It finally happened, the dream of thrifting a Chemex that had been miscategorized as a flower vase came true! And for a dollar!
Among other finds, a vintage Corning mini carafe and French white Corning glass baking dish the perfect size for baked Brie.
A No. 4 filter works if you don’t have the proprietary chemex filters. The wooden collar was missing, but I can’t complain too much. That’s either a project for the lathe or crochet as I’ve got some nice skeins of wool that I’ve used for mug cozies in the past.
