Ok here's what ig you could consider my spin on the cruel!AU which doesn't have a distinct name yet, and also designs for this AU as it's basically become a thing for me to add those.

So, the story is actually really simple. At least right now.

Basically, when Millie escapes Funtime Freddy, he doesn't go after her, though he takes it to scare her. She runs out of the workshop where she finds Maurice waiting for her. She runs up to him and tries to hug him and tell him what just happened, only to be pushed away.

"You learned your lesson, then, didn't you?"

Millie is hurt and confused by his lack of sympathy and when she asks what he's talking about, he tells her Freddy was meant to teach her a lesson, for all the things he called her out on before attempting to kill her. She asks what he would've done if she died, expecting that to elicit a reaction of remorse. Or maybe assure her Freddy wasn't actually capable of any harm. Anything to show he cared.

Instead, he points out how by climbing in Freddy's chest, she put herself in danger of her own will, and her death would have just been a tragic accident. Then he pats her on the shoulder, praises her for learning the "flaws" in her behavior, and tells her to "go enjoy Christmas with the rest of the family."

Millie has no choice but to keep living with Maurice, and he hasn't hurt her before or since and seems satisfied with her change in behavior, but dddddDOLBO SSSSSSSS DEVELOPED BY AAAAAAAAA that event gave her PTSD and she's having an extremely hard time dealing with it. When winter break ends, the very first thing she does is find Dylan and Brooke and try her best to make amends with them, apologizing for her behavior earlier. They both forgive her and Dylan is glad to be friends again, but in the moment assume her timid and sad demeanor was her remorse she was apologizing for. They wait for her to become more confident around them, but...

She never does. She hides in their shadows, profusely apologizes for her still prevalent anger issues. She's timid and shy, more so than she was before, and she's WAY cut back on her pessimistic behavior, even if she's still, well, a pessimist.

And between that barely matching Millie from before break save for the same core personality, her never talking about her home or her family, visibly bristling when Dylan mentions her grandpa, who he'd met once when he and Millie were hanging out, literally once running out of class and getting sent home for throwing up because the class was discussing what they did to celebrate Christmas, and all of the signs clearly pointing to PTSD, the other two, especially Dylan (who, you probably remember my Dylan's parents in my AU, he's pretty familiar with both the old Millie and, like, trauma,) are super suspicious of what happened over Millie's winter break.

Maurice better start sleeping with one eye open 'cause once Dylan and Brooke find out what he did they're gonna be pissed and every second he's not running they're getting closer, all while Millie tries to hold them back and calm them down lmao

Probably wasn't intended, but I'm getting some Millie x Dylan x Brooke vibes from this, cuz rarepair that only I probably ship go brrrrr-

But with that in mind, Maurice gets his kneecaps bashed in by his granddaughter's pissed off boyfriend and girlfriend, aka literal teens who's gonna take him to the hospital (no one hopefully-)

This is currently a very barebone au, The core of it simply being “dsmp but prison go brrrrr” but I have a few ideas

- Tommy, Tubbo, Wilbur, and techno all meet each other in this prison. Found family shit happens, and would prob be the main plot of them trying to escape

- Tommy and Tubbo get to be enemies to best friends because I fucking said so /lh they be getting in so many fights and them boom, cookies

- everyone who was apart of manburg (excluding Tubbo) are guards

- I can’t decide if Quackity should be a guard who gets seduced by two prisoners and is terrified of techno, or if he should be a prisoners with many crimes who gets seduced by two prisoners and is terrified of techno

- Skeppy be covered in many scares and bandaids cuz he protec bbh

- bbh is dirty crime boi, he steals ur stufff

- Ranboo is either a guy just trying to be chill and paint but keeps getting in fights, or the guy who starts so many riots and spends half the time in solidarity
