Hello, could you do Childe, Venti, and Thoma reacting to you getting corona virus and then taking care of you? Thank you very much.
Mobile tumblr ate the beginning of my work when I tried to indent what the fuck man
His biggest concern at the moment besides taking care of you is trying to make sure he doesn’t get sick himself. If he gets sick then he won’t be able to take care of you. This leads to you being sequestered to a corner of the house and kept in your bedroom, him bringing you anything and everything you need or want.
Tumblr media
Venti is almost clingy? He doesn’t like the fact that you’re being left alone there which might lead to him playing music for you from the end of the hall or singing for you with a mic so you can hear him trying to keep you entertained. He’s sweet about it, cracking jokes and keeping you company almost all hours of the day.
He’s not great at cooking which means that he either orders in or makes canned soups for you to eat. To him, as long as you’re able to get something down he doesn’t really care what it is.
He’s also frantically texting other people what to do to try and make you feel better. He already isn’t the greatest at taking care of himself when he’s sick (he’ll usually go about his day with the addendum taking medicine because being sick doesn’t bother him) which means he’s worried he’s not doing enough for you. You can hear him calling his friends and asking for their advice, his concern for you warming your heart and making you feel better.
Tumblr media
Thoma is great at taking care of you. He’s already gotten used to cooking and giving meals to any of his friends whenever they’re sick, never mind being in a pandemic. He’s given so many get well soon packages that at this point it’s second nature, leaving it at the door and knocking on it for you to see him happily standing there at the end of the hall with the characteristic crinkle of his eyes when he smiles. You almost wish he didn’t have to wear the mask but you knew that you didn’t want him to get sick so you didn’t let it bother you too much.
His get well soon meals are also delicious, and you wish that you weren’t too sick to appreciate them. Thankfully you were able to keep your sense of smell, meaning you were able to enjoy them a little bit if you ignored the irritation of your throat or the pounding headache that beat insistently behind your skull.
Like Venti, he wants to spend as much time with you but he’s not able to which makes him sad. This means instead that your phone or laptop is almost constantly plugged in because he’s always on call with you. He doesn’t want you to feel isolated just because you’re quarantined off and thankfully it does help abate your loneliness.
Tumblr media
Childe is also very good at taking care of you when you’re sick. He’s grown up helping take care of his siblings so he’s put you on a strict schedule to try and help you get better as soon as possible.
You can’t be too mad at the procedural way he’s laid out your food and medicine, knowing he’s doing it because he thinks it’s the best thing for him to do for you. He’s cooked your meals personally, thinking about the best way for you to get your nutritional values especially while sick and even if healthy food isn’t exactly delicious, you eat it anyway.
He won’t force you to eat everything but he does like to see you trying to eat at least a bit! He makes the portions a little smaller so you don’t have to worry about trying to eat all of it and if you feel up to having more he’l give you more.
Childe is insistent he’s got a very strong immune system, willing to stand right at the door as long as you both have masks on so he can see you in person because he misses you too much. You try to limit the contact as much as you can, missing him but also wanting him to stay well. Thankfully he really doesn’t end up getting sick and his strict regimen got you feeling well pretty quickly.

Reflecting on the case and the marketing strategies of Corona and Heineken reveals a tale of two varied approaches, each with its unique implications in the competitive landscape of the beer market.
As I read the case- I kept comparing the dynamic nature of advertising and selling beer in the US. Having grown up in India- the nature of ads from alcohol companies were very different. My reflection highlights some of the areas where regulatory frameworks lead to innovative marketing tactics such as surrogate advertising.
Finally- I could not help but wonder what the impact of the pandemic was on a brand like Corona (for obvious reasons). I remember listening to a podcast back in the day about the ultimate positive effect the pandemic had on beer consumption in the US, and my final point covers that.
Corona and Heineken's Divergent Paths Corona’s growth in the U.S. market, challenging Heineken's long-standing dominance, serves as an example of how brand imagery and lifestyle alignment can reshape market dynamics. While Heineken has promoted its brand as a premium quality, heritage, and sophisticated one, Corona adopted a different strategy. Its marketing campaigns evoked a sense of relaxation, escapism, and the simple pleasures of life, epitomized by the iconic image of a lime-wedged bottle on a sun-drenched beach.
The Indian Context: Surrogate Marketing Turning to the Indian market, where direct advertising of alcoholic beverages is prohibited, brands have resorted to surrogate marketing to make their presence felt in the consumers' minds. Companies promote products that share the brand name with the alcoholic beverage, such as music CDs, water, or even airlines, thereby maintaining brand recall.
For long, some of the funniest and most memorable ads, usually came from such brands. This strategy, while requiring creativity and indirect messaging, highlights the complex interplay between regulatory environments and marketing innovation, allowing brands to build a presence in a market with strict advertising restrictions. (Alcohol brand selling "Music CDs": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zhozmQCDYg&pp=ygUdbWVuIHdpbGwgYmUgbWVuIGltcGVyaWFsIGJsdWU%3D)
Lately, many brands have launched zero-alcohol products, using these as surrogates to gain market popularity. Heineken was definitely the winner in the Indian market – from my recollection, I never saw a Corona ad.
Any publicity is good publicity? - True for Corona!
The COVID-19 pandemic presented unique challenges particularly for a brand like Corona, given the unfortunate name association. Despite initial setbacks and market confusion (with rumors rife with association to the virus), Corona's marketing strategy demonstrated resilience and adaptability. Research suggested that the brand's visibility and consumer loyalty contributed to this growth, with each new COVID-19 case seemingly boosting Corona's sales by $5.30 weekly compared to other major beer brands. The article mentioned that Corona beer gained "accidental popularity" due to its name's association with the coronavirus, driving increased attention and sales during the pandemic. Only Dancing With It Will See Us Through
“There is no satisfaction. A blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive.”
Martha Graham to Agnes de Mille. From “Creating a life worth living, fly page 2/4/2020 Tuesday 5:46am
The above quote was written in a journal that I began on October 17, 2019. The last entry I made before I misplaced the journal was on February 5, 2020. The Covid 19 pandemic had not yet begun in California where I lived.  The following entry is the first in this journal after I relocated it and after the pandemic had roared into our lives:
“This journal was lost under a pile  of books until now. It emerges into a different world. The world of the last entry, 2/5/2020 is gone. Done. Shut. Over. The second geography ended 3/15/2020. The Corona Virus pilgrimage began the third geography. The second geography set was struck during the week of March 16-20, 2020. It’s now Sunday, April 26, 2020. It’s 6:11am. Everything now is radio active. Poisonous. To touch or to talk to closely with another is potentially fatal. We have become a party of one. The virus is invisible, silent. Relentless. It seeks donor bodies like a mosquito seeks blood. Second geography denial is music to the virus’s ears. To group is to die. Group oriented capitalism is a potentially fatal endeavor. The world has shrunk away to your house, your car , the store. Money and machines hold no sway in the virus’s relentless march. Orders and control also are useless in its path.
Only dancing with it will see us through.
End of entry
Notes:
Agnes de Mille was an American dancer and choreographer Martha Graham was an American dancer and choreographer.
I call the time after I quit drinking on February 21, 2011 the second geography. It was a land of working out in gyms, personal trainers, writing in coffee houses, seeing movies and plays.  All of this done alcohol free.  But, the advent of Covid 19 in March 2020 led to the third geography which to some extent still exists. I now, in 2024,  almost never go to coffee houses, movies or plays. I write and blog instead, which are solitary pursuits. The fear of the virus still pervades, but in a subdued form.
When a play's run is over, the play set is taken down. This is called "striking the set".
I actually love the quote by Martha Graham that begins this entry. I agree, there is no satisfaction. Even now as I write this, I feel anxious. But, the anxiousness propels the pen, or the fingers dancing on the computer keys. The pursuit of happiness is like chasing a ghost. Instead, turn dissatisfaction into gold via channeling it into a creative endeavor.

“Land of the Rising Sun”
"Shiawasena Dokusho" means happy reading
JAPAN
Japan is often called “the land of the rising sun”.  Many people from around the world wonder why Japan is called the land of the rising sun. Is this because Japan is the first country to see the sun?  In Japanese, the country is called Nihon (Nippon). Both Nihon and Japan originate from the same words; they literally mean “where the sun rises”. The English term for Japan's national flag is "the rising sun flag." The Japanese flag with the sun in the middle was first flown at the start of the seventh century. It is said, nevertheless, that the flag's color scheme was altered from what it is today. A red background with a golden sun was the initial color scheme. Ships used this flag to display their nationality near the end of the Edo Period. It was then applied in numerous other locations (Japan luggage,2023).
One of the best place to visit in Japan is Tokyo. It is Japan's capital and the world's most populous metropolis. It is located at the head of Tokyo Bay on the Pacific coast of central Honshu. It is the focus of the vast metropolitan area often called Greater Tokyo, the largest urban and industrial agglomeration in Japan (The editors of Encyclopaedia Britannica ,2023).
If you would visit Japan you should be ready to the expenses because The major costs of a trip to Japan are flights, accommodation, transportation, food, and activities. Flights to Japan can cost anywhere from $600 to $1,200 for a round-trip ticket (trip.com, 2023). So if you’re from the Philippines we convert dollars into Philippine peso it would cost ₱33,732.60 to ₱67,465.80.
Japanese people always display modesty and humility. People often bow to convey the message: “I am not above you. I respect you.” Bowing longer with a higher degree of angle means more respect. The Japanese people are simultaneously followers of Buddhism and Shintoism. In Japan, a Buddhist temple serves as the site of funeral rites for deceased people and a Shinto shrine serves as the location for birth ceremonies. In Japan, individuals take off their shoes when they enter a house and bathe nearly every day because they are so concerned about hygiene. The fact that there are no garbage cans in public spaces and everything is still clean surprises a lot of visitors (Acar, 2023).
Compared to other countries, Japan has relatively more festivals because Japanese religions are related to  the harvest  and the change of the seasons. Each of Japan's 47  prefectures has a different festival, usually held in the summer. Locals usually wear yukata and sandals to participate in the festival. One of the biggest parade in Japan is the Gion Festival in Kyoto that started in the 8th century when there was an epidemic like the corona virus (Acar, 2023).
In Japan you should know some of the rules before visiting the place. Some of the rules are when taking public transportation in Japan, it is important to know a couple of things. Talking loudly to friends on the train, chatting on the phone and blasting music through headphones are all very much frowned upon in Japan. Using chopsticks properly is very important in Japan, it is not expected of you to be able to use chopsticks as a tourist in Japan but the Japanese will be super impressed if you do. Most restaurants will have forks on hand if you need one (Ciara, 2023).

An AntiFan Named GrumpGirl
To BTSARMY:
Whoever this Grumpy Girl is, wants total attention, and we are giving it to her. Grumpy Girl reminds me of Donald J Trump who makes things up as she lives in her own world of lies.  I don’t doubt that she is one of thousands of conservative Christians who reside in the United States.  This person has many followers, and her hate is pitting fans against each other, and we need to be careful.  Taekook is real she says… is like saying the Corona Virus is fake! Stay strong she says to others as Donald Trump has said to his followers as they swarmed to the United States Capital with insurrection in mind.  They were there to cause harm and she is here to cause harm to BTSArmy fans.  A lot of people like Grumpy Girl think we hate Taehyung in which we don’t.  I see that “We Love you Taehyung” is trending but it is there for different reasons.  Her words tell me she is a homophobic pretending to be a Taekooker and she is using who she thinks is the weakest link in BTS and that is Jimin to disrupt the fandom. If she can’t utilize Jimin, she goes after Bang Si Hyuk. Making a sick and mental inuendo of sexuality between Jimin and Bang Si Hyuk. That is criminal and it is called Sexual Harassment.  Grumpy Girl is not as dumb but dumber and her criteria is to cause harm.  Her manipulations is working on those who believe in the friendship of Taehyung and Jungkook.  Who is this hurting, none other but the Macknae line of BTS.  Her target is not the fans of BTS but BTS themselves.  She is using the fans to separate and divide the BTS 7 members or causing such an effect to decrease their popularity.  It’s called propaganda! What is “Propaganda” you ask? Propaganda is the dissemination of information—facts, arguments, rumors, half-truths, or lies—to influence public opinion. Deliberateness and a relatively heavy emphasis on manipulation distinguish propaganda from casual conversation or the free and easy exchange of ideas.  If you go against her propaganda, well guess what, we start getting her rantings of cursing, deep voice negative connotations, and arguments to invoke the crowd.  Same thing Donald J Trump uses to cause a negative action among MAGA.  We as BTS Army worldwide need to get Grumpy Girl off her pedestal by mass reporting her, copying and pasting her negative innuendos onto an email.  If anyone can put a draft email, it should have links to her social media platforms.  BigHit Music has let us know they are getting the emails, but they get thousands of emails which can cause back log of complaints.  Also, if we start blocking her, it eliminates her viewing numbers.  She is desperate and that is why she is now using a program like Zoom to interact her propaganda to those who will listen.  There are a lot of mentally disturbed people out there and that is why I advise not to engage with her negativity.  If you do not know the email address it is [email protected]
Sincerely,
Colorado BTS Army

Aizuki Hikaru: Interview for “The Fantasticks”
(Note: If it’s not obvious, this is my third translation for Aichan, and my mutual very successfully converted me like. I work full-time for Rei and part-time for Aichan. My day has more than 24 hours, it’s a Hibiscus clock. Anyway, I’m amazed by her comments and just how it reminds me of Rei’s acting spirit sometimes about androgyny.)
In the Musical “The Fantasticks”, Aizuki Hikaru-san plays as El Gallo. Entered the Takarazuka Revue in 2007. Combined with both noble and wild qualities, with a three-set combo (singing, dancing, acting) power, she has charmingly acted as a wide range or roles, from Lucheni in “Elisabeth – The Rondo of Love and Death”, Eri Makropulos in “Immortal Thorns”, Bernardo in “WEST SIDE STORY”, Tybalt and Death in “Romeo and Juliette” and Rodrigo from “Manon”, and has acclaimed popularity as a male role (otokoyaku). She graduated on December 26, 2021 in “The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls” (Role: Ashina Dōhaku) “More Dandyism!” This will be her first musical since she graduated (taidanned).
When you knew about the offer of playing El Gallo, how did you feel?
— I was surprised. This time, knowing about the idea that the role El Gallo that was played by a man would change to be a woman playing as a man is really interesting. Also, I think it’s useful for me because I’ve already mastered being an otokoyaku, so knowing that I could revive that, I accepted the role.
When you accepted the offer, were you lost or confused by anything?
— After leaving Takarazuka, I didn’t have any thoughts of going back on stage, so I was lost and conflicted. But because El Gallo is not a role that has me “acting while wearing a skirt”, I thought that even though this was a quick timing since taidan, fans won’t be reluctant but also happy to see it, and therefore decided to take on the role. I’ve never seen “The Fantasticks” but knowing that it’s a famous work, I’m so blessed to be part of this.
What do you think you’ll work on for preparing the role El Gallo?
— I’m wondering if I had to act as manly as possible, but director Ueda (Ichigo)-san told me “There’s a meaning for a woman to play this, I want to see those betwitching charms presented, that I’d wonder if (El Gallo) is a woman or a man”, so I thought this is a vibe different from the otokoyaku in Takarazuka. Because I find it interesting to present those charms that attracts people regardless of age and gender, I hope to think and grasp those parts as I do rehearsal.
What do you think is the presence of El Gallo in this musical?
— The wanderer El Gallo is responsible for the story teller parts, there’s a scene where (El Gallo) tempts the heroine Luisa, a presence that hurls and messes around the characters, but also guides them. Different from the charms of protagonist Matt, I was thinking about performing (El Gallo) with more of a mature man’s appeals.
What’s your impression on the music?
— Since El Gallo is a man’s role, the songs have a low key, and it may be lower than I ever did in my otokoyaku times. Because this is a new challenge, I want to sing these wonderful songs firmly.
How do you think about this musical?
— I feel the presence and existence of the charms of this historical musical “The Fantasticks!”.
How do you feel about entering this world now the first time?
— It’s my first time meeting the staff members and cast members, how would it feel in rehearsal…it’s still an unknown world to me. I’m very nervous, but also excited. My classmate (douki) who just graduated from Takarazuka recently advised me, “It’s pretty embarrassing to go in rehearsal with those classy outfits you’d wear in Takarazuka, so be aware of that.” (LOL).
Is there something you want to do before you start rehearsal?
— I’d want to go to singing lessons first.
When you graduated from Takarazuka, did you take it slowly for a while?
— I did take it slowly. In the latter half of being in the revue, because of the corona virus, I had a life where I couldn’t meet up with people, now I’ll still be careful, but I could meet up with people I want to see and have a great time with them.
How are your days in Takarazuka?
— They’re all of my youth. When I graduated from high school and entered (Takarazuka Music School), that’s all of my life. But, I still feel lonely sometimes.
After graduating, you’ve never thought about being on stage anymore?
— I have no interest in the stage apart from that of Takarazuka. I’ve gone to see some upperclassmen who taidanned appearing on different stages, but if it’s going on stage again apart from (Takarazuka), I’ve never pondered about this when I was in the revue. It’s because I only love being in the stage of Takarazuka.
What have you thought of doing apart from stage?
— I’d be happy doing modelling work in magazines. This is something that I would be the happiest in doing if I didn’t enter Takarazuka. Now I’m happy to do this kind of work.
Then, have you thought of any expectations in the future?
— I think this musical that I’m taking part in would act as a barometer for me. When “The Fantasticks” end, what would I think about myself? Will I be doing more (of stage) or is this enough? Then from this moment on, I’ll think about what steps I should embark on. I think it’s okay to decide after each and every time.
As “THE FANTASTICKS” will open soon, please give a message to the audience that are expectant of this!
— I never thought of being in this musical and playing this charming role of El Gallo, and I could meet with a role again to revive what I’ve learnt in Takarazuka, I’m already feeling looking forward now. Because I was thinking that the fans must be happy about this, with that thought, and since I’ll be asking for many people’s strength, I’ll hope to learn various things and also embrace the performance.

A new role for the Audience
Hey guys! I'm kinda just putting this here, in case someone would be willing to. I'm not able to attend the next class, so if any of you would be willing to swift off to groupe 1 with me for the presentation, it'd be great! ^_^ Thanks!
ANYWAY...
I found a very interesting article about TikTok, So I thought I'd share with you a few concepts she develops. It's also related to my project so it might help me brainstorm for my subject at the same time.
TikTok broke-out during the lockdown. She mainly focuses on the "parodic corona-virus music", that is to say, the pieces of music that are brought back and have their lyrics changed to express lockdown situations and feelings. She describes the "endless scrolling system" of the platform as an "intensely involving platform" making people active participants in the culture. She says "The web offers a space where anybody can transform from audience to performer …." Later in her article, she actually reverses the commercial songs to folk songs since people change lyrics as they please keeping the same melody. A form of music that is not necessarily meant to be massively distributed, only viewed online.
This article opened my eyes to what TikTok was really doing to the music industry. Not only it gives new artists a new chance to get into the mainstream thank to the audience, it actually overturns the system, redefining the elements of the music industry; the role of the audience, redefining the role of artists,… Does it only apply to the platform? When the platform is shaping a new kind of popular culture, its effect is already noticeable in the world.
The app offers a new relationship between the audience and music:
the re-mixes of the audience is not new but is spread thank to the platform as any other video app.
the audience changes lyrics to match a situation. Sometimes it creates more political, minorities representation type of lyrics. This is a segment more specific to TikTok.
the audience creates videos from the songs: the audience either uses assimilation, amplification, or disjunction process. A music representation in the hands of the audience can be as numerous as one's imagination.
Of course, this is not the first time the audience is creating content from existing work, but it is the first time it is massively done by non-professionals/the audience itself, increasing consumerism of music, folk music as well as commercial production.

You said music is very inspiring for you. Are there other things, that trigger ideas in you? Or inspire you to write? :)
Ohhh, good one. Thank you for that, I hope you brought time 😉
While music will always be the Alpha and the Omega for my inspiration (Shoutout to Hall & Oats, it’s always Thursday in space!) and the reason Tales of Taskforce Sol and I Became War For You actually exists, thinking about it just made me realize how many sources of inspiration I have.
Of course there’s the self-explanatory ones like things one experienced himself (visiting cities for example) or historical events, they’ll do their part. I do have a Corona-Virus Chapter for example.
Canon (Legends in Star Wars, all of them when it comes to Sailor Moon) and nods to it, are a big part as well. As well as headcanons (shoutout to @sailorheadcanons, the idea that some of the Senshi are not purely Japanese came from some HCs over there).
Then there’s fan art, from outfits to scenes they are one of my main sources as well. A beautiful piece of art I came upon lately for example inspirated me for the outline of the ending of Sequel Number Two.
Reading also inspires me a lot, as apart from the obvious Star Wars Legends Characters and Worldbuilding (thanks Wookieepedia as well!) a book can also spark an idea. The Rago Arc for example was very much inspired from a scene in the Corellian Trilogy books. Writing per se gets a lot of inspiration from fanfiction as well. I do get motivation to write from Poseidon’s Bounty for example.
I do have a Muse (actually two but i only talk about one) as well. I draw a lot of the sensuality and divinity of one of the female main characters from a certain Italian Diva in her younger years and she definitely will be the archetype for when there ever will be another sequel with middle-agged/ older characters.
Other Media (for example Games and Movies) have influence as well. I mean Sci-Fi per se has so many nods and even Cameos (Terminator or Saber Rider for example) in ToTFS. It’s also an Hommage to the whole Space-Western-Genre. But there’s more than that I draw from. Just lately i saw Tenet and there were some scenes I was like “Shit, I need stuff like that in IBWFY too”. Of course we already had lots of spy stuff and a nod to James Bond but the whole James Bond on Ampethamines Vibe of the movie catched me and I want to do another one. Although that chapter will see a different type of secret agent as our James Bond type hero will be a emerald-haired, 1,78cm tall Demigoddess with the body of a young Monica Bellucci and the Bond Girl will be a bearded antihero who’s way to unsubtle as spy but really good at blowing stuff up with superior fire power and turns our Jane Bond on not because he’s coming out of the sea in white speedos but with his talent as foster father in their little big defunctional family which also features two space lesbians, one of them an always cursing Brit who shares the same unhealthy drinking habits as bond boy. So, yeah. I do have tons of things I get inspiration from, and ToTFS is at least a love oath to music and two fandoms but probably even more and one to pop culture per se. Do I have fun putting all these sources together for my little, cracky Space-Opera-turned-Anti-War-Epos? Hell yeah!
