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date, alongside a look at the very best VR games available right now on PC if you want to expand your horizons while waiting for Assassin’s Creed Nexus.
