Why do you look so hot in it?
A/N: Hi... So this is the first time I am posting something 😅 I was re-watching their old videos and I got this idea.... I am posting this because this just would not leave my mind!! So I hope you like it and let me know if you do.
Ps. The prank that I am mentioning is when Elton had superglued a pink wig to Colby's head.
Warning: implied smut but it's only towards the end.

It was 8 in the morning and you were driving to Colby's house, the trap house, to meet him. He did not make it to the party where you were supposed to meet him last night and you got worried. You called him about three times and then received an overdramatic message from him stating that his career is over. Now you love Colby, you really really do but boy can he be overdramatic. He can turn any minor inconvenience into a life threatening situation. He told you that Elton pranked him and now he has to hide in his room for the rest of his life.
You reached the trap house and parked your car in their driveway. You opened the front door that is always unlocked. God they really need to lock their doors. "Colby!!" You call out, walking in searching for your boyfriend. When you reach the backyard you hear whistles coming from the construction site next door and Elton laughing his ass off. You walk out of the house again towards the street just to see Colby wearing a small princess dress in a pink wig twerking in the middle of the street. Nobody had noticed you yet and corey kept yelling at Colby to 'clap his ass'
"What the fuck did I just walk into?" You say capturing everyone's attention.
As soon as they saw you they burst out laughing, Elton kept pointing the camera in your direction as you stood gobsmacked trying to make sense of what you saw. Colby on the other hand was hiding his face in his hands completely mortified that you had seen him do that.
Elton was the first to speak up, "How do you like Colby's twerking y/n?"
"i am still trying to understand what happened to him... Like.... what in the world is going on?" You were speechless.
Corey spoke up as Elton kept laughing, "Elton superglued the pink wig to Colby's head."
"Okay that explains the pink hair but why is he wearing a dress that can easily pass as a maid outfit in some porno?" You asked now starting to laugh as the initial shock was gone. Your comment made them laugh harder and turned Colby's face bright pink. "Thank you for that babe... I really appreciate it." He deadpanned. You just winked back and gave him a flying kiss.
"Also also he got a date!" Corey added.
"A date?"
"Yeah the construction worker right there thinks Colby looks hot and is going to pick him up tonight."
"Oh my God." You laughed hysterically. "You should have told me sooner I would've brought my makeup pouch to help him get ready for the big date!!"
"Okay let's get back inside the house before I embarrass myself more than I have already." Colby sighed fast walking into the house. You watched him walk in and started cat calling him. "Damn princess peach got a fat ass!" Whistling as he turned around to give you a small twerk.
You follow him inside,"You still haven't answered my question though!!! Why are you wearing this costume??"
"Because... I have a photoshoot today. Which by the way got scheduled like what 20 minutes ago and Elton said that if I wore this costume he'll help me get rid of the wig. But apparently he was just bluffing to make me wear this!!" Colby said. Defeat was evident in his voice and as sorry as you felt for him you couldn't stop laughing. This was a damn good prank.
"No I do know how to remove the wig." Elton interjected.
"Yeah but it would burn my scalp!" Colby shot back.
"It MIGHT burn your scalp... And your hair might never grow back."
"Elton!" You gasped. "Please tell me you are joking.... I cannot have a bald boyfriend!"
"THAT is what you are worried about?? Not the fact that it might end my career?" Colby asked with his eyes wide and cartoonish. His hands waving all over the place just flabbergasted as the others started laughing hysterically at his reaction.
"No I am not worried about your career!! Your fans love you way too much to stop supporting you just because you are bald.... Also now that I think about it you can have as many different hair styles and hair colours as you want if you lose all your hair. There are so many wigs to choose from!!!" You answered still giggling at the situation.
You have known for a long time even before the prank wars started that Elton lets his pranks go too far but he always has a solution. He knew how much Colby loves his hair so you trusted him to never hurt Colby.
"Or else just stay like this and we call you princess peach from now." I added just for Colby to shake his head and then scream into his hands. "My own girlfriend roasts me. You know you can defend me sometimes right?"
"Yeah but what's the fun in that princess?"
"Okay.... Okay I see how it is.." he slowly nods his head as he looks at me betrayed and absolutely done.
"Here take this." Elton says while handing him two bottles of nail polish remover.
"What is this?" Colby asks as he inspects the bottle.
"This is what will help you get rid of the wig."
"It's acid!" Corey interjects, "Bruh he literally handed you acid to burn your scalp!" You giggle again.
"Shut up Corey!" You gently scold him looking at Colby's scared expression. His face was drained of all colours like he had seen a ghost. "It's nail polish remover Colby... You'll be fine just make sure to not get it in your eye. It won't do any damage but it'll hurt like hell" I console Colby holding his hand.
He slowly nods and walks into the bathroom. He bends down and turns on the sink faucet then pours the nailpolish remover on his head and rinses it in the sink. "Ow.. ow... It's in my eyes." He backs away. His eyes were now red and watering. You go to him and help him wipe his face. "I told you to be careful!!" You swat his arm.
"I didn't do it on purpose!! Ooooowwww.... It hurts!!" He whined. You keep wiping the drops of water running down his forehead to avoid getting anything in his eyes. Elton zoomed in on Colby's face.
"Oww... It hurts... It hurts so bad... Especially this eye." Colby says pointing his to his left eye.
"Why don't you guys do this in the backyard instead of the bathroom. It would be much easier." You suggested.
"Yeah let's do that" Elton agreed and led the group to the backyard.
"So like should i just jump in the pool or something?" Colby asked
"Or we could use the hose." Corey said.
"Yeah a hose would be a good idea." You agreed as you hugged Colby's waist and kissed his exposed shoulder. Just as Corey went to get the hose Sam and Kat came down the stairs.
"Colby have you not met your other half?" Elton asked nonchalantly.
"No.." Colby says as he casually walked back in the house.
"Oh.. my...goood.." Sam laughed. "Like I saw Colby from upstairs and was like what the fuck but now like... How does this happen?" Sam asked gesturing to Colby's outfit.
Colby gave Sam the same explanation that he gave you a few minutes ago as you kept giggling quietly exchanging glances with Kat.
Finally after goofing around a bit more Colby ended up in the backyard pouring nail polish remover over his head as Elton hosed him down and you recorded them. The wig slowly came off as Colby celebrated.
Once the wig was completely off Elton kept spraying Colby with water. Colby rinsed his hair a bit and looked directly at the camera. As hard as you were laughing before you completely froze when he looked into the lens cause my god did he look good. He looked so good at this moment that you forgot what was going on and the only thing on your mind was Colby.
"I still cannot believe that I was twerking wearing this ridiculous outfit in the street." Colby groaned as the others laughed
"If this was a ridiculous outfit then why do you look so hot in it?" You blurted out. Everyone looked at you as you slapped your palm on your mouth.
"God damn y/n! I didn't know you were kinky." Corey commented as Elton whooped taking the camera from your hands and pointing it at you.
"I said what I said. He looks hot wearing this all wet." Everyone whooped as Colby laughed nervously. "Please tell me he gets to keep this outfit!" You add looking at Elton.
"Yeah he can keep the outfit." Elton giggled shrugging.
"Oh you are wearing this every once in a while." You deadpanned looking Colby dead in the eyes as others hollered.
"As long as you guys keep it down and I don't get to know about any details, Colby gets to keep the outfit!" Sam interrupted.
"You have a deal blondie" I shake his hand laughing.
Once everyone calmed down they filmed the outro. After they finished filming everyone left to get back to their schedules leaving you and Colby alone in the backyard. You walked closer to Colby and gave him a long kiss.
"So I look good in a princess costume?" He asked looking into your eyes
"Yep." You responded popping the 'p' "you look so fucking hot Brock... I swear you help me discover kinks that I didn't even know I had." You whispered as you played with his wet hair.
"You know I still have two hours before I have to leave for the photoshoot." He whispered back as he kissed your cheek.
You immediately pull back and drag him back in the house towards the stairs saying "To the room!" As Colby followed you laughing and stumbling the entire way.

Opening and reviewing my first Australian Girl doll

She spent more than a month in a box, making her way halfway across the world to her new home, and now here she is! I'm so relieved that she arrived safely. It was the longest I've ever had to wait for a doll, and through much of her journey I didn't know where she was or when she would be here.
I don't want to drop too big of a spoiler, but listen to this........ she was so worth the wait, and the money. This doll instantly won my heart with how exquisite she is in every way.
Australian Girl dolls were specially made for Australian children, by Helen Schofield, a grandmother who loved dolls. She created the brand when she couldn't find an age appropriate doll that was locally available or good quality. So she created these dolls to help children feel pride in Australian culture, while teaching them about friendship and empathy. There are five girls to befriend--Amy, Jasmine, Emily, Bronte, and Matilda, each representing a different region of the country, ethnicity, and lifestyle.
The company itself has quite high standards. They strive to reduce waste in their product packaging, and they use a factory in China that treats its workers humanely and does not use child labor.

If you've been around my blog for a while, you know how much I love collecting diverse brands and types of play dolls, especially international dolls. Also, this one will be extra special because I actually have an Australian grandmother--she's also a doll collector, and I'm looking forward to showing her my new doll the next time I see her.
After the cut, I'll show you who she is, and talk about why I chose her. I'll compare her with similar-sized dolls as well, and have her do some dressing up.

I also bought a pair of sneakers for my new girl. I figured her feet would be a bit larger than my other dolls, and these are cute, so she now has three pairs of shoes to wear.
Anyway. Enough of the small stuff. Let's let her out of the box.

It's Amy from Adelaide!
I chose Amy after three entire years of being indecisive and going back and forth on exactly which Australian Girl I wanted. They're all equally adorable, so I picked Amy because her personality seems very sweet, and I love that she has mixed heritage. According to the Austrlaian Girl dolls website, Amy's family tree is a mix of Aboriginal and Dutch on her mother's side, and English and Indian/Fijian on her father's side. Very representative of modern Australia!

I have no regrets. She is perfect!!! Just the most charming little angel. I am officially WOWED.

I'm seriously impressed at the superior quality of her construction. I understand why she was priced a bit higher than similar dolls. She is, from head to toe, beautifully made, with so many sweet details. Her dress and shoes are also impeccably made and feel very durable.

Her hair is flawless. It's a Kanekalon wig with loose curls, in a gorgeous shade of brown. Her eyes open and close. She has both painted and attached eyelashes.

She has a gap between her big toe and the next toe, so she can wear her sandals and thongs.

Her elbows are dimpled and she has subtle blush color on parts of her skin, including elbows and hands.

She has a crease across her palm.

She has articulation at her shoulders, hips, and neck. Her limbs, head, and shoulders are vinyl, and she has a huggable soft tummy. I don't really have a strong preference for either cloth torsos, vinyl torsos, or half and half like Amy. They all have pros and cons. This specific construction is nice in that she can wear low-neckline clothes without showing a cloth body, but it does make her harder to repair in case she has to be fixed.
I have a pretty good idea of what she'll be wearing when she's ready to change out of her pink party dress.

The first photo shows her in a dress I made. The second is a Maplelea dress and hat. The rest are all American Girl brand clothing, except for the shoes. Amy can comfortably wear most stretchy clothes by AG and similar brands like Our Generation, but her feet absolutely will not fit AG, OG, or Maplelea shoes.

The exception to the clothes is some of the tighter pieces. This AG shirt did not fit well. Amy's shoulders are a bit more broad than smaller dolls, and so without some extra give this is too tight.

Amy is 20 inches/51 centimeters tall. Here she is next to my Our Generation doll Jordana. I'm using an OG doll because they're actually available locally in Australia. Whereas American Girl dolls, which I usually use when I compare brands, have to make an overseas journey. So it's only fair that I consider any Australians reading this now who are wondering how Amy compares.

Amy is tall, but not the tallest doll in the family! Here she is next to Fernanda, my Karito Kids doll, who is about an inch taller although slimmer. Karito Kids dolls are in fact just slightly skinnier than American Girl dolls, so they have a much easier time sharing clothes.
In conclusion, I highly highly recommend this doll. She's absolutely sublime! I'm so thrilled to have her here, and I'm looking forward to having lots of adventures with her.
Obviously I'm far from Australia, but my Amy will still live her life as if she were in a suburb outside of the city of Adelaide. I've been looking at pictures of the geography of the state of South Australia, and there are some places in the mountainous parts that look pretty similar to the desert southwest where I live. So Amy will have no idea she's actually in the USA. Don't tell her the truth!

Batfamily Halloween Special🎃
Bruce was throwing his annual Halloween Costume Party, and let every year all the kids always dress up. Most of kids weren’t in the Manor as they would arrive later to join in the spooky festivities.
Alfred was overseeing the staff with last minute decorations. Fake blood, cobwebs, fake skulls, fog machine. Anything you could find at your local Spirt Halloween Alfred had gotten to first. The DJ was finishing his last few technical checks and the catering company was always done with the last few creative dishes.
Meanwhile, upstairs Damian was fidgeting in his sit,”Are we almost Sister?”
“Hold still or you makeup will get messed up.” Y/n was the only person home that could help Damian finish with his costume. After a few moments she pulled back and smiled,”All done.”
Damian flung out of his seat and into his sister’s bathroom to look at his makeup.
“Wow, you managed to make me look the skeleton from that film Grayson made me watch.”
“Jack, you look like Jack Dames.” She took a comb and finished smoothing out his hair. “What’s your costume?” He inquired taking the combing to fix his own hair.
She went into her closet and came out dressed as cowgirl Barbie from the movie with hat and boots.
“Now go put on your costume Dames Dick said he’s five minutes away with the girls.” She fixed her wig and adjusted her scarf. Damian walked to his room around the corner and changed into the costume his brother had gotten for him a few days ago.
When he emerged from his room, Dick and Y/n were laughing at a his phone and noticed Damian.
“Aww Little D, you look so frightening.”
“Tt. And what are you supposed to be Grayson.”
“Aladdin,Kori’s running late but she’s going to be Jasmine.” The three went downstairs which was now in full effect and Alfred greeted the siblings dressed as Count Dracula.
“Nice fang Alife.” Alfred smiled at the three and offered them red punch in black and purple plastic cups. “Why Thank you Master Richard, I must stay though they do take a lot to get used to.”
Barbara arrived with Cassandra, Stephanie and Duke all dressed for the party.
“Aww Dami you look so adorable.” Steph fussed taking pictures of the youngest. He huffed and walked away into the main ballroom where the music was blasting but only a few people from Wayne Enterprise and Queen Construction had arrived.

Y/n snapped a few pictures with Duke and Barbara aka Spider-man and Kim Possible.
Jason arrived with Tim and Bernard not far behind him. “May wanna close that vest up Dickhead your getting cold.” He teased Dick who rolled his eyes.
“IT’s October Jason.”
“My nipples aren’t sharing at everyone entering the house.”
“Jason knock it off.” Y/n huffed, Dick self consciously pulled his vested.
The group had moved to the ballroom mintues ago and more people from Wayne Enterprises and some League members had arrived. Jason stretched standing from the table,” Okay this Skywalker needs food.”
Stephanie and Cass followed dress as the Pink and Yellow Power Rangers.
Selina entered the room dressed as Marylin Monroe and waved,”Why do glum kittens,your parents go trick or treat without you?”
Fred or Tim shook his head,” They’re not here yet, it’s just boring right now.”
Bernard played with the green scarf on his Daphne shirt.
She sighed and saw a several costumed adults and looked back the way she came. “Well looks like the Calvary just arrived. Have fun.” She slipped away into the now bigger crowd.
Members or Young Justice, Titans and Birds of Prey arrived in costumes and soon the kids mingled with their friends and went away from the table only living Y/n and Damian.
“You should ask Uncle Clark why he didn’t come.” She spoke up over the Monster Mash song.
“Tt, if he cared he would have came sister.” He spat.
She stood up from the table and turned to him, “He’s your best friend and he’s been through a lot. Maybe Halloween is just a lot for him, if you tell him how much it would mean to you to show up I’m sure he’d fly here in a heartbeat.”
Damian didn’t answer his sister but did glance across the room to Clark and Lois dressed as Frankinstein and the Bride who chatted with Diana,John and Wally dressed as a Fairy, Boxer and a Race Car Driver.
Damian grab his cup and pondered as he made his way to the refreshment table. He grabbed a few pieces of cheese and felt like his wished the night was over.
The music stopped as DJ announced the arrival of the hosts Bruce and Batmom entered the room dressed as Gomez and Mortica Adams. Once they thanked everyone for coming the party once again went into full swing and Damian slipped away into the gardens.
“Damian?” A voice called to him after what felt like a short while. Bruce sat next to him.
“Are you not having fun?”
He sighed,”Yes father the party is very good.”
Bruce was silent for a few moments and then let out his own deep sigh.”Your sister told me you miss Jon. You should call him, Clark told me the only reason he didn’t come was because he figured you wouldn’t want to participate.”
Damian turned to his father,”Really?”
Bruce smiled at his son and gave his shoulder a squeeze. “He’s your best friend, just call him.” After that Bruce returned inside and Damian remained seated.
He signed before looking at the ground.”Kent,I know listening…I think—I want you come to the party. It’s rather…dull.” He spoke barley in a whisper.
For a while it was just the distance sounds of Gotham noises and the booming sounds from the music inside and then a sudden gust of wind blew a few strands of hair.
“Hi Damian.” Damian’s gaze fell ontop the floating teen before him in full costume.
A grin painted his figured,”And what are you supposed to be Kent?”
“Uh Duh, I’m Danny Phantom.”
Damian laughed and Jon rolled his eyes.
“Come on I’m starving I heard Alfred has jalapeño poppers.” Damian joined Jon as they headed inside.
Y/n elbowed her brother and Jason spilled his punched on himself. He followed his sister’s gaze and they watch from a far.
Dick beamed as he got closer to them,”Aww Little D’s not lonely anymore.”
Jason rolled his eyes. “I don’t know how he can be, you Mother Hen him to death every two seconds.”
Dick shoved Jason and the rushed of his punched spilled on his costume. Dick nervously sprinted away with Jason bolting after him.
“Imbeciles.” Y/n sighed eating a eyeball cheese.

Some noticeable differences in Christine's costumes between Norway (2018-2019) + Greece (2020) VS Greece (2023) and Saudi Arabia (2023)
ELISSA SKIRT: The original skirt was made of a floral golden fabric with a transparent golden drape with fringes. The new skirt is made of a blue and golden floral brocade with longer golden drapes. Depicted: Astrid Giske (Oslo) and Harriet Jones (Athens).
DRESSING GOWN: The original was made of a transparent ivory fabric with matching flounces, and fairly short. The new one is made of a thicker ivory satin (?), with whiter lace flounces, and longer. Both are worn over white stays and breeches. Depicted: Mira Ormala (Oslo) and Bridget Costello + Georgia Wilkinson (Riyadh).
MASQUERADE "ANGEL" DRESS: The original costume had a fitted, beaded bodice with golden wing decoration in front, and a fluffy three-tiered skirt. In addition white feather wings. The new version of the dress in Greece had whiter angel wing decorations on the bodice, and a longer skirt with less gathered tiered layers. This costume was also worn with white feather wings in Masquerade, but this was not done for the curtain call (where this photo is from). In Norway Christine - who is blonde in this version - also wore a dark, curly wig and a rose in her hair. This was briefly tried out in Greece, but dropped before the premiere. The new design for the Greek revival feature a dress with similar ideas, but here the bodice is black with a scrolly black and golden front panel over a "puffed blouse", and the skirt all burgundy and wider. A fun fact about me is that due to the way I grew up, I either wore hand me downs from my siblings or clothes my mother picked up for me for practically all of my teenage years. By highschool I could pick like 2-3 things I wanted once a year or so.
Which meant I made shitty impulsive choices like a HORRIBLE neon green shirt when I was 15 that looked like the one you would wear at a construction site but I wanted it because my mother hated it lmao. AND, most importantly, three slightly different jackets with fake fur on the hood that were ALMOST all the same but again, slightly different.
You can see why I'm so passionate about Kit Herondale's almost identical but slightly different collection of jackets with fur on the hood. And thinking about it, considering how he lived with Johnny, I like to think he picked out those in the same way I did once he started living with Jem and Tessa.
Anyway, all of this to say, I found one of my old jackets, and I have a blond wig and bad ideas.

Seira Sangcada
name meaning: seira means "star" and sangcada is derived from "zancada" which means "a long step" . . . story → Her mother is a filipino who moved to Japan as a nurse, which is the norm for the people in my nation since local jobs don't pay as much and we're pretty much expected to give nurses and construction workers to other countries, that being said, she has a keen interest in spiritual mediums which caused her to seek out people like Natsume's mother. <- We tend to be very religious and have many beliefs. It was through Natsume that she got introduced to Sora, and eventually seeing herself fall head over heels for Tsukasa Suou. Seira learned a lot from her mother's influence, namely she actually has a few siblings and is surprisingly good with children despite not really liking them. Filipinos also LOVE to do karaoke, singing is a very common entertainment in our media from gameshows that center around guessing which person is a lipsyncer to our version of The Voice, many of us gather around celebrations or at bars to sing. So she has a pretty good singing voice :3
Katsumi Tokunaga
name meaning: Tokunaga (篤永) means "diligence;eternity" while Katsumi (勝魅) means "victory;charm" . . . story → Katsumi is delayed by one year and is in her second year when she's enrolled within the Producer Course. Often, she runs errands as a manager-in training in CosPro, particularly for Eden. Having ran away from home, the world of idols had given her the hope and opportunities to move forward in her life. Her skills lie in processing technical jargon or people's emotions, which help her with her current job and role as a producer student. Despite being the eldest sister in her family, her vibes are more of "little sister". She has a growing collections and wigs for her disguises when she accompanies the Eden idols. She has a major crush on Anzu and her way of showing that is through gifts, as well as trying to chase off any other potential rivals she has.
Eria Esthesia
name meaning: Eria( 瑛俐愛) means E (sparkle) Ri (witty) and A (love) and Esthesia is "the ability to feel sensations."
. . . story → Eria was once a student attending the school ran by the Aoba's, attending around the same time as Tsumugi and later on Natsume. She lived in the general area as Tsumugi did, learning about how he moved to Yumenosaki and all, but only saw Natsume again during Switch's first public live during Easter Night. Ever since then, she's been quietly rooting for the three members, seeming to be an avid fan despite her timid appearance. Although Eria isn't shy, with her perceptiveness making her secondguess how she approaches people, but once she's familliar with them, she turns out to be quite sharp-tongued.

Hello!  I’ve never realized that there was a wealth of passionate storytellers sitting right under my nose this entire time.  I kinda figured this community was more for novelists and not… well whatever the hell you’d call me.  Figured I’d outstretch a gnarled hand to see if anyone’s brave enough to take it.
ABOUT MY WRITING
I’m not a huge fan of sticking the things I make into boxes as most of them sit in weird nooks and crannies that make labeling them specific things feel a tad inaccurate.  As a general trend however most of my stories have some flavor of horror influence in them.  Something is never quite right, but to what degree depends on the story.  They’re often set in completely original fantasy settings bearing little resemblance to what we would consider normal.  I have a trend of child or young protagonists (probably the cartoon influence coming in there) figuring out their place in the world or something fundamental about themselves.  Coming of age stories, stuff like that.  Found family is also abound in many shapes and flavors across my many half developed stories.  
My stories are almost exclusively long serialized affairs focusing more on character development than plot intricacy.  I won’t claim them to be simple but the thrust is definitely on character motivations.  I like to write stories about people being people without a looming calamitous threat or great quest they must go on.  There’s something charming about normal people dealing with the cards they’re dealt the best they can.  I definitely have stories about fantastic quests and imposing dangers it’s just a bit of a coin flip which one you’ll be getting with me!
I also have a small list of concepts I make a point of not attempting in any of my writings.  Time travel, prophecies, immortality, and resurrections are all things I avoid for various reasons.  You’ll likely never come across them in any of my stories.  No hate towards any of these concepts, except time travel, they are just some ideas I don’t find any real enjoyment in including in my works.
ABOUT ME
Oh what’s to tell?  Name’s Alex, but if real names wig you out Grave or Grime work just fine.  I’m a twenty eight year old professional animator, but you won’t be hearing much about that here.  I like to keep work and hobbies separate.  Here I’m mostly an artist but I’m going to be trying to branch out to share more about my stories.  Keeping all this nonsense up in my noggin has got to be a bad idea, ya know?
Regardless, despite my focus on art on the social medias my real passion has always been storytelling!  Stories have been my life blood for as long as I can remember. From my mother reading me stories before I went to sleep, to trying to write my own short stories in middle school, to a brief but passionate fling with filmmaking back in highschool.  The latter serves as the base for a lot of my writing practices and techniques to this day!  In truth my switch to comics/animation/arts was primarily a practical choice as I feel those mediums allow me to best express my ideas with the least reliance on other people.
I’m a fan of the weird and strange with an emphasis on the fantastical and horrific.  Cartoons are my bread and butter, they’re something I can talk endless hours about the merits of them as a medium, but there isn’t a medium of storytelling I really shy away from.  I love the craftsmanship behind the construction of stories and characters and am always very eager to go on long conversations about the fundamental structure of storytelling.  Also a big fan of hypotheticals and working out plot/character/world points with anyone willing to put up with me.
MY WIPS
Time for the meat and potatoes, let's get into it!  I have a lot of stories, all receiving a varying level of attention, and because of this I tend to run two or three stories I’m actively working on at this moment.  I’ll be detailing two of three stories that I’m focusing on right now.  The third is a new work that I haven’t unveiled to anyone yet.  I’m giving it time to cook before I show it off, but rest assured it’s shaping up very well!
Grimm Deeds (GD)
A long form story following the adventures of Corny, a young boy with the ability to interact with ghosts, ghouls, and spirits, after being taken under the Grimm Reaper.  Though there seems to be an ulterior motive behind the reaper’s tutelage.  Tons of crazy and macabre escapades await the relatively normal boy as he learns what his abilities truly mean.  
Grimm Deeds is like a love letter to halloween and all things a little bit spooky.  It’s jam packed with magic, monsters, and all those spooky delights I love!  I really think it shines through in its characters though.  Without tooting my own horn too much I think they have a surprising amount of depth given how goofy the whole thing appears on the surface.  It being about the Grimm Reaper and his position in the world it also deals with death as a concept quite a bit.  Something I always have a good deal of fun exploring!
In the Dominion of Hate (DoH)
An animatic style story about the unfortunate misunderstanding that befalls Lilium of Bliss leading to her being cast from her home into the Dominion of Hate.  Wishing to prove her innocence, and encouraged by the abstraction Query, she embarks on an epic quest across the black sea of turmoil to find a way back home!  Primarily a story about self discovery, even if Lilium isn’t fully aware at first, in the Dominion of Hate is a swashbuckling adventure across the strange and surreal sea of turmoil.  Watch a young lady with no conception of the world but a willingness to learn befriend horrific monsters and gods of conception because she’s just so darn charming!
I’m sure people don’t like to play favorites like this but Lilium is actually my favorite character I’ve ever made.  She’s got a very unique but fascinating way of thinking thanks to her equally bizarre upbringing and I can’t wait to share that with you all!

Four's a Crowd
Summary
Mostly follows the story of SAMAU. However, this time, it's not just you that gains the attention of the Employers. Your roommates do so as well. (This piece is basically just a description of your roommates; there's not any SAMAU in this. Sorry!)
One other thing to note: Although I use 2nd person in this, the Player has sort of grown into their own character over time. Oops?
Being a streamer often kept you up late. It took a huge portion of your time, and your schedule basically revolved around your streams.
Often you were unable to do your share of the housework, so it fell on your roommates.
You were lucky, then, to have roommates who were not just okay with, but happy about your work.
In fact, they even joined in sometimes. If the game allowed, they would play with you from their own computers; otherwise, they often sat on your bed and provided commentary from off-screen.
Your community had come up with silly nicknames and backstories for all of you based on the little information that you'd revealed.
All of this had begun as a series of running jokes. Your "brand" was something like a phoenix; your screen name was Firehawk, after all, and you really did adore fire. Thus, your fans liked to draw you with the traits of a firebird.
You'd even seen some very interesting, well-written fanfiction about yourself. Even if it was a bit odd to read about your own streamer persona kissing your favorite characters or, god forbid, your roommates.
Of your friends, the first to appear, surprisingly, had been Tick—named for the antique pocketwatch he'd showed off on his first appearance. He was very busy and didn't show up often; he also had a very handsome voice, according to chat.
He wasn't much of a participant, either, preferring to sit and comment about your performance. Considering his love for math, he tended to approach things from that angle, sometimes discovering mechanics that you hadn't even noticed. Because of these traits, he was often portrayed as a mysterious and brooding timekeeper, with many secrets to hide.
(In reality, Markus was the only one of your roommates to have a traditional office job. He worked as an accountant, running the numbers for a construction company. He didn't really like the kinds of games you played; he said they were too stressful for him. You said that the way he played Stardew Valley was plenty stressful, but to him, there was a huge difference. He was also the calmest of all of you, although he was quite socially awkward, another reason why he didn't appear very much.)
Then came Rosebud, which came from the rose hair clip she wore 24/7. He was another fan favorite; sometimes you wondered if they liked him more than you. She was very charismatic, unhinged in just the right way to become adored by the masses.
He happened to be the most frequent guest on your streams, since his schedule matched so well with yours. She seemed to enjoy interacting with chat, often riling them up, much to your chagrin. Your fans seemed to think that she was a flower demon of some kind, which she delighted in.
(Honestly, you couldn't blame them for adoring him. Akemi's cheerful chaos really was infectious. Chat thought Tick was the most mysterious, but they had no idea just how strange Akemi was. She often simply... vanished into the night. Because of this, he was even more nocturnal than you—you didn't think she'd seen the sunlight in at least three years. You were also fairly certain he ran a Twitter account dedicated to you, which you decided to take as a compliment.)
Finally, there was Chroma, who had gained the nickname because of her brightly-colored, ever-changing style. Especially her colorful wigs. She'd taken to wearing outfits themed around whatever game you were playing, so she was usually the first to learn of your plans for the week.
She mostly appeared at either the very end or the very beginning of the stream. She was incredible at video games, and sometimes you even recruited her to help you out when you got stuck. She also adored insects, so she'd always try to sit in when you played insect-themed games. Chat was, naturally, head-over-heels in love with her.
(As a line cook, Josie had become excellent at dealing with pressure, even growing to enjoy it. Her attitude, both in work and in personal life, was efficient to a tee. In the past you'd associated that with insufferable perfectionists... but she was so passionate and caring that it balanced it out. She was an optimist who saw the best in people. No, not just saw—considering the stuff you knew she'd been through, she fought tooth and nail to believe that there was good in the world.)

"Soo, Subaru. What d'ya think~?"
Subaru's face is completely blank as he stares at himself in the mirror, having been forced into drag by Kou for the first time.
He barely recognises himself, from the platinum blonde wig reaching his waist, full waves framing his face, to the make-up, perfectly constructed to hide his usual resting bitch face.
The clothes are also making him feel different. His dress is black with diamond-embedded lace sewn onto the chest, and it barely reaches past his crotch (which is okay because he's fully tucked). Kou also filled his chest and thighs with padding underneath opaque tights, giving him a curvy figure, and with the addition of heels he can barely stand in, he's over six foot.
Subaru wasn't expecting much from his boyfriend putting him in drag, but... he doesn't hate it.
"It's uh..." he stammers, running his fingers through the hair, so soft it feels real. "Okay, I guess? I dunno what to say!"
Kou walks to his side and places a hand on his am, pointing in the mirror at the get-up. "Does this make you feel good?"
"I mean, I don't feel bad," Subaru replies. It's not gender euphoria he feels per say, but if Kou was to dress him up this beautiful again, he wouldn't reject the offer. "It's... kinda pretty, I guess? It feels weird though."
"Why?" Kou asks as he reaches up to Subaru's face, gently resting his palm on the other's cheek. "Because you feel good about yourself for once?"
"Jeez, way to make it deep," Subaru scoffs under his breath. "In a way, I guess- But... I never imagined looking feminine before, okay?!"
"You don't have to imagine anymore~" Kou chimes, grabbing his fake breasts. "I can't wait to dress up in a matching outfit. We can get so many cute pictures together!"
"Hah?!"
"Not dirty ones!" Kou reassures him before winking subtly. "Unless you want to~"
"You- Well, maybe," Subaru agrees hesitantly, feeling his face heat up but the three layers of foundation conceals it. "Just... don't tell any of my brothers about this, alright?"
"Of course not," Kou snickers, leaning up and pecking his lips briefly. "This is for my eyes only~

Gender's Role in M. Butterfly
Gender is a social construct, a malleable idea that is influenced by society. Carolyn M. Mazure from Yale School of Medicine states gender as “self-representation influenced by social, cultural, and personal experience.”[1] Many people want to insist there is only the binary of male and female, man and woman, masculine and feminine. However, gender is more nuanced than a monolithic binary. A person’s gender is a personal matter based on how they perceive themselves: man, woman, nonbinary, genderqueer, gender fluid, agender, or transgender. Regardless of how a person identifies, the world can perceive that person differently, as is the case for Song Liling in David Henry Hwang’s M. Butterfly.
For those of you who have never read M. Butterfly, it is a play about Rene Gallimard, a cisgender white man, recounting his time with Song Liling – a Chinese, non-cisgendered opera singer who presents as a woman and a man. Gallimard is a married French man living in Beijing in the 1960s who becomes enamored with Liling after hearing them sing “Un Bel Di” from Madama Butterfly. Gallimard is so taken with the story of Lieutenant Pinkerton and Cio-Cio-San that he imposes the characterization of Cio-Cio-San onto Liling, calling them “Butterfly” for most of the play. Dressed as a woman in traditional Chinese female clothing, Liling lets Gallimard continue to believe they are a woman as they spy on Gallimard for the Chinese government. By the end, Gallimard cannot accept Song and their male body, so their story ends in tragedy.
While the fact that Gallimard is white and Liling is Chinese is important, M. Butterfly would be a different story without Liling’s gender influencing the story. Gallimard first sees Liling dressed as a feminine, graceful opera singer, and it is dressed as such that Gallimard assumes Liling to be a woman with female anatomy. Liling goes to great lengths to maintain their feminine appearance and persona as they spy on Gallimard, dressing as a woman when not performing and buying a child to claim him as Gallimard’s and Liling’s son. Yet, in act three, scene one, Liling dresses as man to match his sex during their and Gallimard’s espionage trial in Paris. Then, in act two, he takes of his clothes to prove to Gallimard that Liling was always a man, regardless of how Liling presented their gender to Gallimard. Yet Gallimard refuses to accept song as anything but a woman – his Butterfly. If Liling had been a woman all along, Gallimard would have rejected Liling for being a woman who dared to use, manipulate, and spy on him, calling into question Gallimard’s masculinity and his sense of power and authority. Since Liling does not have female anatomy, Gallimard focuses on his former lover’s body not matching their womanly presentation and, therefore, Gallimard’s delusion of Liling being his Butterfly.
As important and influential as Liling’s gender is to the play’s plot, their gender also plays a significant role with the play’s audience. Although transgender people can be found in literature throughout history, the quantity of the gender identity’s representation is low. As such, many readers view Liling as transgender due to Liling’s preference to dress as a woman more often than necessary. In act two, scene four, Liling’s handler, Comrade Chin, calls out Liling for this preference, “…You’re wearing a dress. And every time I come here, you’re wearing a dress.”[2] Liling does not outright call himself a woman, though. In act three, scene two, during his physical reveal to Gallimard, Liling undresses for Gallimard in an attempt to convince him that Liling, regardless of clothing and anatomy, is still Gallimard’s Butterfly. Liling calls their time in the kimono and wig a part they played. They strip completely, revealing their male body, and then they have Gallimard touch their skin while they cover his eyes to remind his that the skin Gallimard is touching is the same skin he touched when Liling dressed as a woman. While Gallimard does accept Liling’s male body, he refuses to accept that his Butterfly is male. Liling insisting Gallimard accept their male body does not negate the opinion of reader’s that Liling is a transgender woman. The play contains enough evidence to support that opinion. Yet the play also contains enough support for another opinion on Liling’s gender: Liling is a cisgender male and a drag queen. Even though Liling dresses as a woman for acts one and two, using she/her pronouns anytime they are dressed thusly, Liling spends act three dressed as a man and uses he/him pronouns. A drag queen makes sense because they have their male identity for their everyday lives, and then they have their female persona when they perform, and Liling is a performer, an opera singer. With both transgender people and drag queens being negatively portrayed in the media and targeted in numerous bills in the United States, both readings of Liling’s character are valid and important because both interpretations show there is more to gender than man and woman, masculine and feminine.
In her essay, “We’re All Someone’s Freak,” Gwendolyn Ann Smith – a transgender woman, writer, and activist – discusses people’s need to put others in nice, neat boxes, to make others be an either/or: man or woman, normal or freak. Smith writes, “We just want to identify the ‘real’ freaks, so we can feel closer to normal. In reality, not a single one of us is so magically normative as to claim the right to separate out the freaks from everyone else. We are all freaks to someone.”[3] Like transgender people and drag queens are “freaks” in today’s society, Liling – whether transgender or a drag queen – was Gallimard’s freak. Gallimard could not put Liling in the nice, neat “woman” box, could not accept that he fell in love with a male body in woman’s clothing. Liling being Gallimard’s freak prevented the latter from accepting the former as they are, leaving Liling alone and Gallimard lost to his fantasy of his Butterfly.
The takeaway from this is that M. Butterfly would not be the lasting, influential story that it is without the role of Song Liling’s gender. Liling having a male body while dressing in women’s clothing shaped their relationship with Gallimard, played a significant role in their ability to spy on Gallimard, and lead to the tragic ending of Liling’s and Gallimard’s relationship. Transgender or drag queen, Liling was Gallimard’s freak, and Liling being who they were will continue to be valid and important in a reality where gender is a social construct.

A Girl With A Bird (2022)

These is a three stories construction. A first version, inscribed in the tradition of japonisme was released in 2017 under the title Path of Beauty. Then, in 2019, the painting evolved in another direction, the lady shed her skin, put a fair eighteenth century wig on and became part of a short film made of stills set in motion, being one of the Gifts of Birds as the story unfolds :

She looks pensively and smiles gently, floating on a dreamy flower bed, as the bird carries to her the enigma of a fourth crystal ball.

fashion |  DES CHEVEUX ET DES POILS at MAD Paris
   Following the success of the exhibitions La mécanique des dessous (2013), Tenue correcte exigée ! (2017) and Marche et démarche (2019), the Musée des Arts Décoratifs continues its exploration of the relationship between the body and fashion with an exhibition on hair styles and body hair grooming. Des cheveux et des poils (Hair & Hairs) exhibition, which runs from April 5 to September 17, 2023, demonstrates how hairstyles and the grooming of human hair have contributed to the construction of appearances for centuries. Hair is an essential aspect of one’s identity and has often been used as a means of expressing our adherence to a fashion, a conviction, or a protest while invoking much deeper meanings such as femininity, virility, and negligence, to name just a few.
The exhibition explores through 600 works, from the 15th century to nowadays, the themes inherent in the history of hairstyles, but also the questions related to facial and bodily hair. The trades and skills of yesterday and today are highlighted with their iconic figures: Léonard Autier (favorite hairdresser of Marie- Antoinette), Monsieur Antoine, the Carita sisters, Alexandre de Paris, and more recently studio hairdressers. Great names in contemporary fashion such as Alexander McQueen, Martin Margiela, or Josephus Thimister are present with their spectacular creations made from this unique material that is hair.
The exhibition is presented in the Christine & Stephen A. Schwarzman’s fashion galleries of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. The scenography will be created by David Lebreton of the Designers Unit agency.
In an atmosphere where shades of blond, brown and red evoke the main hair colors, the course, divided into five themes, questions what makes hair, in Greek- Roman and Judeo-Christian cultures, an attribute of the animal and wildness and explains why hair had to be constantly tamed to remove the woman or man from the beast.
FASHION AND EXTRAVAGANCE
The first part of the exhibition opens with the study of the evolution of feminine hairstyles, a real social indicator and marker of identity. In the Middle Ages, obeying the command of Saint Paul, the wearing of the veil imposes itself on women until the 15th century. Gradually, they abandon it in favor of extravagant hairstyles that are constantly renewed. In the 17th century, the hairstyle “to the Hurluberlu” (dear to Madame de Sévigné) and “to the Fontange” (after the name of Louis XIV’s mistress) are emblematic of real fashion phenomena.
Around 1770, the high hairstyles known as Poufs are undoubtedly the most extraordinary of Western hair modes. Finally, in the 19th century, women’s hairstyles − whether inspired by ancient Greece, or known as “the giraffe,” in curls or “the Pompadour” − are just as convoluted.
TO BEARD OR NOT TO BEARD
After the hairless faces of the Middle Ages, a turning point occurred around 1520 with the appearance of the beard, symbol of courage and strength. In the early 16th century, the three great Western monarchs: Francis I, Henry VIII, and Charles V were young and wore beards, which were then associated with the virile and warrior spirit. From the 1630s until the end of the 18th century, the hairless face and the wig were the hallmarks of courtiers. Facial hair did not reappear until the early 19th century with the mustache, sideburns, and beard: this century was by far the hairiest in the history of men’s fashion. A multitude of small objects used (mustache wax, brushes, curling irons, wax, etc.) testify to this enthusiasm for mustaches and beards.
During the 20th century, the rhythm of bearded, mustached, and smooth faces continued, until the return of the beard among Hipsters in the late 1990s. The maintenance of hairiness among these young urbanites has given rise to the profession of barber, which had disappeared since the 1950s. Today, the thick beards tend to give way to the mustache that had deserted faces since the 1970s.
The choice of keeping, eliminating, hiding, or displaying hair on other parts of the body is also a subject of history that the exhibition addresses through the representation of nude bodies in visual arts and written testimonials. Hairiness is rare, or even absent from ancient painting. The hairless body is synonymous with the antique and idealized body, while the hairy body is associated with virility, or even triviality. Only enthusiasts of virile sports such as boxing and rugby, as well as erotic illustrations or medical engravings, show individuals covered in hair.
Around 1910-1920, when women’s bodies were exposed, advertisements in magazines touted the benefits of hair removal creams and more efficient razors to eliminate them.
In 1972, actor Burt Reynolds posed naked, hairy body for Cosmopolitan magazine, but fifty years later, an abundance of hair is no longer in fashion. Since 2001, sportsmen being photographed naked for calendars like Les dieux du stade (The Gods of the Stadium) have had rigorously controlled hairiness.
BETWEEN TRUE AND FALSE
Hair styling is an intimate act. Moreover, a well-born lady could not show herself in public with her hair down. A painting by Franz-Xaver Winterhalter, dated 1864, depicting Empress Sissi in a robe and with her hair untied, was strictly reserved for Franz Joseph’s private cabinet. Louis XIV, who became bald at a very young age, adopted the so-called “bright hair” wig, which he then imposed on the court.
In the 20th century, Andy Warhol had the same misfortune: the wig he wore to hide his baldness became an icon of the artist. Nowadays, hairpieces and wigs are used in high fashion, during fashion shows or, of course, to compensate for hair loss.
The natural hair colors and their symbolism are studied along with what they convey. Blonde is said to be the color of women and childhood. Red hair is attributed to sultry women, witches and some famous stage women. As for black hair, it would betray the temperament of brown and brunettes. From the experimental colorations of the 19th century to the more certain dyes from the 1920s: artificial colors are not forgotten. The work of the hairdresser Alexis Ferrer who makes digital prints on real hair is also presented.
TRADES AND SKILLS
The exhibition reveals the different hair professions: barbers, barber-surgeons, hair stylists, wigmakers, ladies’ hairdressers, etc., through archival documents and a host of small objects: signs, tools, various products, and the astonishing perming machines and dryers of the 1920s.
In 1945, the creation of haute coiffure elevated the profession to the rank of an artistic discipline and a French savoir-faire. 20th century hairdressing is marked by Guillaume, Antoine, Rosy and Maria Carita, Alexandre de Paris styling princesses and celebrities. Nowadays, great hairstyling is mainly expressed during the fashion shows of prestigious fashion houses. Sam McKnight, Nicolas Jurnjack and Charlie Le Mindu were invited to the exhibition to create extraordinary hairstyles for top models and show business personalities.
A HAIRY CENTURY
Finally, a special focus will allow us to evoke the iconic hairstyles of the 20th and 21st centuries: the 1900 chignon, the 1920s garçonne haircut, the 1930s permed and notched hair, the 1960s pixie and sauerkraut, the 1970s long hair, the 1980s voluminous hairstyles, the 1990s gradations and blond streaks, not to mention afro-textured hair.
The arrangement of hair in a particular form can reveal the belonging to a group and manifest a political and cultural expression in opposition to society and the established order. More ideological than aesthetic, the Iroquois crest of the punks, the neglected hair of the grunges or the shaved heads of the skinheads are strong moments of hair creativities.
Wearing the hair of another, known or unknown, has an eerie dimension, and this superstition seems well-entrenched. Despite these apprehensions, some creators choose to transcend this familiar material into fashion objects. This is the case of contemporary designers such as Martin Margiela, Josephus Thimister and Jeanne Vicerial. The question of identity, treated lightly or more deeply, is often at the heart of the reasoning, whether the hair is real or fake.
