Marianne Williamson: Children are not just the future; they're the present manifesting potentiality. Nurturing them means more than just preparing them for what's to come—it's about recognizing the divine spark in each child here and now, and treating them with the dignity and respect they deserve.
Friedrich Nietzsche Ah, the child! A being of becoming, a nexus where both societal hopes and innate potentialities converge. They represent the Übermensch in embryo, the potential for the will to power to be channeled toward creation rather than destruction.
Alan Watts: Well stated. Yet, let us also be wary of imposing our own failed ideals onto them, for the child has his own destiny, his own will to power that should not be subjugated by the herd mentality or by collective fears and prejudices.
Marianne Williamson: So true. Empowering children means teaching them how to think, not what to think. It means fostering an environment where they can explore, question, and develop their own moral and intellectual faculties.
Friedrich Nietzsche: Yes, and in this quest for their own identity, they will undoubtedly confront the same existential abysses that have confounded humanity for ages. But each child also brings a fresh perspective, an untamed will, that can contribute to the ongoing project of human self-overcoming.
Alan Watts: I couldn't agree more. Our role is not to fill them with dogma but to provide them with the tools to navigate life's complexities. Their future—and ours—depends on the freedom to explore and the courage to confront the challenges that come their way.
Friedrich Nietzsche: In that sense, the child is not merely an inheritor of the past or a resident of the future but a dynamic participant in the eternal recurrence of the human drama. Their role in shaping the future should serve as a potent reminder of the weight and the promise that each new generation holds.
Marianne Williamson: Beautifully put. Recognizing children as the future should serve as a call to action for all of us—to create a world that not only they can be proud of, but one that is worthy of their innate wisdom and potential.

In our capitalist system, you can be jailed for a victimless action then used as a source of cheap slave labor for corporations.
In our capitalist system, if you're suicidal, you can be involuntarily committed to a hospital and forced to pay a massive medical bill.
In our capitalist system, corporations can price gouge, hinder repairs, and plan obsolescence, and you can't compete with them because they own the patent.
In our capitalist system, homeless people are arrested for loitering or panhandling.
Capitalism is not freedom. Not even close. Capitalism is tyranny of the rich.

Republican tyranny comes with a high price. Services to the elderly, the physically handicapped, and children were cut without warning. A right-wing group funded by oligarch backed Republican political foundations swept in without warning and launched a blitz campaign against books and woke agenda. They destroyed a county library system before anyone could mobilize against them.
Attacks on libraries and school boards are still ongoing everywhere. They have the backing of Republican think tanks funded by billionaires. Once the local MAGA agitators are fired up they descend on communities and often use threats and violence to get their way. Once they get a law is changed it’s almost impossible to restore equity.
Their stated written goal is total war against the US. They want to change everything they consider woke, helpful to the poor, elderly, and marginalized and “fill every position from dog catcher to president with a Republican.” This was the Bannon-Trump plan in 2016, it’s in Project 2025, and the Republican political foundations are all openly pressing for it.
The United States will be a literal theocratic dictatorship run by corporate oligarchs through fascist Republican tyrants. It’s not speculation or hysteria. It’s their literal plan written down and published for all to see.

reading about HOAs (homeowner's associations) in the USA completely destroyed any remaining belief I had they could have any claim to being "the land of the free"
Just reading an article about a couple that had to go to court because their HOA ordered them to change their lawn with native species to the typical suburban lawn. Or else they could face fines or even someone coming to mown their lawn without their consent. Insane.
This is the land of the free? some asshole telling you what to do in your own fucking house????
If I someone found myself living in your typical Usamerican suburb and some asshole tried to tell me what I could plant in MY FUCKING LAWN, I would instantly turn into a gun nut and yell FUERA DE MI PROPIEDAD MANGA DE MALANDRAS VAYAN A ROMPER LAS BOLAS A LA CONCHA DE TU HERMANA while shooting a shotgun in the air
They have traded the supposed tyranny of the state for a hundred petty corporate tyrants

THE DEATH OF CAPITALISM.
THE BIRTH OF???
Technofeudalism
- Yanis Varoufakis
An interesting idea for Socialists/Communists to think about as traditional Left/Right distinctions seem to be becoming more irrelevant and meaningless than ever before.
Part of this may be due to what Yanis Varoufakis is calling the "death of Capitalism" and the birth of "Technofeudalism."
Varoufakis, in his new book of the same name, argues that the rise today's tech giants came at a time of a complete lack of regulation and coupled with a corporate culture of greed and complete disregard for human life, encouraged and financed by cheap government capital flowing into a deregulated banking sector that funneled the money straight into the pockets of the same investors of Big Tech, Big Media, Big Pharma and the like. Essentially, these fiefdoms are warping the very modes of production and changing the power dynamics of the previous global capitalist world order.
Combined with a political system sold to the highest bidder, this has resulted in modern tech fiefdoms popping up throughout the world and global economy that are more powerful than the governments they control, that in theory at least, are supposed to control them.
So... we're slipping back into feudalism, and now a famous self-proclaimed Marxist Economist and academic leader has wrote an entire book dedicated to something I've been saying for two years now. And I'm an ordinary worker and two-time college drop out.
Strange world we live in 🤔

THE POLITICAL PRISONER PODCAST with JAKE LANG
"The Political Prisoner Podcast" With Jake Lang and Sponsored by The Gateway Pundit The Gateway Pundit Published September 7, 2022
https://rumble.com/v1izr6d-the-political-prisoner-podcast-with-jake-lang-and-sponsored-by-the-gateway-.html
The Gateway Pundit is pleased to announce “The Political Prisoner Podcast” with Jake Lang, sponsored by The Gateway Pundit live from solitary confinement.
Jake was nearly killed on January 6th when he was gassed and smothered in a huge pile of people after the Capitol Police attacked Trump supporters outside the US Capitol. While Jake was buried under the pile, Capitol police continued to push protesters on top of him. He was next to Rosanne Boyland who was killed by police when they trampled her and pushed Trump protesters on top of her. He also saw Philip Anderson’s limp body laying next to Rosanne Boyland. Jake was able to pull Anderson to safety and save his life.
There was never any justice for Rosanne and today, Lang languishes in jail awaiting his trial.
[With so many murderers, and fbi antifa agents being let out of jail prematurely, the judicial branch who are bought and paid for appear to have a certain predilection to fill the cells just in order to have something to do - they’ve been painted to be ‘insurrectionists’, after all, by the halls now so filled with communist sympathizers in socialist clothing.]

It's interesting, in the end the only reason Desert Bluffs ends up coming off Worse than Night Vale is because it's so corporate, because it poorly tries to hide its teeth behind empty smiling bliss instead of Night Vale's incompetent Eldritch tyranny.

Once dreamed of as a galactic empire built on scientific understanding and secular thought, the millennia following the Emperor’s death instead saw a slow decay into mysticism, madness and theocratic fascism, with entire planets given over to religious worship of the now-God-Emperor’s corpse, and any attempt at scientific advancement punishable by death. At the top of this rotting pile perch the High Lords of Terra, who maintain the Imperial Creed in His name through iron-fisted control and the enthusiastic application of genocide. They select only the most loyal recruits to rise through the ranks of the power structure, resulting in iterative, stagnant dilution and a violent aversion to outside threats — a blind adherence to dogma and a refusal to confront the reality of what they have become condemning them to a grim future indeed.
After nearly 40 years of trying to steer their flagship Warhammer 40,000 battle-barge towards Profitus Maxima, it’s hard to avoid the conclusion that Games Workshop has fallen into the same downward spiral of ideological rot. Each new edition of the game feels increasingly recursive and more corporate than the one before, with all nuance carefully buffed out in order to deliver the most bombastic, shallow ‘grimdark’ caricatures possible. Challenging ideas and radical thought are strongly discouraged, with dissenters purged from their employment, and corporate gags slapped over the mouths of those who would speak out against oppression and tyranny. Indeed, so thoroughly dead is the idea of Warhammer 40,000 as “satire” that the completely fictional in-universe timeline itself is not safe, with entire books being rewritten and republished in order to ensure a bulletproof internal chronology of a setting which its creator cautioned that we “should not take too seriously”.

"With the Zionist regime as its proxy, the US government is pursuing a policy of attempting to crush the entire population of Gaza with the belief that this will inflict a strategic defeat on the regional Axis of Resistance. This strategy represents what could be Washington’s final bid to reassert American dominance over West Asia and dismantle governing forces indigenous to the region.
When we talk of the collective West, we are really discussing a tyrannical empire with its headquarters in Washington DC. It should be clear by now that the European nations are not independent in any meaningful sense, and the interests of their governing officials are those of the corporate elites. The Israelis are also in this fold and, evidently, hold considerable power through their extensive multi-national lobbying campaigns, yet in this case have become the convenient proxy force and attack dog to prove a point to the Global South.
If one is to look into mega-corporations in the West, the likes of Vanguard and Blackrock to name a few, it quickly becomes obvious that their interests are inherently intertwined as they quite literally own each other and are therefore working for their own collective success as mega-corporations. Why talk about mega-corporations when assessing US foreign policy in West Asia? Because 'The West' as we know it is no more than a collection of mega-corporations to begin with. Its democratic elections have been revealed to be shams, as all viable candidates work for the donor class and not the people who vote for them. Even the experts that Western politicians trust to shape policy for them are directly financed by the same corporate elites, with every major think tank that helps frame the opinions of advisors being on the same payroll. ... Instead of viewing the policies of Western nations as representing any kind of desire to serve the interests of the working people that reside there, we must remove the notion that any of these governments work on behalf of the populations that reside in these countries. Instead, they must be viewed in the same manner that Arab regimes like Saudi Arabia and the UAE are, in that they may occasionally take their populations into consideration but ultimately serve an agenda that works to the benefit of the despotic ruling elites. In the case of the Western empire, they pursue global dominance and seek to undermine indigenous self-determination, because this represents the single greatest threat to their tyranny. " Robert Inlakesh for Al Mayadeen, "US Empire believes that defeating Gaza is defeating Axis of Resistance," 14 March 24
