Eye of the Needle
Eye of the Needle
It's like being buried at the bottom of a very deep, very dark well. Castiel has lived enough, sinned enough, for the weight of his mistakes to pin him flat in the darkness. It's shame and guilt and grief and each memory anchors him with a razor specificity, there in the lightless silence. This is how it works, he supposes. His own thoughts will devour him alive until he sips oblivion by choice, out of sheer desperation, and the void will know peace at last.
But that was the bargain. He took that upon himself. His choice. Choice, he thinks, and would laugh if he still had a mouth to laugh with. Freedom is a length of rope.
Then, after what could have been many eternities or just one, a pang of agony comes that isn't his own.
*
Or: the one where Castiel saves himself.
Dean/Cas, 4.5k words. Canon compliant through 15x18.

It's a judder of pain and terror and grief, shot through with a raw longing that's as forked and intricate as an electric discharge—and incredibly, impossibly, in this place where Castiel should be abandoned to nothing but his own sorrows—none of it is his. He knows it isn't his own because he knows whose it is; because he knows the feel of that soul better than he knows anything else in God's creation.
Dean.
He thinks he has hands, maybe. Knees. He crawls on them.
The void claws at him, lashes at him with the torrent of its emptiness. But it's weaker than it's been before—rattled and off-kilter, like something blazed through and hammered away at all of its foundations. Jarred the seams loose enough for something to slip in, or out.
There's light, maybe. So maybe he has eyes to see it, too. He drags himself toward it, a concatenation of tiny, painful eternities. The shadow laps at his face, dredges through his past like so much riverbed silt. Tells him there's nothing for him out there.
Don't you want to rest? It comes as a coaxing hiss. He has ears, he supposes, if he's hearing it. A skull for its sibilant whisper to echo off of.
Castiel thinks of oblivion, of letting go, of the void's warped measure of peace. Weighs it against the freckles he placed on a body, once, when he rebuilt it from moldering scraps in a pine box six feet under the earth. It's not even close. No.
You made a bargain, the Empty snarls.
The light is right there, a knife blade's edge of it, a crack in the darkness. Castiel levers himself toward it. It's faint and washed-out like a dying fluorescent bulb, but it's enough. Castiel did make a bargain, yes, but he's bent and broken more than bargains, before. He'll let the Empty take what it wants from him—whatever it wants, as much as it wants, not all of him is going to fit through that pale and flickering rent in the void anyway—but he's not going to stay.
If you leave, storms the shadow, with increasing fury, you will wish you had stayed, and become nothing. Because out there, you will be nothing too.
Castiel finds he has a mouth, now. "Bite me," he tells the Empty, and tumbles through the rip in the dark.

ooh then I guess I'll fill in some of the void! How do you think Jack feels after all of this, after being told by Michael that Dean doesn't love him as much, after using his powers via soul chipping, and being sternly (but caringly) by Cas that it could have disastrous consequences on himself?
HECK I HAVE ALREADY HURT MYSELF TALKING TO YOU IN THE CHATTYBUBBLE ABOUT THIS.
Did this not have massive 12.10 feelings, when Dean explained he’s not mad, he’s WORRIED for Cas?
And that was… right at the beginning of this whole Cosmic Consequences nightmare, ONE episode after they got handed Cas’s Cosmic Consequences sentence, and TWO episodes after Jack was conceived… HECK. WE’VE EFFECTIVELY TURNED THE WHEEL BACK TO THE BEGINNING ON THIS PARTICULAR LOOP HAVEN’T WE?! D:
Because now Cas is passing on that same bit of advice to Jack, who’s like… IT WAS A REFLEX! I COULDN’T NOT DO THE THING IF IT COULD SAVE THE PEOPLE I LOVE! and just… that’s exactly what Cas did when he killed Billie in 12.09…
and now we have Billie back reminding Dean that messing with the natural order of the multiverse would have Cosmic Consequences (in so many words), to the point where the hundreds of potential Deaths of Dean Winchester from 13.05 are now all identical… Michael breaks free and murders the world… or there’s one other option.
She handed him that book and essentially told him it was his choice whether he cleaned up his mess or fell in line with fate.
But does Dean have it in him to write an entirely new story? And what part will Jack play in all of this?
Because Jack already knows about Cas’s Deal With The Empty. What will they ALL be willing to risk to save each other, and for love, and for happiness… and what can the rest of them live with as a result?
Heck. THERE IS SO MUCH.
there, that’s basically just longer-format yelling of all the stuff I already yelled at you :P

Michael looks at Jack and sees three tiny fledglings with newly growing wings that can't carry them yet, young graces that are still getting shaped and all the cuteness in the universe that enables them to make big bro do anything for them.
He teaches Jack how to fly properly. After all this time, he is delighted that he gets to throw another little angel off a cloud and tell them to think fast again. 😂 Of course, he carries Jack everywhere for a week straight and holds him up by his arms under Jack's stomach in their next few flying practice sessions kinda like how one teaches a toddler to float. Much like Gabriel, Jack wiggles around and risks falling a few times.
He gets to teach Jack about the inner workings of the universe and how to control them. Everything cosmic is presented but much like how Raphael fell in love with simple lightning, Jack decides he likes puffy snow and the fact that he can make it snow when he uses his powers then get to build a superb snowman!
He grooms Jack's wings. It is the first time for the little one and just like Lucifer, he claims he wants Michael to do it for him every single time from then on. He loves slowly falling asleep to Michael's careful, soothing touch around the base of his young wings again much like Lucifer.
Jack is very small. His trueform is so tiny, very alike to Gabriel's. They used to compare a fledgling Gabe with all the smallest animals and Gabe created dinosaurs in a tantrum. Jack's tantrums ends with cartoons coming alive and walking around the bunker, trashing the place as they play.
Jack has a healing touch. He obviously has talent on the matter like Raphael. Michael teaches him how to treat wounds on grace and angel wings like he taught Raphael before God made her the healer. Jack gets to stick hot-wheels band aids on everyone that day.
Jack is too scared of Chuck. Michael sees him trembling because he remembers being dead. He finds himself hugging Jack close almost too tightly and refusing to let go no matter who tries to convince him to. He promises Jack that God won't ever get to hurt him. He promises that Jack won't ever need to run away from home. He promises that he will understand Jack like those Pagans and be by his side as he goes through all that pain. He promises that he won't ever let Jack lose his faith or hope. He promises that he will never stop seeing Jack. He promises that he will always appreciate Jack staying with him and always support him in turn. He promises that he believes Jack and knows it's all a game of God's. He promises that he won't take Jack to Hell on God's order. He promises that he will always choose Jack, stand by Jack and face God along with Jack. He promises that he will always be there and that no one will tear them apart. He promises that they won't ever be enemies. He promises that he will walk off that chessboard at the very beginning. Jack cries. It wakes Michael out of the daze. Michael cries too.
Michael watches Star Wars. Michael tries nougat, secretly allowing Jack a second bar. They play games on Jack's laptop. They go to the playground and play at the sandbox together. They get storm trooper sheets for Jack's bed and reorganize all his trinkets from the hunts he went to. Michael listens to the story of each one. They solve a case just the two of them that week. Michael gets to know Jack. He learns to love Jack. Maybe someday, he will get his three little angels back but right now he has Jack. He wants to be there with and for Jack. This little one doesn't have to fill anyone's void. Jack is perhaps the cutest child ever. He is well-mannered, a little stubborn, not that good of an artist though he is a very enthusiastic one with an hour long coloring sprees etc. Most importantly, he is Jack. Michael loves him as he is.

TFW: Keep Fighting for the Second Chance
TFW meta. Meta spec. 15x18 meta
Hello again, gah, i can't stop shaking but, i will try to focus on this...
Okay, if you want to read my Destiel meta, i know you do, is in this link.
Now, let's start this...
Billie had a plan B, but TFW will have their second chance
When the first plan didn't work, because the Winchesters decided not to do it, Billie sent "the bomb" to the Empty, because the Empty was one altering the order too, another cosmic creature that could ruin her plans again. She was willing to do whatever was needed to keep things in order, and everyone in their places, where they belong.
But this is again, THE SECOND CHANCE, TFW will have to defeat Chuck, as I repeated in previous analysis and also, will be Dean the one maybe resetting things to defeat the chaotic god, helped by Jack. Why? Because Death said it : YOU ARE STILL USEFUL. After reading the new ending of Chuck, which, Sam couldn't read. Damn.
We regroup
Sam showed again that he is the leader here. The one with the head focused, the one trying to find another way, always researching. So I'm sure he will be the one searching for the second chance against God.
Tumblr media
Gif credit @jellydeans
The chat between brothers in which Dean recognized he couldn't stop, when he was with his gun against Sam, was a sign of Chuck's script, but is like using Dean's own desperation and anger against him, a powerful way to make him follow the script.
I feel strange
Tumblr media
Gif credit @jellydeans
So beautiful when I saw Castiel talking with his kid. Jack is feeling strange because EVERYTHING IS OVER, THE PLAN, HIS DESTINY. Which I really believe is not truth.
But Castiel comforts his child, 'We care about you because you are you, not because you are useful.' And again, this is like something that thrilled me, why? Because it felt like another foreshadow. Yes. Because I feel these are the words about to come at the end, i really hope Sam and Dean say these words to Cas too.
And why Jack killed a plant without with his touch? It was a parallel to Amara in episode 11x23, remember? She killed flowers. Why is this important to say?
Because Jack has the same powers Amara has. Remember Chuck saying I can't make it without you to his sister? Because she is the only one who can reset the world? Well, hello, Jack can do that too!
So now that everyone is gone, is Jack the one who can save them all, helped by Dean who will press the reset button.
Gas-n-Sip, where angels became humans
Another cute scene was Sam giving something useful to do to his child. Because he can read all over the Nougat Boy's face that sadness and fear. So, let's make this kid drive the car.
As a symbolism of what I think will be the ending, let's Jack to guide us through a new world, to be the new driver. To fulfill his destiny once for all.
And because you only get the Empty if you summon him...
Another clue to my spec about Dean rescuing Cas from the Empty, because we have that spell Nick used to open a gate to the Empty and drag Lucifer out of it. Yes yes, the Destiel dark mirror, was a guide to our future 13x20, when Dean will summon the Empty and rescue his angel.
But also, Death is dead? Whoa, that was unexpected, but, let's see how TFW kill every cosmic evil creature. Heheheh. You are next, Chuck and the Empty!
To Conclude:
I know we are only yelling DESTIEL DESTIEL DESTIEL AND I WANT MY CAS BACK, but there was a little things to talk about now.
The spoilers from next episode shows us an Apocalyptic world, just Sam, Dean and Jack standin, and one dog, but, is the image of devastation , is Chuck's script.
They're gonna have a second chance, as I predicted, and this time the reset of the world ofr a situation will play a pivotal role in the next episode.
And then Dean will rescue Cas in 15x20, but this is not the Destiel meta hahahaah.
Love you all! See you soon!

The Fourth Birthday
https://archiveofourown.org/works/31380530 A piece I wrote for Jack's birthday. All fluff. Dean remembered the last time, and while he'd been proud of his achievement, the timing really hadn't been great. He'd not been in the right headspace – how could he – with Chuck the cosmic dickbag breathing down their necks but this time was different. He glanced at Cas. Everything was different. Cas smiled back at him. “I gave Jack the book; he was excited, said he'd start reading it right away.” “Is it gonna keep him occupied?” Bending down, Cas grabbed a bowl and placed it on the counter. “I think so, History of the Zombies is almost a thousand pages.” Tying off the apron, Dean was ready. “Should I have ordered a hat? Damn it! Next time, I'll order a hat.” “Please don't,” Sam said as he entered the kitchen. Dean frowned. “Hey, what are you doing here? You're supposed to be on lookout!” Sam shook his head. “Dean, Jack hasn't moved for over ten minutes. I offered him a nougat bar and he didn't even hear me speak. You'll be fine. And Eileen is keeping him company.” Dean pointed a finger at Sam. “If he walks in here, it's on you for ruining the kid's birthday and my surprise. And way to go dumping your mission on Eileen. Now, since you're here, make yourself useful. Go grab some powdered sugar, butter, milk and, uh, vanilla.” “Cas is here, boss him around.” Like that would work, Dean thought but he didn't say it out loud. “He's busy. And you're my little brother, it comes with the territory that I should boss you around.” Sam crossed his arms. “Oh, he's busy? With what?” Dean walked up to Cas and hiked a finger through his belt loop. He pulled Cas towards him until their bodies were flush. “With this.” Grabbing Cas' chin, Dean slowly leaned in for a kiss. He coaxed Cas' mouth open and his heart sang when their lips met. Cas still tasted of heavy rain and storms, lightning and dark oceans and Dean could kiss him until he drowned. Cas grabbed him by the neck as if he wanted to meld them together. With a loud bang on the counter, Sam declared that he was done with his task. “You're contaminating the workspace.”

Tag 9 people you want to get to know better💖
Tagged by: @parantajanpolku thank you!
Favourite colour: Light yellow/tan/beige/sand colour aka the colour of the universe ("cosmic latte"). And grey of course, I have an entire sideblog about grey: @grey-in-color
Currently reading: An ebook called Kahdeksantoista runoniekkaa (18 poemwriters) which is about Finnish folk poets from the 1800s. So the chapters do a little bio on the person and then give some samples of the poems that have been preserved. I'm reading it because I was going through the available books on the Biblio-app (access to infinite ebooks with my library card!!) and I was adding things to my to-read list and accidentally clicked borrow book instead of add to list, so then I went "okay I guess I'll read this one now." So far I particularly liked Paavo Korhonen's poem about the letters of the Finnish alphabet, and the observation he made that the Lord's Prayer in Finnish does not have a single letter R. (He ofc means the translation of his time, where it uses the word velalliset instead of rikkoneet - the current translation does have one R).
Last series: Ummm, I'm gonna be honest with you: I don't have time to watch things. So it's either Revolutionary Girl Utena several months ago, or Steven Universe of which I watch the occasional episode every once and a while as research for my AU @steven-universe-renaissance
Last movie: I genuinely have no idea what it possibly could have been x_X It has been so long since I've had time to watch anything. But I will have more time starting December! Two whole days off! I will have a five day working week like some kind of a normal person! :O :O
Sweet, savoury or spicy: Sweet :9
Craving: Okay I will tell you, but because this is in English I will first explain to you what it is. So, sometime in 1800s a Finnish chocolate manufacturer traveled to Vienna (other languages call that city Wien) and brought a recipe for a kind of nougat candy with him, and the company still makes this chocolate with that recipe. And it is super good, and it also happens to be totally vegan by accident. And it's called... Wiener Nougat >_< So I hope you understand why I can't say out loud that I am craving Wiener Nougat because ffs with this name x_X
Currently working on: At work I am drawing some maps for new permanent exhibitions (Finnish War and Porvoo Diet of 1809), at the other work I am digitising museum objects (you can see them at loviisankaupunginmuseo.finna.fi !) Next summer I will have two summer exhibitions so I'm writing and brainprocessing them and also doing some crochet tests for one of them. I should be finishing a paperdoll for the museum, which I will hopefully finish in December once work lets off a little. A grant application for the art association I'm in. And my Steven Universe AU, though lately I've been doing more future planning (and drawing fusions >_> ) than making the next episode...

Finale? What finale?
That was just the Empty torturing a wayward gay angel... Here’s what really happened after Cas confessed his LOVE to Dean Winchester and was taken to Super Mega Hell...
Unedited, unproofread, unbeta’d- just pure, unadulterated, whiskey-and-rage-fueled fix-it fic. Ps, El Sol cerveza is the official beverage of fake-dream-worlds, and therefore the entire narrative of the finale is sus.
Love Lift Us Up (Where We Belong)
Cas slumbered, but fitfully. Oblivion plagued him with nightmares.
Some dreams replayed memories, even of memories that were not strictly his: one by one, everyone he loved torn apart at an atomic level, rent, poofed to dust. His sleeping self watched on a loop as Bobby, Charlie, Donna, nameless others fell, obliterated.
He saw Michael slay Lucifer, the foregone conclusion so many times delayed.
He saw Michael betray the Winchesters. But how? Why? Michael had changed, hadn’t he? Adam had changed him. Even asleep, Cas knew this to be true.
He watched Jack, his loving and beloved son, fulfilling the promise Kelly had known he held. Jack bringing peace to the world, restoring balance, returning all life on earth to its rightful places. Cas was certain that this dream was true. He felt Jack’s presence, unmistakable lightness and goodness and purity.
The Empty roiled violently, rippling the fabric of its realm.
The dreams changed again to nightmares.
Dean, alone. Sam, alone. Eileen, alone.
The hunters who had died were again whole and alive, walking the earth as if Chuck’s poisonous animosity had never snuffed them. And yet they were all isolated from one another. Oh, the younger children clung to their parents, but the parents drifted from one another.
Charlie, alone. Donna, alone. Claire, alone.
The loneliness of the hunters infected the denizens of the Empty, and the Empty smiled in its sleep.
Cas dreamed that he watched Dean dying, an ignominious death in a ramshackle barn. He felt a wave of revulsion, of jealousy, like he did in another barn, once upon a time, witnessing a kiss between Anna and Dean. What had he felt then, way back when, when feelings were still so new and frightening? Had he been in love then?
The scene repeated, again and again, a horrible parody of what should have been. A confession of love, two foreheads touching, hands held over Dean’s heart. The scene replayed a hundred, a thousand times, Cas viewing from the vantage of the beloved, but Cas never could see who received Dean’s love. He only knew it wasn’t him. He could only watch through someone else’s eyes, hearing and seeing and feeling with intense loathing what should have been his.
Then Dean was dead.
The scene faded again. Cas saw Sam, living on, without Dean, without Jack, without Eileen, without hunters or hunting. In the space of a human heartbeat, he was married, raising a human child, a son. In another heartbeat, he was old, then dying, then greeting his brother in heaven.
He felt again a tug as if Jack were near. A faint glow.
Cas woke. Two amber eyes shone above him.
“Castiel,” said Jack, “something is wrong. I need your help.”
Cas scrambled to his feet. “The dreams? They were real?”
Jack couldn’t know what Cas had seen, and yet he shook his head and assured him that, no, those were the Empty playing tricks. “But reality is in danger. Heaven and Hell are out of balance. Heaven’s brightest are all here, when they should be up there. We’ll have to wake them.”
The Empty howled somewhere far off, something that sounded like, “Let me sleep!”
Jack stepped briskly in the inky blackness, tapping here and there, naming sleeping entities. “Hannah, you are needed. Duma, awaken. Gabriel. Michael. Raphael, your services are humbly requested.”
Soon, the din of awakened angels, archangels, seraphs, and reapers had summoned a furious cosmic entity of entropy and oblivion. “KEEP. IT. DOWN,” it hissed.
“And what will you do if we don’t?” Castiel asked, raising an eyebrow to the Empty, who stood before them in the guise of Meg Masters, circa 2009.
The Empty stamped its foot. “I took you in. You all died the death of immortals, a death that cannot be rewarded nor punished, but I took you in! And all I ask for is quiet!”
“But why?” Cas continued. “You despise us. Why do you trap us here?”
The Empty hesitated. “They dream,” it replied. “They dream, and so I dream.”
“We suffer nightmares of your making.”
“No-oo. The dreams are yours.”
“You enjoy the nightmares?”
“No.” The Empty faltered. “They wake me up. You stir, I stir; I must sleep!”
Jack spoke softly to the Empty. “Then expel them.”
“Expel them? What, just set them all free to commit chaos?”
“Just the dreamers.”
The Empty seemed to calculate the price of granting the nephilim’s wish. “That would be almost all of the angels and a number of powerful demons. They might return, clomping into my haven and disturbing my sleep.”
“No,” Castiel put in, his eyes lit with a wry smile. “If you expel them, they will be forever banned from your realm. They become subject to Purgatory, not Oblivion.”
Jack smiled at his father. “Exactly!” He turned again to the Empty. “So you’ll do it?” he asked brightly.
The Empty scowled. It nodded once, as if making a decision.
The world went white, then faded to reveal a sunny meadow. Roly-poly bumblebees flitted between fat heads of purple clover. A nest of chickadees chirped. Cicadas droned. A red kite soared above them, the string held by someone a long way off. Cas’ face softened, as if recalling a long-lost memory.
It hardened again as he sensed something amiss. “Jack,” he frowned, “the walls between the human heavens are failing.”
Jack nodded. “Yes, which is why we need more angelic energy. But watch.” He drew a small window in the air with his index finger. He pushed the cut-out, revealing an adjoining heaven belonging to a woman. Cas recognized her as the mother of the man with the kite. Her heaven contained a meadow: the same meadow that surrounded them, rather than the manicured lawn Cas knew from the man’s original heaven.
“They can co-exist,” he breathed.
“Yes. We can break these barriers and open Heaven. It doesn’t need to be a prison. We can fix it.” Jack grinned again, that same old smile he’d worn in life, when he learned the taste of nougat or the softness of a bunny rabbit.
The sight warmed Cas. The summer sky glowed just a bit brighter. “Tell me what to do, my son.”
***
For six days, as Heaven measures time, the angels, the archangels, and the nephilim worked. First, negotiating a truce with Hell and its imperious but righteous Queen, and then building a Heaven for all. On the seventh day, they rested from their labors. They gathered to watch the humans on earth for a little while. Almost no time had passed: the humans had had just enough time to recollect that they had watched their loved ones vanish; those unfamiliar with the supernatural had quickly forgotten the phenomenon, as well. The hunters in the warded hideout had had just enough time to embrace their newly un-vanished friends.
Sam was texting Eileen, only to remember that he still had her phone, abandoned on the sidewalk mid-text. He laughed at himself. “We have to drive to Eileen’s house.”
Dean lay hunched over the table, carving a word into the polished wood alongside the Winchester family initials. Thus far, it read, “CAST,” and he was just starting on the I. “Pack us up- I wanna finish this, but I can be ready in twenty.” They watched as he finished his tribute to Castiel. He put two fingers to his lips, then pressed the finger pads against the grooves.
Cas itched to know how Dean meant the gesture.
Dean hastily scratched the name “JACK” into the table, too. “You done good, kid,” he murmured, patting the letters as he might once have patted Jack on the shoulder.
The angels drifted back to their tasks. Cas stayed, watching his friends. His family. He followed their movements towards Eileen. He witnessed the tearful reunion.
Sam started sniffling long before Dean pulled up behind Eileen’s little red car. He stepped over the sidewalk, where he had first absorbed her death, and a sob escaped him. In a few strides of his long legs, he was at the door. His hand shook as he reached for the doorbell. The second phone in his pocket vibrated: her doorbell notification. How would she know that he was there? He clapped the knocker, stamped his feet.
The door opened. Eileen. A vision, a sight for even Cas’ sore eyes. Sam was overwhelmed. He croaked her name, and she was in his arms. Where she belonged.
Back at the curb, Dean turned his face from the lovers. He fiddled with his phone, but who could he call?
Cas heard Dean think his name. He felt a pang of longing, but it wasn’t his own. Or rather, it matched his own. Echoed his, merged with his, swelling the aching feeling until he felt full to bursting with yearning for something he thought he could never have. Had thought he couldn’t have. Now, he wondered.
He called to his son.
Jack appeared beside him. He followed Cas’ gaze. “It’s time for you to return to him,” he mused.
“Yes, but,” Cas tripped over the words he wanted to say and couldn’t bear to say.
Fortunately, Jack understood. Without another word, he took Cas’ face in his hands. For a moment, their eyes glowed brightly, then Castiel’s dimmed to their customary shade of blue. When Jack’s golden aura had faded as well, he pulled away from Cas. He glanced down at the slim vial now slung around his neck by a black cord. The substance within sparkled, swirled, its hue a dazzling, electric blue-white. It looked like lightning in a bottle.
Cas swept his son into a crushing embrace. “Thank you,” he wept.
“You can always come home,” Jack told him.
Cas pulled back. “No. Where I’m going is home.” He smiled through the tears rushing down his cheek. “Goodbye, Jack. I love you.”
He rather felt than heard Jack’s reply, as he crossed from the celestial plane to the mortal realm. He stood now on that same sidewalk. Far to his right, Sam lifted Eileen, carrying her bridal-style into her home, letting the door slam behind them. To his left, a long black car. He gripped the passenger door handle, pulled it open. The hinges squeaked. He folded himself inside before turning to the driver.
Dean looked every bit as awed as Cas felt. This was right.
Before he could say anything, even so much as a simple “Hello, Dean,” he found himself in Dean’s arms. Where he belonged.

Time Together Changes Everything
This was written for @idreamofplaid Thanks For The Memories Challenge.  It was inspired by scenes form Supernatural Season 13 episodes Patience and The Big Empty and by my love for the relationship between Sam and Jack.
Characters:  Sam Winchester, Jack Kline, Dean Winchester
Words: 2,113
Warnings:  None that I could think of.  Pure fluff.
A/N Thanks to @fangirlxwritesx67 for reading and encouraging and to @thoughtslikeaminefield for beta read and suggestions for improvement.
Summary: Dean is angry.  Jack is afraid of Dean and of his own powers.  Sam is trying to keep himself and everyone else together.  Someone has to be the adult in the bunker. Who knew trying to raise a Nephilim would be so difficult?
With Cas dead and Mary gone, life in the bunker was very uncomfortable.  Truth be told, uncomfortable was too small a word to describe the atmosphere.  Charged, hostile, despairing. Those were more accurate descriptions. Everyone who remained had been sent reeling.  The world had spun off its axis and no one had time to adjust to the new trajectory.
Dean was mourning his best friend, and his mother, and was caught up in blaming the bunker’s newest resident for his loss. Jack was feeling alone and frightened.  Everything was new and terrifying to him, including his own powers. And Sam, Sam was just trying to keep it together.
He had lost his friend and mother -- and, God, it hurt!  But he was convinced that Jack was not a monster and knew that someone had to look after him. So, in one of the greatest ironies of all time,  Sam chose to step up and protect the son of Lucifer, which included helping Jack learn how to control his powers and use them for good.
Training was not going well. Jack had been trying his hardest to please Sam by making a pencil levitate.  Sam had been trying his best to be patient and not pressure Jack. He knew Jack was scared. Sam was frustrated though, and felt he was doing everything wrong.  He had no real experience with kids. And, even though Sam knew he did the best he could, his own father was not exactly a role model. Sam was worried he would not be an adequate parent for any child, let alone for a Nephilim. Just the thought of it was overwhelming.
Sam wished he could get Dean on board for some much needed help, but Dean was convinced Jack was evil and would turn on them as soon as he had the opportunity.  Dean had gone so far as to tell Jack he would be the one to kill him if he went dark side. Sam understood that his brother’s first response to any strong, uncomfortable emotion was anger. He knew this was part of Dean’s grieving process, but his brooding and glaring at Jack was not helping the situation.
The day everything changed was the day Jack blew up at Sam and fled to his room.  Sam found him sitting in the corner in tears. Sam knew what it was to feel like a disappointment. He was mortified to be the cause of Jack’s tears.
Sam sat next to Jack on the floor and bumped his shoulder to get the boy’s attention. In the gentlest voice possible, Sam said “I’m sorry for pushing so hard, Jack.  I forget that you’re just a kid. I want you to know that whether you get a handle on your powers or not, you are not a disappointment. Your mom believed in you. Cas believed in you.  And I believe in you.”
By this time, Jack had turned so he could look at Sam, his face so open and hopeful that Sam found himself close to tears. “OK,” Jack said.” I’m ready to try again.”  “Great!” Sam replied. “But let’s have a little fun first, take a break.”
Sam wasn’t really sure what would be fun for a Nephilim. Truth be told, he wasn’t certain what would be fun for a child. Sam thought about things he had liked to do as a child. He remembered that most of his favorite things involved fantasy of some kind.  He didn’t think he should resort to playing Batman and Robin or soldiers with Jack. He decided to start introducing Jack to the world of Star Wars, figuring that would at least be interesting for him.
He left Jack in his room with a laptop and Clone Wars. When he checked back a few hours later, he saw that Jack had not moved off his bed and was still working his way through the episodes.  Sam asked, ”Hey, how’s it going?” Jack looked up and replied, “Good. I’m enjoying it. I’m not too fond of Anakin, though.”  Sam laughed when he heard this. He was taking this as an indication that Jack was not going to go all Darth Vader on the world.  At Jack’s questioning look, Sam smiled and said, “I’ll explain it to you another time.” Jack just nodded and went back to his viewing.
Sam left to make Jack something to eat and ran into Dean in the kitchen. He was still smiling when he said, “So get this. Jack doesn’t like Anakin Skywalker. Dude, that’s a good thing, right?”  Dean didn’t really answer but he actually smiled. Sam chose to see this as another good sign. Maybe the ice around Dean was starting to thaw and he would begin to warm up to Jack.
Jack really seemed to enjoy the animated series so Sam downloaded the movies for him, starting, of course, with the original one featuring Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.  While Jack watched, Sam returned to the library to do more research on Nephilim.
Thinking about Star Wars and his own childhood had triggered some not so great memories, like how much he disliked being left alone to entertain himself when Dean and his father went on hunts.  Those memories made him realize he was doing the same thing to Jack. Sam might not know the best way to teach Jack to use his powers, but he could spend time with him and show Jack what it was like to be human.
From that day on, Sam made a point of spending time with Jack and introducing him to what he called “the human experience.” He listed what he considered essentials and set himself the goal of checking at least one thing off the list every day.
Sam was aware that Jack was too small to wear any of Dean’s clothes.  And his own clothes certainly would not fit him. So clothes shopping moved to the top of the list.
Sam never paid much attention to clothes but he found that he actually enjoyed helping Jack find things to wear that he would like and that would feel comfortable. One of their most successful shopping excursions netted Jack a new “favorite” hoodie and a pair of sneakers with Velcro, both of which quickly became part of his daily wardrobe.
Grocery shopping was not quite as successful.  Jack discovered he liked candy, sugary cereal, and just about anything sweet.  Sam tried to introduce him to all sorts of fruits and vegetables. Jack would try everything but nothing beat nougat and Sam would always catch him trying to sneak sweets into the grocery cart.
Sam was aware that Jack’s grocery preferences contributed to Dean’s warming up to him.  Dean would never take Jack shopping, but whenever Dean went on a supply run, Sam saw that a handful of candy bars and a couple boxes of sugary cereal mysteriously made it into the bunker.
Dean couldn’t help noticing that Jack looked up to Sam and that Sam looked happier when he was doing things with Jack. One day he commented, “Dude, I’m glad to see you looking like less of a sad sack.”  Sam gave Dean the patented eye roll and said, “Yeah, I think things are getting better.” Sam knew better than to push Dean so he just smiled to himself and let it drop.
Hunting was the family business, so, of course, Sam taught Jack about monsters and the lore.  He took Jack out to walk around a cemetery and explained how EMF worked. He let Jack read his hunting journal and some of the notes he kept about monsters he and Dean had encountered.
Sam stayed away from the topic of Lucifer as much as possible.  He knew Jack had questions. Jack finally came out and asked, “Is my father a monster?” Sam answered honestly, ”Yes, Jack, he is. And someday I’ll tell you more about him and why I know he is evil.  But Jack, that does not mean you will be evil. You have a choice and I believe you will make the right one.”
After that, Sam was always very careful to make sure Jack knew he and Dean did not see him as a monster. He believed that Jack trusted that Sam saw him as a real person and not just some “cosmic entity” with potentially useful powers.  He knew Jack was still unsure about Dean, especially after Dean’s “cosmic can opener” crack. Sometimes Jack had bad dreams and he would go to find Sam. He would always ask, “Is Dean going to kill me?’ And Sam always replied, “No. I won’t let that happen.”
Jack’s nightmares became less frequent.  One morning he came to Sam and said ”I don’t think Dean plans to kill me anytime soon.” Sam recognized this as real progress and decided to plan a Lord of The Rings movie marathon to celebrate. However, before the marathon could begin, Sam decided Jack needed one more lesson.  Sam wanted to show Jack the failsafe weapon to be deployed when trying to get Dean to do anything. Sam left Jack practicing his puppy dog eyes in the mirror and went to find Dean. Sam used his own puppy dog eyes on his brother and Dean agreed to join them in watching the first movie.
Midway through the movie, Jack asked ,“Aren’t people supposed to have snacks when they’re watching a movie?” and Sam watched Jack unleash his version of the pleading eyes on Dean.  Sam smirked as he watched Dean jump up to go to the kitchen, saying “I’m on it. Popcorn and nachos coming right up. Anybody need another drink?” By the time the credits rolled on the last film, all three were devouring a Dean made “hobbit second breakfast” of waffles, bacon, and a veggie omelet for Sam.
The next day, Jack proudly announced, “I found a case for you.”   Dean surprised Sam by inviting Jack to come with them on the hunt.  It turned out to be a simple salt-and-burn and didn’t require any use of special powers.  Jack showed he was able to listen and followed Sam’s every direction. And Sam knew Jack’s willingness to do the grave digging won him points with Dean.
Jack’s full acceptance into the Winchester family became apparent to Sam the day after they returned  to the bunker. Sam noticed that Dean had begun calling Jack “kid” and he immediately recognized what that meant.  Any lingering doubt Sam may have had disappeared when Dean began teasing Jack about his hair.
Dean said “Hey, kid.  You’re getting a little shaggy.  Which is ok if you want Wookie hair but…” and then gave Sam a pointed look.
Jack looked at Sam for guidance, unsure of how to respond.  Sam just laughed and directed a “jerk” at Dean.
Sam said, “Jack, it’s your hair and you decide how you want it to look.”
After giving it some thought, Jack said, “I guess I don’t want to look like a Wookie.  Can I get a haircut?”
Dean volunteered to cut Jack’s hair but Sam just chuckled and shook his head.  Sam decided he would make an appointment with the girl who cut his own hair and take Jack into town for his haircut.
The next day, Sam and Jack drove into town.  Sandra, Sam’s usual stylist, greeted them with a smile and innocently asked Sam, “And who is this?” referring to Jack.
Giving one of his awkward waves, Jack shyly said, “I’m Jack.”
Sam was taken aback because he hadn’t thoroughly thought this thing through. Of course, Sandra knew Sam and would be curious about Jack.  By that time, Jack was nervously staring at the floor. And Sam was hit by the realization that that this was Jack’s first haircut and it was a big deal for him.
Not giving himself time to think, Sam blurted out, “He’s my son.”  When he saw the biggest smile he had ever seen on Jack’s face, he knew it was the right thing to say.  More than that, he knew it was the truth.
He felt himself smiling just as big when Jack answered, “Yes, that’s my Dad.”
He might not have been prepared to be a parent. But at that moment, if anyone had asked Sam Winchester if he was happy to be a father, his answer would be a resounding “Yes!”

Jack Kline Novak Winchester: Son, TFW Mirror, Trinity and Key; Quaternity, Ouroboros, Caduceus, and Harbinger of The End
“I am a hunter, I am the son of Lucifer, I am a Winchester!” (14x14 Ourboros).
Tumblr media
“One becomes two, two becomes three, and out of the third comes the one as the fourth.” (the alchemist Maria Prophetissima 1-3 C AD). This refers to the four stages of alchemy, the refining of base metals into gold on the material plane, but the refining of the soul to God on the spiritual plane -  nigredo (black), albedo (white), citrinalis (yellow), and rubedo (red).
In Jung’s interpretation of this alchemical piece of wisdom, this means the refining of the psyche:
1) = Conscious Self
2) = Unconscious Self (the Shadow or Mirror)
3) = Inner Mediator
4) Integrated Self
Tumblr media
(One of the books Dean uses to build the Ma’lak box in 14x11 Damaged Goods)
This meta is concerned with Jack’s rich symbolic role in the SPN narrative.
Jack enters the story to help Team Free Will face their Shadow-Selves and thus evolve psychologically.
This concludes my S14 meta series on the Jungian (and alchemical) themes of the season.

Jack is dualistic; Good and Evil, Human Soul and Angelic Grace. He is a trinity: Human, Angel and “Demon” (fallen Angel); Dean-mirror, Cas-mirror, Sam-mirror. He is also a quaternity, thanks to the additional feminine element: his mother, Kelly Kline and his adoptive mother/ grandmother Mary Winchester (the latter resurrected by the feminine God-principle Amara).
Jung considers the quaternity to be highly significant (he refers to “squaring the circle”) including, as above, in relation to his interpretation of Maria Prophetissima’s alchemical summary as being analogous to the stages of psychic growth and integration. He often considers the, Son, Father, Holy Ghost and Mother Mary of Christianity to be external symbols for the four stages or elements of the human psyche.
“The quaternity, is an archetype of almost universal occurrence [. . .]” For instance, if you want to describe the horizon as a whole, you name the four quarters of heaven…There are always four elements, four prime qualities, four colours, four castes, four ways of spiritual development, etc. So, too, there are four aspects of psychological orientation [. . .] The ideal of completeness is the circle sphere, but its natural minimal division is a quaternity”
(Jung: Psychology and Religion: West and East).
Conceived by stealth-rape in a Bucklemming episode (12x08 LOTUS) Jack was possibly off to an inauspicious start as the Devil’s Baby.
But Jack the Nephilim, son of Lucifer and Kelly Kline, had the good sense to adopt Castiel as his protector in the womb, and from then on out he has ascended through the spiral narrative like the phoenix he is.
Tumblr media
Born in 12x23 All Along the Watchtower, Jack was always part of Dabb’s Ouroboros narrative. A "demon” with yellow eyes in a nursery, a child, and a mother who dies; Jack was a mirror, reflecting SPN’s origin story, of Azazel feeding baby-Sam demon blood, and burning Mary Winchester on the ceiling. And Jack was Sammy and Azazel both.
Castiel died at Jack’s birth too, murdered by Lucifer in front of Dean’s horrified eyes, thus placing Cas in the role of Mary Winchester and Dean in the role of John Winchester.
Tumblr media
Adopted by a reluctant grieving Dean and a hopeful Sam, Jack discovered he loved nougat and stole a lot of fandom hearts.
Importantly, through their adoption of Jack and his reflection of many of their previous experiences, TFW are forced to recognise themselves (including painful repressed elements of themselves) in him, thus he enables them to better meet their Shadow-selves and evolve. In this sense he is the mediator between the Ego and the Id, the conscious self and the unconscious self, the Self and the Shadow for TFW. That is why Jack is linked to the symbol of the Ouroboros, the snake swallowing its own tail, because in alchemy that signifies transformation:
Tumblr media
This self-recognition (of themselves in Jack) is initially much easier for Sam and Cas than it is for Dean....
Sam the boy corrupted by demon blood, of course sees himself in the innocent yet unstable son of Lucifer. Cas, fallen angel in love with humanity, likewise naturally sees himself in a half-angel/ half-human child who is struggling with his place in the world.
Tumblr media
Juxtaposing innocence and enormous power (potential for good and potential for evil) Jack was a child who grew up too fast, literally (appearing twenty whilst only two). In this respect, he was a mirror for Dean, who had to grow up too fast when his Mom died, assuming the role of substitute-parent to Sammy.
Dean has a hard time recognising and having compassion for the innocent child part of himself that he gave up to become Daddy’s “good little soldier” and caretaker to Sammy. Which is why his journey into loving Jack (as a reflection of himself) goes hardest (see my meta on Dean’s Jungian shadow arc, linked above, for more on this).
Jack is also (like Dawn in Buffy) a metaphysical, mystical key. He opens doors; doors between dimensions/ worlds and alternate universes as well as doors in the psyche between the Self and the Shadow. He is the key to Chuck’s multiverse and to the larger God-machine.
Jack (responding to Dean’s intense grief) resurrected Castiel in The Empty, the space where dead angels and demons go. Only Chuck had resurrected Castiel previously. So, we see Jack step into the role of God, but in a place (The Empty) where (if we believe the Cosmic Entity that resides there) God has no dominion. Jack already presages God Level Mark II.
With Mary Winchester in the apocalypse world (she who was resurrected by the feminine God-principle, Amara) Jack stood on the side of humans against angels, and in this, he was a mirror for Castiel (who rebelled against Heaven to stand with the Winchesters).
Tumblr media
When his birth father, Lucifer, stole his grace in 13x23 Let the Good Times Roll, Jack became de-powered (human-ish) again, mirroring Castiel (and his Human!Cas arc after the angel fall in 8x23 Sacrifice).
Tumblr media
With his soul/ grace unbalanced, Jack began coughing up blood; a mirror for Sam’s journey during the demon trials of S8.
Knowing he was dying, Jack went fishing with Dean in 14x07 Unhuman Nature
Ahhh all the lovely fish and fishing metaphors SPN has employed over the years. Fish have sometimes stood for humans, sometimes stood for angels, but always for angel/ human convergence. Jung in Aion (reading medieval alchemical texts) writes about the fish as an alchemical symbol for the philosopher’s stone (the mystical substance that allows transformation - of matter and spirit and, for Jung, of the psyche):  “...alchemical fish symbolism leads direct to the lapis, the salvator, servator, and deus terrenus; that is, psychologically, to the self.” (Jung, Aion: Researches into the Phenomenology of the Self, 1979: p157)
So, Dean and his adopted Nephilim son fish together, which recalls, in particular, Dean’s fishing dream in 4x20 The Rapture, which Cas entered and there passed Dean a love note of assistance. If fish are angels, then Dean and Jack have already “caught” one, by means of love: Castiel.
Dean is placed here again in the role of his own father, John Winchester.
JACK: “You once told me you and your father did the exact same thing. It was your happiest memory of him.”
And Jack, as the product of angel/ human congress, has always stood (in subtext) as a metaphor for the love between Dean and Cas.
Tumblr media
But, metaphysically unbalanced, Jack sickens further. An injection of Gabriel’s archangel grace doesn’t help. TFW take him to the hospital together, to no avail. Sam, his third adoptive father, keeps vigil at his bedside as he dies.
Tumblr media
Jack finds himself in Heaven. Here he is a mirror for Sam and Dean, who have both died multiple times on the show. He reunites with his mother Kelly Kline, but The Shadow (a manifestation of The Empty particularly linked to Castiel, symbolising, as it does, Cas’ Jungian Shadow-self) has invaded Heaven and wants to drag Jack to The Empty with it. Jack’s duality is here highlighted, as his human soul belongs in Heaven, but his dead angelic self belongs in The Empty, (according to the SPN cosmic sorting hat!)
Tumblr media
Castiel comes searching for Jack in Heaven, and makes a deal with The Shadow in 14x08 Byzantium - Jack’s life for his own (the moment Cas allows himself to be happy). Cas and Jack mirror Dean and Sam here, and all the supernatural deals they’ve made, or tried to make, to bring one another back from death over the years. Cas in particular mirrors Dean, because Sam has always, in one sense, been not only Dean’s brother, but his son.
As ever, there will be a price to pay for this deal. Not only Castiel’s promise to surrender himself to the Shadow, but also the second “death” of Mary Winchester (caused by a resurrected Jack).
But, Cas loves his Nephilim son so much (<my heart>):
Tumblr media
Held in an unstable balance thanks to Lily Sunder’s dark soul-consuming magic, things start to get dicey for Jack post-resurrection. He tries to impress Max, Stacy and Eliot (the Lebanon kids) and ends up stabbing Stacy (Castiel’s mirror) with an angel blade (14x16 Don’t Go in the Woods) leaving Max (Dean’s mirror) grieving over her body, thus, in that moment, mirroring his father Lucifer (12x23 All Along the Watchtower), However, he brings Stacy back from death (mirroring his own resurrection of Cas) but every time he uses his powers, he burns off some of his soul:
Tumblr media
Wow he is cycling, Ouroboros style, through so many previous TFW arcs.
And so we arrive at 14x14 Ouroboros itself, THE crucial episode in terms of all this symbology, in which Jack kills the Queer Gorgon Noah Ophis (himself an Ouroboros symbol = Noah from Genesis and Ophis from Revelation) to save the Winchesters and adopts his snake, Felix (also an Ouroboros symbol).
Then, he burns off considerably more of his soul (perhaps all of it  - it’s unclear) to kill AU!Michael, and swallows his grace, Ouroboros style:
Tumblr media
Jack is now another symbolic duality and trinity - he contains elements of both Michael and Lucifer, the two opposing forces in Apocalypse Mark I, now united in one being. The third element is provided by his humanity (now, seemingly, in jeopardy).
An evolved and fully re-powered-up Jack has sprung forth, just as Pegasus the winged horse and his brother Chrysaor of the golden sword did from the neck of their Gorgon mother Medusa when Perseus slew her:
Tumblr media
In this form, Jack is linked (via a book on Donatello’s shelves behind him in 14x15 Peace of Mind - thanks to @postmodernmulticoloredcloak for this spot!) to the Caduceus symbol on the spine of the Book of Life here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Caduceus is the staff of Hermes, consisting of two serpents entwined about a staff crowned with wings. Hermes is the messenger of the Gods in Greek mythology. He can move freely between the worlds of God and men (linking to Jack’s function as a metaphysical key, on both a micro-cosmic psychological scale, and a macrocosmic God-machine scale). Hermes was also a psychopomp, a conductor of souls to the afterlife. The psychopomp is linked by Jung to the psychological mediator function - that which mediates between the Self and the Shadow, as Jack does for TFW via his mirroring function.
Jack’s visit to Donatello also serves to remind us that even someone without a human soul can live a good life if they pick the right role models (Donatello picks Mr. Rogers, Jack picks the Winchesters).
In 14x15 Peace of Mind, Jack demonstrates both his potential for good and evil in this new diminished soul-state, via a (misplaced) compassion (good) which leads him to kill Felix the snake (evil) believing the beastie is grieving for Noah the Queer Gorgon and will be reunited with him in death:
Tumblr media
This death of the snake is also symbolic of Jack’s role as mirror and mystical key - old patterns within both Team Free Will and Chuck’s Multiverse must die, in order for newer and healthier ones to be born. Jack is the catalyst, the messenger, the Ouroboros, the Caduceus.
In Jack’s new, vulnerable, state (with either some, or all, of his soul gone) he  banishes Lucifer back to the Empty in 14x17 Game Night after Nick (bleugh) tries to resurrect him, and he then burns Nick to a crispy cinder for good measure. Afterwards, Jack is tormented by Hallucifer (a vision of his father Lucifer in his mind). This is very possibly the actual Lucifer, communicating with Jack via the blood-link spell Nick performed, hoping to lead him astray. It certainly sounds like the actual Lucifer. It also, of course, mirrors Sam’s Hallucifer arc.
Distressed by Mary’s reaction to his incineration of Nick and taunted by Hallucifer, Jack loses control and (or so we are led to believe) kills Mary (in fact I think he’s blasted her unwittingly through a portal to an AU/ mirror universe, but that’s another story).
Now the crisis in Jack’s relationship with his adoptive fathers is set up.
Dean, is the member of TFW who (as I explained above) has found it hardest to have compassion for the mirror-self whom Jack reflects back to him (young Dean with the weight of the world on his shoulders) and he determines Jack must be locked in the Ma’lak box and/ or killed. Sam and Cas, who have been better able to recognise themselves in Jack and so have compassion for him, dissent (but Sam’s hangover child-role to Dean’s father-role in their toxic co-dependency means he doesn’t initially stand up to Dean).
Here is Jack, locked in the Ma’lak box (Jack in the Box 14x19) being tormented again by Hallucifer:
Tumblr media
And, of course, that couldn’t contain him, so, deeply upset at being lied to by two of his three adoptive fathers, Jack busts out all glowy-eyed:
Tumblr media
Chuck shows up to set Mount Moriah and Abraham and Isaac redux in motion , and Dean, possessed by his Shadow-self (the Ghost of John Winchester) gets ready to repeat history.
A yellow-eyed “demon”has killed Mary Winchester (again) and Dean-as-John picks up Chuck’s weapon of RevengeTM (the Hammurabi - see my meta on Dean and his Shadow arc linked above for more on this).
But Jack, in his role as mirror and mediator between the Self and the Shadow. freely offers himself as a sacrifice, a scapegoat.
And seeing this, at last, Dean has compassion, both for Jack and for his own mirror-child self, “murdered” by John Winchester’s revenge quest to get Yellow-Eyes/ Azazel. And so, he stays his hand.
Tumblr media
Chuck, the bastard, kills Jack anyway and lights the fuse under Apocalypse III.
But, because Jack is a metaphysical key and the symbol of transfomation (Ouroboros) he can move between all the realms of the God-machine. And so, Death has no true dominion, and we see Jack awaken (14x20 Moriah) in The Empty:
Tumblr media
There, he is greeted by a figure, presumbly the Cosmic Entity who presides over the place, as well as by Billie the New Death.
According to the Empty’s Cosmic Entity in 13x04 The Big Empty, “Before God and Amara, creation, destruction, Heaven, Hell, your precious little earth, what was there?... Nothing. Nothing but Empty... Angels and demons... you all come here when you die...  I’m the only one that has any pull here. Not Heaven, not Hell, not G-O-D himself.“
As with the Amara storyline (she is mapped to Sophia, the cosmic feminine God-principle) it seems Dabb is drawing on Gnosticism in his conception of The Empty. Jung was also fascinated by Gnosticism.
The Gnostics made a distinction between the supreme unknowable Being, and the creator of the material universe, God, known as the Demiurge (who was often seen as amoral, even wicked).
We don’t yet know whether Chuck has already merged with Amara, and is the double entity Chuck/ Amara or, whether her feminine God-principle will be instrumental in persuading him to finally end his story, and let Team Free Will and humanity become the authors of their own stories. The latter would make sense in Jung’s quaternity structure, and would be linked to my theory that Mary Winchester is not dead and will return to her sons before the end.
Chuck, as the Demiurge, may perhaps be the mere avatar or emanation of the true supreme Godhood, if we take a Gnostic perspective. Whilst Chuck-the-Demiurge must be defeated, because he doesn’t want to relinquish control of the narrative, in his Supreme Godhood form, and/or merged Amara form, he may himself relinquish control and let Team Free Will go.
Whether Jack is initially manipulated by The Empty, Death and/ or an awakened Lucifer and/or indeed AU!Michael, or joins forces with them (in their good faith) remains to be seen. Lucifer may (ugh, but definitely possible) get a redemption arc, as he has, despite his many evil deeds, undoubtedly been wronged by Chuck (forced to bear the Mark of Cain and thus become corrupted by it).
Ultimately, I have no doubt that Jack, thanks to his loving connection to Team Free Will, will ultimately (as Cas has always believed) be “good for the world”:
Tumblr media
(Jack and his three adoptive Dads in Unhuman Nature 14x07)
Jack, as the alchemical symbol of transformation (Ouroboros) as Mercury the mediator (Caduceus) between universes, between realms in the God-Machine, and between the conscious and the unconscious, and as the union of opposites (Michael and Lucifer, Good and Evil, Self and the Shadow), and as the trinity symbolising that unity (Sam, Dean and Cas merged as TFW) and as the quaternity (the ultimate integration [I hope] with the feminine principle symbolised by Mary and Amara) will, I believe, help usher in “Paradise” after the Apocalypse III; a “new Heaven and a new Earth, because the old Heaven and the old Earth had passed away” (Revelation) in which true free will reigns and Team Free Will have completed their psychic journeys.
“Thus we have the “hostile brothers,” Christ and the devil, who were regarded as brothers in the Jewish-Christian tradition; the tetrameria into four parts or elements; the paired opposites and their ultimate unity; the parallel of the lapis and Mercurius with Christ and, because of the snake or dragon symbolism, also with the devil; and finally, the figure of Mercurius duplex and of the lapis, which unites the opposites indivisibly in itself.”
(Jung, Aion: Researches into the Phenomenology of the Self, 1979: p214)

Because I’m too drunk lazy to retype some of this, have some pain!
under a cut because drunken rambles...
mittensmorgul I've already posted a couple of drunken rambles (I am not drunk maybe a lil tipsy) about Michael, so
no wank, just glory :P
angstphilosophy speaking of wank heyyyy they acknowledged that Michael weaving discourse and lies is shading the haters This show has gotten so meta in more than one sense of the word mittensmorgul YEP
mittensmorgul when the show itself is actively mocking you, you should probably stop being a lil bitch...
(not you, the hater-ish people) i might be thinker than I drunk I was OOH i have things in the inbox! I guess that's what I get for complaining that i had nothing in the inbox :P wait... was it mel I was saying that to or you? I think it was mel i'm definitely drunker than i think i am
angstphilosophy you made a general post :L so I went and filled your inbox with something mittensmorgul no, I mean, I was telling mel about it before i made the general post
angstphilosophy oh mittensmorgul she kept asking if I had Cosmic Consequences anons yet, and I didn't
angstphilosophy it wasn't me then :L mittensmorgul because there's some cosmic consequences dragging from billie's warning in 13.05, telling dean to keep his mitts off the au's
angstphilosophy haaaaaaaaaaa I guess all of the winchesters have Cosmic Consequences on their hands. First Cas in s12 finale and now Dean gets to deal with Michael breaking the cosmos... it's what the Winchesters do mittensmorgul which is ALSO meta on a poetic level with our own universe... billie telling Dean (or Jensen) to leave the au's (or the fanfic/fandom) alone...
.
angstphilosophy huhuhuhu mittensmorgul Cas still has his Empty deal hanging over him, which is pretty cosmic
he won't be getting another alarm clock poke from Jack again, you know?
angstphilosophy Jack technically could with his powers, but Cas already tried putting a stop to that :L mittensmorgul unless jack is willing to burn up his own soul to make that happen, but cas sacrificed himself to save Jack's soul in the first place so that seems kinda... pointless... unless that's Jack's endgame... literally burning himself up to give TFW a happy ending
angstphilosophy nO UHHHHHNNGHH MITTENS mittensmorgul *shrug emoji*
angstphilosophy THAT'S PAIN mittensmorgul yep!
:D where's the "you're watching Supernatural" gif when I need it

Classic literature vine compilation: The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, pt. 02
A/N: Here is the second part of the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde vine compilation! :D
Lady Summers: Imagine if someone handed you a box full of the items you have lost throughout your life.
Utterson: It WOULD be nice to get my sense of purpose back.
Lanyon: Oh wow, my childhood innocence! Thank you for finding this.
Poole: I knew I lost that potential somewhere!
Jekyll: My will to live! I haven’t seen this in years!
Hyde: Mental stability, my old friend!
Lady Summers: Gentlemen, could you lighten up a little?
Jekyll, singing: This is the day, see it sparkle and shine-
Jekyll, singing: When all I've lived for, becomes mine!
Hyde: Lol, nope.
Lady Summers: Look at your glasses, gentlemen. Do you think, that they're half full or half empty?
Utterson: Half full.
Jekyll: Half empty.
Hyde: You haven't even touched it yet!
Lanyon: It's a glass of champagne.
Lady Summers: Well, I see a glass that's half full and half empty.
Lady Summers: And I think, that I should drink my champagne already.
Board of Govenors: Get murdered by Hyde one by one.
The whole city: OMG, SOME HYPOCRITICAL SICKOS GOT MURDERED HOW TERRIBLE!!! EVERYONE PANIC!!!
Me: Oh for fuck's sake, it's 1880s London, people get murdered every fucking hour!
Lady Summers: Being a telepath has its downsides.
Hyde: Like?
Lady Summers: You know, how I can control, when I look into other people's minds, but keep hearing their thoughts all the time, as if they were talking out loud?
Hyde: Uh, yeah?
Lady Summers:  Well, sometimes I hear things that literally no one wants to hear.
Hyde: Is that why you're so grumpy right now?
Lady Summers: You'd be grumpy too, if you had to listen to someone thinking about bedding their own mother.
Hyde: …
Lady Summers: Dammit, me and my big mouth.
Hyde: What? I don't have a mother.
Lady Summers: No, but hearing you think about your physical exploits with Dr. Jekyll isn't much better.
Lady Summers: I like to believe that I'm a tolerant, open-minded person.
Lady Summers: I'm very nice.
Lanyon: You punched a baron in the face and gave him a black eye, Milady.
Lady Summers: That twit made fun of your beautiful eyes. He clearly asked for it.
Lanyon: …  O///O
Lady Summers: I used to believe as a child, that insane asylums were places, where insane people were cured.
Lady Summers: *scowls* But then I realised that they're just suburbs of hell, where the patients are treated like criminals at best and animals at worst.
Jekyll: What happened?
Lady Summers: I saw one.
Lady Summers, a German noblewoman living in England in the 1880s: Since the relationship between Britain and Germany is beginning to get complicated, people keep asking me, where my loyalties lie.
Lady Summers: They lie with my home country.
Lady Summers: And it's not Germany.
Lady Summers: Doctor Jekyll, what are you doing?
Jekyll: Monologuing.
Lady Summers: …
Lady Summers: Doctor, that's not how you confront the person who ruined your life.
Lady Summers: And I'm not referring to Mr. Hyde here.
Jekyll: …
Jekyll: Is this … chamomile tea?!
Lady Summers: Yes. Now stop sulking, chamomile tea is healthy for your digestion.
Jekyll: I know that! I'm a doctor, Milady!
Lady Summers: Why are you not drinking, then?
Jekyll: Chamomile tea is disgusting!
Lady Summers: …
Lady Summers: I swear, I'm talking to a five-year-old.
Lady Summers: I try to be as British as possible.
*something is out of place*
Lady Summers: WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT MOVING THE FURNITURE IN MY HOUSE??? AND WHERE ARE MY FOUNTAIN PENS?!?!
The butler: She's trying.
Jekyll, Utterson & Lanyon: …
Jekyll, singing: The world has gone insane!
Hyde: Nah, sweetheart, it's just you.
Hyde: I'm very generous! What about that one time I gave blood?
Utterson, suspiciously: Whose blood?
Hyde: *shrugs* Some guy's.
Jekyll: I've had about enough of your sarcasm.
Hyde: Just about? So you could have some more, if you wanted through it.
Jekyll: That's exactly what I'm talking about.
Lady Summers: I, uh, I stayed up way too late.
Lanyon: Why don't you stay awake all day and then go to bed, like, at nine tonight.
Lady Summers: That's a risky fucking move.
Lanyon: Do it anyway.
Lady Summers: I'm gonna do it anyway.
Jekyll: Hastie, why am I so ugly?
Lanyon: You're not. Literally every single person you know has told you that you're good-looking.
Jekyll: Yeah, but they're just saying that, because they feel bad for me.
Lanyon: Feel bad for you?! No, no.
Lanyon: Well, most of us find you bloody annoying.
Hyde, holding a mouth harp: You play it, you get a hundred million pounds. But a hundred million people will die.
Hyde: *plays the mouth harp*
Utterson: EDWARD, NO!!!
Hyde: Henry, I don't want to continue torturing you.
Jekyll: *sighs* Yes, you do.
Hyde: YES! YES I DO!!! >:D
Hyde: Your honour, I'm not trying to bribe you, but would you like this other half of this cosmic brownie?
Utterson: Dear god! *_*
Utterson: THIS MAN GOES FREE!
Utterson: Would you rather fight a bunch of kindergartners-
Hyde: I wanna fight kindergartners!
Utterson: That's not even the whole-
Hyde: THOSE KIDS ARE GETTING SLAPPED!
Hyde: Well, I'm not gonna tell you anything!
Lady Summers: Is that so? Well, I suppose I'll keep this delicious nougat to myself.
Utterson: Mr. Hyde, now that I have you strapped to this chair, you will come.
Hyde: Now, that's what I call bondage!
Utterson: If it pleases the court, I might read a direct quote.
Judge: I'll allow it.
Utterson: *reads out loud* "I'm literally crying."
Hyde: I WAS NOT!!!
Utterson: YOU WERE!!!
Jekyll: Are you ticklish?
Hyde, thinking: Oh god, I don't wanna say yes, because I then get tickled, but if I say no, he might get suspicious and then tickle me anyway, so I don't know-
Jekyll: Where's the entire box of cookies that I just bought.
Hyde: That's almost an accusatory tone-
Hyde: -but there is none. Yeah, I ate the whole box, because I have no self-control.
Utterson: Do you wanna take our relationship to the next level?
Jekyll: Yes, but I have to warn you: I'm a bitch in the boardroom AND A MONSTER IN THE BEDROOM!!!
Simon Stride: Hey, Lisa, wanna marry me?
Lisa Carew: I SAID NO FIVE TIMES, GET A CLUE!!!
Simon Stride, holding a game of clue: Hey, Lisa-
Lisa Carew: GODDAMMIT!!!
Jekyll: Do you ever lay down, and then you start to cry for a bit and you don't know why?
Jekyll: Can you file this?
Hyde: Oh yeah, just gimme a sec, 'cuz I'm in the middle of this huge existential crisis right now and it's almost time for my daily breakdown, so …
Jekyll: I was wondering, if you wanna go out?
Lanyon: Yeah. *opens the door*
Jekyll: Where are you going?
Lanyon: Out. The farther away from you, the better.
Priest: Where's the holy water?
Hyde: *innocuously sipping from a cup*
Jekyll: So many women and men like me, it's, like, really annoying.
Hyde: … *inhales*
Hyde: NNNNAAAHH-
Lanyon: Alright, if you were a flower, what would you be?
Lady Summers: I'd be a little-mist-camellia, because nobody knows I exist.
Lanyon: Very educated!
Lanyon: Oh cool, a mood ring! What does blue mean?
Hyde: It means "don't talk to me".
Lanyon: What does purple mean?
Hyde: Also "don't talk to me".
Lanyon: What does green mean?
Hyde: *holds up middle finger* Did you notice the finger it's on?
Lanyon, when meeting Lady Summers for the second time: Hey, I know you!
Lady Summers: You don't know me. I don't even know me.
Lanyon: Nice to see you again!
Lanyon: Listen, Milady, if you don't change your attitude, I'll have to talk to your husband.
Lady Summers: …
Lanyon: … Wait.
Lady Summers, a widow: If you figure out, how to talk to my husband, please let me know.
Lanyon: Alright, Milady, if you were an animal, what would you be?
Lady Summers: I'd be a black sheep.
Lanyon: Okay, very expressive!
Lanyon: Okay, if you were a fruit, what would you be?
Lady Summers: I'd be a tomato, because no one accepts me as part of the group.
Lanyon: … Very creative!
Lanyon: Alright, if you were an office supply, what would you be?
Lady Summers: I'd be paper, because everyone uses me and then throws me away.
Lanyon: … Very descriptive!
Lanyon: Milady, if you were a sweet, what would you be and why?
Lady Summers: I'd be black liquorice, because nobody likes me.
Lanyon: I'm sure, someone does!
Lanyon: In fact, I do!
Jekyll: Bye! Have a good day!
Lanyon: Have a great day!
Jekyll: Have an amazing day!
Lanyon: Have an incredible day!
Jekyll: HAVE A MAGICAL BLOOMING DAY, YOU SON OF A-
Lanyon: If you were a spirit animal, what would it be?
Lady Summers: I'd be a unicorn, because nobody believes in me.
Lanyon: Very imaginative!
Jekyll: It was nice to meet you.
Lanyon: It was great to meet you.
Jekyll: It was wonderful to meet you.
Lanyon: It was fantastic to meet you.
Jekyll: IT WAS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU, LITTLE BUGGER-
Lady Summers in public, singing: I wanna be where the people aren't. -_-
Lady Summers: *ominously* No one will ever find your body-
Lady Summers: *cheerfully* -as attractive as I do! Let's grab dinner!
Lanyon: O///O
Lady Summers: Oh my god, is it really that late? I should go outside!
Lady Summers: *opens the front door and looks out*
Lady Summers: That's enough.
Hyde to Utterson:  I love waking up next to you, babe.
Hyde: But I fell asleep on the left side and woke up on the right-
Hyde: *grabs a knife* -SO WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GO LAST NIGHT?!
Jekyll: Hey, what are you doing tonight?
Utterson: More like, who am I doing, amirite?
Jekyll: …
Utterson: …
Jekyll: …
Utterson: … I'm not doing anything, what's up?
Utterson: When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Hyde: Well, unless they give you water and sugar, your lemonade is gonna be pretty sucky.
Utterson: …
Utterson: This elusive creature has been dwelling in this room for the last three days and-
*Hyde comes dashing out of the lab*
Utterson: OH MY GOD, THERE IS IT, IT GRABS SOME FOOD-
*Hyde retreats back into the lab*
Utterson: -aaand it's gone.
Utterson: Story time! Into the bag he snuck, looking for treasure!
Hyde: *runs away giggling*
Poole: He's looking for my sweets. :)
Utterson: Oh, but his plans were foiled! XD
Lanyon: *ominously* I'm gonna chop you up-
Lanyon: *cheerfully* -SOOOME FRESH VEGETABLES TO HELP MAINTAIN YOUR KILLER SHAPE! *starts cutting vegetables*
Lady Summers: *thinking* Cute.
Lady Summers: *ominously* Your days are numbered-
Lady Summers: *cheerfully* -WIIITH THIS FRIENDSHIP CALENDER TO MARK YOUR FUTURE SUCCESSES! *laughs*
Lanyon: *laughs*
Lanyon: *ominously* You're just one Claude-
Lanyon: *cheerfully* MOOONET PAINTING, BECAUSE YOU'RE A WORK OF ART! THAT SPARKLES! :D
Lady Summers: v///v
Lady Summers: *ominously* Drop-dead-
Lady Summers: *cheerfully* GOOOORGEOUS, that's what I'd call you with or without this blush! :D
Lanyon: O///O

Lanyon: *cheerfully* -IIIIIN MY EYES AS I GET LOST IN YOURS!

Lady Summers: Oh shoot, are you okay?! XD
Lanyon: Story time! He'd been waiting his whole life for someone to sweep him off his feet! ;)
Jekyll: *sweeps Utterson off his feet* :D
Utterson: WHOA! :D
Jekyll, singing and twirling around with Utterson in his arms: AND CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE TONIGHT- :D
Hyde: You think you're tough?
Lady Summers: Oh yeah!
Lady Summers: *brushes her teeth*
Hyde: -_-
Lady Summers: *whips out a bottle of orange juice*
Hyde: No!
Lady Summers: *drinks the orange juice* >:D
Hyde: *runs away screaming*
Utterson: THIEF! YOU'RE UNDER ARREST FOREVER!!!
Jekyll: WAIT, NO, WHAT DID I STEAL?!
Utterson: My heart. >///<
Jekyll: O///O
Poole: Story time! In every group of friends, there's the dumb one.
Utterson, Lanyon & Lady Summers: *point at Jekyll*
Jekyll: Really?! -_-
The others: *laugh*
Utterson: Hey Hyde, we got some ice cream out here!
Hyde: *comes out of the lab* ICE CREAM!!!
Poole: *knocks him out with a frying pan*
Utterson: … I'm shocked this always works.
Poole: I know, let's get the notes.
Hyde: I keep telling you, man, you gotta stop letting people walk all over you!
Jekyll, lying on the floor: Okay.
Hyde: What's wrong, kid?
Little girl: Nobody likes me! Q_Q
Hyde: All that matters is what's inside-
Hyde: *pulls out a gun* -your wallet.
Little girl: WHAT?!
Utterson: Oh, Miss got grief?
Lady Summers, 20 years ago: Yes, sir, my husband is dead.
Utterson: Oh, I didn't know you were married, may I congratulate!
Lady Summers: … *thinking* English people.
Lady Summers: Did you know I can read minds?
Jekyll: Really?!
Lady Summers: I'll show you.
Hyde, inside Jekyll's mind: AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Lady Summers: OH MEIN GOTT!!!
Jekyll: Yeah, I got a lot going on.
Hyde: Your honour! Permission to treat the witness as hostile!
Utterson: Permission granted!
Hyde: I'm gonna shoot you in the face!
Enfield: That'll ruin my day!
Utterson: You're being charged for murder. What do you plead?
Hyde: … I'm sorry, I was just doing this thing, where I wasn't listening, just staring at your chin.
Poole: Sir, there's been a murder.
Jekyll: Was it you?
Poole: No!
Jekyll: Was it me?
Poole: … No?
Jekyll: *sigh of relief* Okay.
Poole: Doctor, come out, come out, wherever you are!
Jekyll: I'm gay!
Lanyon: Where are you?!
Lady Summers: I give you a hint - Japan.
Lanyon: You're taking this game of Hide and Seek way too seriously.
Utterson: Do you want some vitamins, bro?
Jekyll: No, bro.
Utterson: Why, bro?
Jekyll: Because you're the only one, who gives me strength, bro.
Utterson: Bro!
Jekyll: I'm not a cake face. I'm an ice cream cake face.
Jekyll: Under this thick cosmetic frosting is my cold interior.
Hyde: Hi, I'm the cold interior! :D
Hyde: I heard you were checking out my boyfriend?
#1 random guy: Uh, yeah?
Hyde: *gets out a knife* WELL YOU'LL NEVER SPEAK TO MY BOYFRIEND AGAIN!!! *throws knife*
#1 random guy: *dodges knife* Sir, I'm a cashier, it's my job!
Hyde: Hey!
Utterson: *jolts awake*
Hyde: *holds a gun to Utterson's head* Who are you dreaming about?
Utterson: Uh, you? O_O
Hyde: Okay. Just checking. ^_^
Lady Summers: I don't always play the victim.
Lady Summers: But when I do, it ruins other people. >:D
Lady Summers: You can make fun of me. You can make fun of my life style.
Lady Summers: But if you make fun of my family, friends or clients, I'll make sure you'll never be able to show your face in public again.
Hyde: Why are you always on your desk?
Jekyll: Why are you always on my nerves?
Hyde: True, my bad.
Jekyll: I CAN'T FIND IT!
Hyde: What are you looking for?
Jekyll: My happiness.
Hyde: Your what?
Lady Summers: How tall are you?
Jekyll: Six feet.
*reverse*
Jekyll: How tall are you, Milady?
Lady Summers: *glowers* I am 4 feet, seven inches and nine tenths tall, I will destroy you!

The Ultimate Sacrifice
Or the second chance?
Supernatural meta. Meta spec. TFW meta. 15x15 spoiler.
Hello everyone! I'm gonna try to convey here this episode.
If you want to read the Destiel meta, you can find it here.
Cas and Jack, angels are watching over us
Cas and Jack faced the lowest of humanity in this episode. Castiel repeated one learned lesson from the Winchesters when he recalled that quote "Humans can be the worst monsters".

Tumblr media
But coming around a shelter, in which innocent people just was looking for help and being listened, and also, searching his faith, was the way Davey Perez wanted to show us hope.
Castiel and Jack saved those people's day, and making miracles healing them, and facing their own selves.
The weight of the dialogues were very significative, and we had Jack learning in the process.
The murderer said "Put your faith on God, not in people." Is a voice that talks from the despair and anger.
She was the one making justice with her own hand, but becoming a killer in the process.
Another deep quote was said by the Pastor: A saint is a sinner that keeps trying. That's what we call hope.
At the beginning of the episode, there was a homeless, dirty woman, waiting for her food in the shelter, and the Pastor stopped the first victim from taking her out. He said they have spirit and mercy.
Jack asked the Pastor for an advice, the Nougat boy wanted to know the recipe to reunite so many different people with different thoughts and religion under the same roof. That's God's work, basically, and I think Jack will be the one with that mission.
We had also Castiel's confession, and it was beautiful. He showed us in his speech how much he had changed and how much he had grown up. He recalled his old self, like someone with blind faith, just following orders. He described how he had been lost, without any hopes or propose. Then he mentioned a wonderful person that changed that. (He didn't said Dean, but we all know Dean was the one that cause the angel to take the decision of his life). But he continued, and that person had been the one that brought back his faith (this is Jack), he became a father (thanks to Jack). So he made a journey around his own life, and the persons that changed him. But it caught my attention that when the Pastor discovered he was an angel, Cas said he wasn't a very good one, like, he still feeling bad with himself. And that's not good. We know Cas takes bad decision when he is depressed...
But, at the end of his speech, Castiel indirectly says, his faith is on Jack too, just like Dean and Sam professed in the previous episode.
Jack is the balance, and he doesn't have to fight alone.
Another interesting thing related with previous episode was Cas saying Jack doesn't have to fight alone. And the kid immediately changed his facial expression, because the real plan is he dying and killing Chuck and Amara. The ultimate sacrifice for humanity (Just like Jesus Christ). And if you remember in 15x14, we had the second chance, with Dean pressing the reset button with a hammer, justice. And I said, Jack won't be alone in his fight against Chuck, Dean will help, they will have a second chance. So, is very probable they come out with a second plan, against Death whishes, of course.
When Dean and Sam talk with Amara, the Darkness named the meaning of the balance: they're twins, one is the CREATION and the other is the DESTRUCTION, and if you recall my meta about Hindi God's, Jack is related with Shiva (who had a snake in his neck) and Shiva is the god that destroys the world and rebuilds it, making all things new. So Jack/Shiva is the balance. Because he can do both. He is also the Light (archangel) and the darkness (son of Lucifer). So, who else?
Human Sin, Divine Justice
Dean confessed to Amara he was furious with Chuck and all the cosmic creatures playing their games and playing with their lives, and that's what made Amara to think about helping them.
Also because he said : I WOULD NEVER HURT YOU, which is truth, because he will wait Jack would kill her, but...
This episode talked about ANGER too.
The disturbed girl was willing to kill each member of the church she considered was commiting an unforgivable sin. Taking god's justice in her hands, she meticulously prepared the torture for their victims.
The sins are not the capital sins, but are linked to Chuck and the boys.
LIAR-GREED-LUST-ANGER-LACK OF FAITH
They could be seen as sins against the Saint Spirit, is christianity, but there's a lot of more.
The number 3 was important in this episode too, it represents GOD and perfection, and the search of it, as a propose for those who want to be saints.
The girl said her mother died 3 years ago, and then she gave her victims three hour between finger and finger cut.
She played to be God here, and is a reflection of the cosmic creatures playing with humans, expressed by Dean in his meeting with Amara. The cause of his anger.
It showed the lowest and darkness of humanity, but we also had Castiel and Jack saving them, and Castiel healing them. Like the light that shines in the middle of the dark. There's hopes, my friend.
Note: And what about this Zak demon and the whole new rules in hell? And why he took the killer at the end of the episode? That's the way demons harvest souls now? Everyone needs to go to where they belong??? Mmmmmh. I'm getting crazy ideas here...
But I have to stop.
To Conclude:
This was a deep episode, in which we faced the darkness of humanity, and the Darkness itself hehehe.
There's hints that shows the plan they have is not gonna be the one that succeed.
They will have a second chance in which Dean will be protagonist.
Jack is the balance and could replace not just Chuck but Amara too.
It was very interesting the way Amara and Dean brought back Mary Winchester, she came to make Dean grow up, to mourn about her childhood mother, as I said a lot of times in my metas from season 14. And it was necessary Amara to point this to him, because that wound is still open. So, the acknowledgement of that will mean to Dean to finally face himself, his truth, his fears. He needs to eat his vegetables, as Mrs. Butters said.
Hope you enjoy this mess! See you in the next episode!
