Hi, thank you for all the Kellex content!!!SO, which games have the most Kellex moments? You mentioned Denmark, anything else? Your tags sometimes mentions the games other times they don't..!
okay HERE. WE. GOOOOOOO.聽
My #FAVE Kellex Games! -with links! (to as many as I could find)
SO I鈥檓 going chronologically instead of numbering them by favorites, so without further foreplay鈥 let鈥檚 get this bread
1. WNT vs China PR (closed match)聽- a ridiculously fun and sort of unseen game where Kelley takes a shot on goal and Alex is there to make sure it actually goes in lol
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
you can literally hear Alex yell,聽鈥淜EL!鈥 for the ball and it adds a few years to my life
Tumblr media
2. WNT vs Canada (Olympic Semi Final Match)聽- a classic for OBVIOUS reasons, we got the super soft injury/no water break from Alex
Tumblr media
and then thiS post game mess
Tumblr media
WHERE KELLEY SAYS WHAT WE鈥橰E ALL FEELING (caption is thanks to an anon submission about this btw!!)
Tumblr media
3. WNT vs Australia (First KEllex Goal WOO!!!) - yeah that pretty much sums it up actually鈥
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
4. Portland Thorns vs Sky Blue FC (NWSL)聽- DEF one of my all time faves, because after being super chippy and rough during the game Kelley STILL makes sure Alex is okay when she鈥檚 fouled鈥
Tumblr media
(and tbh any time they play against each other is LiT)
5. WNT vs China (WWC 2015) - THIS. GAME. so underrated! It was the only game in the 2015 WWC where Kelley and Alex got to start together and they were giving off some SuperBFF vibes (I don鈥檛 have a link to this unfortunately but if you can find a place to watch it I would recommend!!)
Tumblr media
6. WNT vs Costa Rica (THE BOOB GOAL鈩) - LOL CAM specifically told me not to forget this and I could nEvER聽馃槀 it鈥檚 the goal where Alex scores with her chest and you KNOW Kelley was teasing her for that鈥
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
(HONORABLE MENTION match): The Bachelor! - i鈥檓 interrupting this post to say that everyone should go watch Kelley and Alex be coaches on the bachelor because first of all watching their聽鈥榗oaching鈥 style is hilarious鈥
Tumblr media
AND when Alex鈥檚 team won she tweeted Kelley this:
Tumblr media
competitive kellex = S T A N聽
7. WNT vs Trinidad and Tobago (Concacaf Qualifiers) - the ORIG jump hug on a goal that they didn鈥檛 even score together lmao what
Tumblr media
8. WNT vs New Zealand (one of Kelley鈥檚 100th Cap Celeb games) - this is also a favorite just because Janice was scoring all these goals for Worms change my mind
Tumblr media
9. WNT vs South Korea (Kellex Goal 2!)聽- hard to say no to them finally scoring again after 5. YEARS.聽
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
10. WNT vs Denmark (Kellex Foul #1)聽- a hilarious insta-justice moment when Captain Alex basically decided that the ref was wrong and took matters into her own hands
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
rekt.聽
11. WNT vs France (SheBelieves Cup, Kellex Foul #2!!!) - okay this one is seriously SO intense Kelley gets REAL pissed when France doesn鈥檛 kick the ball out for Alex鈥檚 foul
Tumblr media
(5 seconds later)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
but what makes it better too is that BelieveThatWe tweeted the gif of Kelley walking away from this foul and Alex replied to it
Tumblr media
SASSY. WORMS.聽
12. Utah Royals vs Orlando Pride (NWSL) - literally ANY time they play against each other guys鈥 it鈥檚 a rollercoaster
Tumblr media
13. WWC 2019 - Thailand and France - NO LINKS to these games sorry guys, but obviously Thailand gets a huge mention because of the 3rd Kellex Goal:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
AND France is an amazing (and actually kind of hilarious) game for them and then it ends with this instant classic:
Tumblr media
ANYWAYS HAVE FUN WATCHING SORRY THIS POST WAS 8 YEARS LONG!

ESPWNT 2020 Preview (2/5): Youth Teams
The Spanish WNT begins a new decade and a new era in 2020. They'll try to follow up their achievements from the late-2010s and build a generation of success and growth for women's football in Spain. The senior team may not have much going on this year, but the youth teams should have a packed schedule. With a Euro Championship and World Cup for both the U-17 and U-19 levels, the youth teams will have plenty of chances to prove last year鈥檚 ~underperformance was just a fluke.
U-17 UEFA Women鈥檚 Championship
The U-17 team entered the 2019 UEFA Championship having reached the finals in the previous five tournaments, so you can understand why getting knocked out in the semifinal was a disappointment. With their #1 UEFA coefficient earning them a bye through the qualifying round, Spain鈥檚 journey back to the top will begin this spring in the Elite Round:
March 19 vs. Turkey聽
March 22 vs. Slovenia聽
March 25 vs. Portugal聽
If they can come out on top of Group 6, they鈥檒l head to Sweden for the final tournament in May.
U-17 Women鈥檚 World Cup
A top three finish in the U-17 UEFA Championship will punch Spain鈥檚 ticket to the U-17 World Cup, taking place this November in India. Spain would enter the tournament as the defending champions, having won their first title in 2018 when they defeated Mexico 2-1 in the final.
U-19 UEFA Women鈥檚 Championship
A gut-wrenching loss against France in the 2019 UEFA Championship semi-final broke a streak of five straight finals appearances for the U-19 team (just like their U-17 counterparts 馃槥). Qualification for the 2020 UEFA Championship began last fall, and Spain dominated their way through to the next round, scoring 22 goals while allowing none. Here鈥檚 what Group 3 has in store for them in the Elite Round:
April 8 vs. Sweden
April 11 vs. Serbia聽
April 14 vs. Switzerland聽
Winning the group would see Spain head to Georgia for the final tournament in late July.
U-20 Women鈥檚 World Cup
Disappointing as it may have been, Spain鈥檚 performance in the 2019 Euro earned them a spot in the U-20 World Cup, which will be this August in Costa Rica and Panama. Spain鈥檚 superb record in the U-19 UEFA Championship hasn鈥檛 quite carried over to the World Cup in the past, but in 2018 they earned their best result yet, finishing as runners-up to Japan. Capturing their first U-20 title would be a great sendoff for the players whose last chance it is to play in a youth World Cup:
Teresa Abelleira (January 9, 2000)
Anna Torroda 聽(January 21, 2000)
Laia Codina (January 22, 2000)
Candela Andujar聽 (March 26, 2000)
Berta Pujadas (April 9, 2000)
Maria Mendez聽 (April 10, 2000)
Olga Carmona (June 12, 2000)
Laia Aleixandri (August 25, 2000)
Athenea del Castillo (October 24, 2000)
Rosa Marquez (December 22, 2000)
Eva Navarro (January 27, 2001)
Cata Coll (April 23, 2001)
Claudia Pina (August 12, 2001)

U.S. Women soccer star Christen Press gave her trophy to her dad after the team won the 2020 Olympic qualifying final in Carson, Calif on Sunday night and the video is awesome.

The USWNT punched their ticket to 2020 Tokyo Olympics to win a another gold medal and on Sunday after beating Canada 3-0.
Via Bleacher Report:
Both squads qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by winning their respective semifinal matches. The U.S. took care of Mexico 4-0, and Canada outlasted Costa Rica 1-0. Sunday's final was for bragging rights more than anything else. 聽
The U.S. extended its unbeaten streak to 28 games. It also improved to 50-3-7 all-time against Canada.
The game-winner came from No. 13, which has become a familiar sight over the years because of Alex Morgan. However, with Morgan away from the team while pregnant, it was Lynn Williams donning her usual No. 13 and punishing a defensive error to break the 0-0 tie in the 60th minute:
Williams was one of two players on this roster not a part of the 2019 Women's World Cup championship roster, per U.S. Soccer, but the 26-year-old made her mark.
Williams' score marked the first goal conceded by Canada in the tournament, and Lindsey Horan buried a second in the 71st minute
