Silenced Melody

You know, sometimes I struggle to come up with anything clever for the title, there's something about naku with snakes that just leads to gold puns XD There wasn't much of a reason for this, but just another redraw of an older picture. In my Hindsight in 2020 project I redrew an old picture of Melody and Cora, and there was another old one which I drew and remember really liking at the time and so I felt like redrawing another classic. thoughts on snakes?

i love them. i worked with them for 2 years at a rescue sanctuary and they're much more affectionate than people give them credit for. there was an albino python that weighed almost as much as i did and she loved wrapping around you while you worked and just hugging you like a living scarf.

I have some unfortunate news.

While it's not confirmed either way yet, it is likely that Season 2 will be Earthspark's final season.

Recent information has shown that he show has been, to put it quite frankly, a flop. By their own fault, Hasbro has only lost money from it. Earthspark was badly marketed, had mediocre toys accompanying it, and was hardly ever advertised-- not to mention the major review-bombing done by transphobes online after their discovery of its queer representation. All of this makes it highly unlikely that Hasbro will even attempt to continue the show after Season 2. (Edit: Check reblogs for clarification.)

I'll keep you updated on any further information.
