Quali-tea Time

A request from @riz-coolgirl of a Lost Boys tea party:) hope you like this!

Poly! Lost Boys and Laddie

(Sorry for this poorly edited pic, I just think it’s silly🤪)

The boys were huddled around the fountain in the cave’s main alcove. Dwayne had called a “coven meeting” and the other boys were staring at him expectedly.

“Did you know we could call meetings?” Paul whispered to Marko.

“You two actually can’t,” David told them while tapping ash off of his cigarette, “we don’t need to hear any more ideas about looting a hospital.”

Marko crossed his arms and pouted.

“Alright listen up,” Dwayne said garnering the boys’ attention, “Laddie wants to have a tea party and we’re all gonna go. No. Complaints.”

Paul perked up immediately, “you mean with the sandwiches and shit? Sign me up!” He said enthusiastically.

Marko bit his thumb, “I’m actually busy that day,” he told Dwayne, “so I won’t be able to make it.”

Dwayne crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes, “and what day would that be?” He asked.

“He didn’t say which day idiot,” David said, slapping Marko on the back of the head. Marko cringed.

“Marko,” Paul said, turning to Marko looking deadly serious, “there will be sandwiches. Get your shit together.”

Dwayne actually wasn’t sure that Laddie was going to be able to get his hands on any real food or drinks for the party, but Paul didn’t need to know that.

“Listen, he’s got it all set up in his room now,” Dwayne told them, “he really wanted to do this and we’re gonna be good brothers and attend his tea party. Got it?”

“I’m so there bud!” Paul said.

Marko sighed and David rolled his eyes.

“Let’s go,” Dwayne said.

As Paul skipped over to Laddie’s alcove, Dwayne pulled Marko and David back by the collars of their jackets.

“If you ruin this for him, there will be consequences,” Dwayne whispered into their ears, “I’ll give you a minute to fix your attitudes, and then I’ll see you inside.” He told them before pushing past them into Laddie’s room.

Marko turned to David, biting his thumb once again, “Is it bad that that turned me on?” He asked.

David groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose between his fingers. “Just get in there,” he said through gritted teeth.

As Marko and David walked in, they were greeted with the sight of Paul and Dwayne cramped into tiny chairs around what looked to be a coffee table. Next to them were various stuffed animals and dolls holding porcelain teacups decorated with floral patterns.

The sight of Dwayne’s knees pressed against his chest as he was seated in a chair obviously meant for a child normally would have had Marko crying laughing, but Dwayne’s stern gaze was keeping him in check. Marko gulped.

David gestured to a spot next to a porcelain doll with huge eyes and a permanent smile etched onto her face. “All yours man,” he said to Marko.

Marko paled, “no, no, no David,” he protested, “leaders first, after you.”

David stared at the doll and cringed. Neither of the boys moved.

Laddie walked up to David and tugged on his sleeve, “you don’t like my doll?” He asked, tears threatening to fall from his brown eyes.

Dwayne watched them with eyebrows raised.

David sighed, “that’s not it Laddie,” he said, kneeling down until he was eye level with the small child, “it’s just that Marko and I both want to sit next to your pretty dolly so badly, and there’s only one chair.”

Laddie smiled, “that’s no problem!” He told David, dragging the chair that had been next to Paul, over to the other side of the doll, “now you both can sit next to Isabella!”

“Great,” David said through clenched teeth.

Marko and David took their seats next to the doll as Laddie came over and handed them each tea cups.

Dwayne stuck his pinkie out and sipped his pretend tea, while Paul opened a flask and poured it into his cup.

Marko looked at him inquisitively.

“What,” Paul asked, “just because there aren’t any real refreshments at this party doesn’t mean we can’t bring our own!”

Marko rolled his eyes.

Laddie picked up his own cup. “I’d like to make a toast,” he announced.

The boys raised their cups.

“To having the best brothers in the whole world” he said smiling.

The boys shot them back their own smiles, “I’ll drink to that,” Marko sighed happily, as the boys all clinked their cups together.

He’d been slowly drifting back into consciousness for a while, but the unmistakable sound of the laptop being snapped shut finally made him open his eyes. - Junk Accounts He woke with a gasp, his heart feeling like it was trying to break out of his ribs, it was pounding so hard. - Crash and Burn Yeah, so maybe that last shot had been one too many. - Spinning It was a nineteen hour drive back to the Bunker, they did it in seventeen. - Something Stupid The door opened and Dean stepped into the motel room, tossing a small, brown paper bag onto the crappy table in front of Sam’s laptop. - Rolling Sam was dying… fast. - 9/10ths of the Law Sam was leaving. - Leaving Rapid deceleration and the sound of the Impala’s tires switching from pavement to gravel caught Sam’s attention and pulled him out of his studying of a rare 1559 edition of Münster’s Cosmographia that they were taking back to Bobby. - Do Not Fuck Here “It’s not that bad.” Dean said as he eased himself down onto the side of the bed. - Helping Hand <buzz buzz> Sam glanced over at his phone where it lay on the table next to his laptop. - Whatever This Is

Okay, so, patterns??? Well, the most recent four I haven't mentioned either of the boys' names in the first sentence, but the previous six I did, so that's a shift maybe. I seem to either write very short opening sentences or long run on ones, is being a chaotic spaz a pattern? LOL. Hmm... I don't know, I don't tend to open with a line of dialog. Other than that I don't see any patterns.

12. Which movie has your favorite soundtrack?

Oooo there's so many, but I have to bring it down to The Guardians Of The Galaxy trilogy, and The Lost Boys.

Both have my all-time fav genre of music, which is late 70s and 80s stuff, and some good 90s hits in GOTG 3! And Lost Boys just had some of those amazing originals that give me chills every time...

13. What is your comfort film?

Oooo, again... There's MANY LOL. A lot of the early 2000s Disney and dreamworks movies (like Tinkerbell, How To Train Your Dragon, Spirit, Tangled, ect) really get me back to feeling like I'm 6-years-old again, and can definetly jerk some tears out of me.

But honestly, I think Lord Of The Rings is a huge comfort film franchise for me. My mom watched it a lot when I was growing up so around until the point I was old enough to sit through a movie, I've always had a love for it.

Some days, when I need a little cheer up or something to lift my mood, I put in the extended edition and spend my day binging. 💜💜 :]
