SO here's a couple of very important commissions, it's two of the final characters we came up with during contract riders, which i worked on with help from @irlnautica and @armouredswampert! here we have the Big Bad of the main campaign, Ultraman Caesar (or "Ultrasenan") and the mysterious Rider from the future (and from the "winter movie" sessions we ran after the main story), Cuchulomax (who may or may not be Dolmen's son), wielding the Hell Seizer!

Fanart of my friend @speedfreak01's character, Contract Rider Papillon!

Contract Rider Papillon aka Mari Posada is a high energy streamer who streams her Geister fights online! She has access to seven different forms that are chosen by her stream audience instead of what's practical.

There's a lot of stuff I'm proud of in this piece, the use of a reference for Papillon's pose, the fun design of the Snail Geister, and my first tentative steps into drawing my own background! I'm overall really happy with this piece and excited to continue growing from here.

💛 The Home for Wayward OCs: the Contract Riders! 💛

Here’s another big group shot! These are the Contract Riders, a group of young adults who work as masked riders in the domed Elysium City in post-apocalyptic Australia. Left to right, we have Mariela Posada (Contract Rider Papillon), Roger Chaumet (Contract Rider Luxe), Parker Prophet (Contract Rider Java), Hannah Shirogane (Contract Rider Wyvern), and Sean Irons (Contract Rider Dolmen). This is right after their final battle!

I referenced art from @speedfreak01 (art here) and Jolene (art here)! Java and Luxe were designed by their players Sarah and Brendan.

I'll never be against an athlete choosing the job with the higher salary (hello, tons of regular people do that every day, I might do it myself one day if offered the chance) but I'll be honest, when the lesser offer is still a 7 numbers figure, I'm not going to think that that offer is a bad one.

#yes this is about fabio and deep down yes I understand his choice and no I don't think this is about just the money #of course it's also about pride (factory seat) and staying with the team he's won with and that he considers family #I get that!!! #and yes motogp riders should be paid more when you compare them with other racing series #but I think it's a little out of touch to not consider a salary in millions (besides all the brands deal) something already huge #esp when some moto2/moto3 riders have to PAY for their seat #and I don't even want to know about what's in wsbk riders' contracts #and I'm not saying this only about motorsport #the base contract for an nhl player is like 800k or something #even if he just plays 4th line/3rd pairing minutes #yes they can get injured and out of job in a snap of fingers #and I have read so many stories about former athletes going broke because they can't manage their money #(and yes sure maintaining a high lifestyle cost more and they spend more money but be real with me we're still talking millions here)

Is Valentino switching his team to Yamaha in the coming years?

Rumours are definitely circulating. Apparently they are slated to make the switch to Yamaha in 2025 and become their main satellite operation with access to factory bikes. Yamaha needs a satellite team after RNF abandoned them for Aprilia and Tech3 abandoned them for KTM. I think Uccio said somewhere that they are trying their best to get a factory bike for Bezz in order to give him a better shot. Which makes sense because Bezz gave up a Pramac seat to be with them.

Unfortunately Yamaha is squeamish about making the switch from an in line engine to a V4 engine. Their argument being that they have used these engines forever and the other teams that use V4 have years of advantage on them. Which again, fair because engineering at the highest level is about how familiar you are with every little last detail and that experience only comes with time. Not likely that Yamaha will make big tech changes before 2027 and that's some time away. Interesting to witness for the VR46 operation because they have been incredibly lucky with a rider like Bezz who brings this massive wave of talent, and Luca who is sharp and great at communicating with engineers. Add to that the fact that Ducati has the most sophisticated simulation tools of any factory team. So you know, even though they were at par with Gresini, they were still able to furnish far better results.

Fingers crossed for their Yamaha years because Fabio Q has spoken extensively about how Yamahas just don't have the engine power. But I suppose the Rossi connect would get them more favour from the factory operation than they get currently. All in all, fingers crossed.
