Coral bells (Heuchera spp.) are a beautiful and versatile flowering plant that thrives in partial shade to full sun and well-draining soil. They are drought tolerant and should dry out slightly between waterings. With their delicate foliage and vibrant blooms, coral bells are a popular choice for gardeners looking to add color and texture to their landscapes. Popular varieties can range in color from purple to red to pink to the green seen above. Coral bells are not considered invasive and are native to North America, including the Rocky Mountains and the eastern United States.

12 Days of Not-the-Usual Christmas Music
So this is going to be me posting not-the-usual Christmas music, from the 20th through the 31st. I've wanted to do this for a while, just share songs that don't generally pop up on the Christmas radio loop. Some are funny, some are poignant, some are religious, some are secular. Just doing something pleasant at the end of the year.
Day 4: Krampus by Coral Bells
youtube
Krampus, being more technically part of the St. Nicholas tradition than the Christmas one, technically comes out on the night of December 5th. But thanks to Martin Luther not being a killjoy and wanting to keep a fun thing for kids alive even as they ditched saints' days, many protestants moved the supernatural gift-giver to Christmas, and as such in America (where "Santa Claus" was really born as an amalgamation of St. Nicholas, the Christkindl, and Father Christmas) Krampus has become part of Christmas celebrations. This song, by a San Diego band, will absolutely get stuck in your head but is an absolute hoot so no apologies for the earworm.
