weird thoughts I get at odd hours of the evening:

it'd be cool to have something in Guild Wars 2 similar to the og game's 'mercenary slots,' which allow you to save your characters as usable NPC party members to play with on another character. it'd be great to have something like that even just for photoshoots, slapping multiple characters into a setting so you can take fun pics.

idk about you but i got sick of zelda running after people with big sorrowful puppy eyes begging them to listen to her(they wont) or to help link in totk pretty fast

#ganondoodles talks #totk spoilers #i just can stop thinking about how dirty she got done #she can be a tragic character without being constantly sad and scared #dare i say she contributed more positive to the game when she was a dragon #the only scenes she didnt look super sad was pretty much when talking about link at the teacup memory bc .. you know she actually knows him #and where shes essentially forced to decide to half kill herself in order to do literally anything for her own time #now that im thinking about it how the heck did anything on the tutorial even work with her giving her powers to you #and you sending the master sword to her #just feels like they scrambled to somehow get you her pwoers and the mastersword to her #some random bubbles of time magic idk lol #if the game went different #wouldnt it have been cool if those had been caused by zelda learning how to reastablish a connection to her own time #creating those weird time bubbles #and through the course of the game you find more and they let you interact with her more and more as shes learning how to use her powers #until at some point she finds a way to return herself #maybe even her spirit as a companion for a time before she gains control of it further #you know so she can actually at least TALK to you #giving her time powers out of nowehre and then not doing anything with it exept send her back in time somehow and time reverse a dagger #like what #wouldnt it just have made more sense when at first she did it unknowningly and then learned how to use it herself #and then .... well travel back again #ham fisted way to introduce a neat lil game gimmick i guess #and nothing more bc how dare she do anything on her own except .. sacrifice herself lol #i guess its meant ot be uwu tragic bc sonia got fridged too quickly for zelda to learn from her or whatever #which is why i said she learns on her own #idk man this game is driving me nuts

me after attempting to get back into sims and realizing i had a lot more to do than play the game

#hi everyone #I’m going around hugging you all #okay now that we are gathered here today #i will simply acknowledge that i have been gone for a very long time and then also acknowledge that maybe it was for the best #i relied on sims to be my only creative activity even if i tried to write a book at the same time #and also. i prioritized sims over real life responsibilities. that’s just a deadly combination lol #but I recently noticed I just replaced sims with Netflix. with YouTube. with anything that gave me quick dopamine #literally became addicted in a sense. still am but I’ve been cut cold turkey from most everything #I get off work and go. okay I’ve done the dishes and the laundry……..I could read or write or bake…. #I try to write and sometimes i get a good hour #then I read for a few hours and then get tired of it #and I made cookies Tuesday so I’m waiting for those to be gone before baking again #I’m just so pitiful that I feel BORED and don’t know what to do #so I said….. okay what if I do sims for an hour. #I downloaded some new cc Tuesday and tried to play yesterday #y’all ……………….. I can’t find the energy anymore to set up elaborate scenes and pose my sims and plan posts #I said wow… this is boring without my intervention and fake story #I said wow…….. all this for what? for tumblr? yes I created cool things and provided joy. but is that inherintly important compared to my #own joy? my own everyday activities I should be doing? #y’all I do not leave the house unless we got out to eat or shop or travel to our parents #.. I have little desire to. I’m trying to find that desire #but my husband is busy with grad school and work and I don’t want to do anything by myself #I’ve found myself in one heck of a slump #I didn’t want to be human for awhile. just had no desires no interests no ambitions #I was slacking off SO HARD at work. I just had no drive to do well #I’m still working on it. I’m still trying to get caught up. I’m still trying to force myself to move every day. #but I am struggling y’all. and I can tell you that sims… sims isn’t helping rn but I want it to so bad. I want to get back into it #I didn’t mean to disappear on everyone. I got married and then life got busy and then I fell into this hole of nothing #I didn’t even WANT to crawl my way out. but my husband has helped a lot. So I made Astarion in SIMS4

I was feeling creative and and my brain just keeps on going back to this Vampire even though I was in a different game already. 😅

He looks younger here ngl, I tried to make him look older but my mods aren't enough to do that yet 😅 I was able to find a really nice Astarion CC for clothes and hair tho!

I kinda made him look like the Ascendant in his Formal clothes~ He still looks adorable tho aaaaah

aaaaand him in some Modern Version clothes haha! This is him in Athletic Wear, Sleep Wear, "After-Party", Still have the SUN PROTECTION on the Beach~, Summer clothes, and Winter clothes!

I love putting him in white coz it reminds me of his Camp Clothes. I imagine him being stylish and hiding his eyes away so It's not too obvious he's a vampire. lol

im not that good at explaining cause most of why i like it is feral incoherent thoughts doing a merry-go-round in my brain and i dont speak english good enough to voice it that well but i just really like their little i saved you you saved me thingy they have. Reigen hitting rock bottom when Mob is not around, how he's gonna rush in against a dangeround freaking esper with nothing but a gun to rescue him. mob going stfu reigen shishou sometimes... #out of context this is an extremely unimpressive picture lol #heck maybe even with context #but HOLY FREAKING MOLY #c/2022 e3 (ztf) #comet ztf #Cheese's personal molasses #THE J O U R N E Y TO GET THIS SMUDGY LITTLE THING PHOTOGRAPHED #the cold broke one of the clasps of the telescope's tripod so we had to shorten it all the way down and just sit on the cold lake deck #looking back and forth between an online simplified star chart the sky and the scope #meanwhile the moon is rising higher and higher and making everything brighter #so we're just taking random cool night pictures because even if we didn't manage to see the comet at least we got to see a cool night sky #then like an hour later my dad texts from 5 hours away asking if this one little tiny smudge in my housemate's picture is The One #then comparing everything we realize that that smudge is exactly where the comet's supposed to be tonight #so THEN we're both using the telescope at the same time trying to find this smudge #him with the tiny viewfinder and me through the main scope #many inadvertent head bumps #so he's telling me to move a little this way and that way to find specific stars #and I am totally guesstimating because his head's in the way of the viewfinder #but then we found it! #solidly smudgy and faintly green exactly where it was said to be #then trying to line up the phone camera with the telescope which is hard on a normalday but on a day with minimal light from the subject #darn near impossible #but by SHEER LUCK happened to snap this photo on the first try #we tried to get longer exposure afterward but couldn't manage it #fingers were frozen and couldn't see a thing and our other friend was freezing inside the car #so we had to bail #but WE SAW ITTTTTTTT #and now that we've found it I think it'll be easier to find in the future #dunno that I'll be able to line it up long enough for a longer exposure picture though #ahhhhh but I'm so satisfied right now you have no idea
