I actually really adore Supergirl, and it's been so long since the last time I've drawn her. This was a little re-design for fun, and I'm so pleased with how it turned out!
Like Superman's trunks, I've gone back and forth on whether I like the idea of the skirt on her costume, and I think I have landed on digging it. I love that she goes into battle looking cute and kicking ass in a skirt.

Alternative Tim Drake Costumes! Jason here.
The first one could be a Robin costume, but I think it diverges too much from Dick’s for Tim to choose it as Robin. It fits better if he became a vigilante separately.
The second one has a similar cape to the New52 Red Robin. It definitely goes all-in on the red, and the mask is supposed to be similar to a cardinal’s crest. I think this would be Tim Drake as Cardinal or maybe a Red Robin costume. He gets semi-spiky hair and keeps the Red Robin logo. This costume looks kind of familiar to me, but googling Tim Drake costumes/costume redesigns for like 20 minutes hasn’t yielded anything super similar so I think I’ve just stared at it too much.
The last one is if 14-year-old skater Tim Drake was given free rein with his costume choices and wasn’t worried about embarrassing himself in front of Batman. It’s not exactly the skater aesthetic, more like a combination of skateboard + punk + neon, but it seems like the type of thing he might think is awesome. This costume would be mocked to death. I, being the person who actually likes the Sixth Doctor’s coat, think it’s cool.

Compulsion Costume Redesign
With a new setting and new environment, it seems fit to give the canon characters new outfits and costumes for their new lives. In the story, most of these costumes are made and designed by Midoriya Izuku. There’s some lore stuff about each one.
Midoriya Izuku’s costume is practical and the most armored out of the bunch. With his Quirkless status, he had to forgo the usual flashiness of a Hero costume and stick to something that’ll keep him alive. Helmet has a LED display using the brain sensor from those robotic cat ears. Logo self-explanatory from the story’s setting - Support Course Midoriya AU.
Kaminari's costume contains his electric output and redirects it to the Support-Arm, the Stein-Gauntlet. The gauntlet is responsible for condensing and focusing the energy to let loose a lightning bolt. There is a "Cast-Off" mode that disables this. The armor comes off and allows the discharge to escape via disc-like ports on his chest, back and waist. The logo was once just the lightning bolts but that felt too simply so I added the Omega symbol as it relates to Ohm, a unit of electrical resistance.
Shinso's costume, while sharing a dramatic amount with Midoriya's costume due to their shared movement system, the Maneuver Belt, Shinso's suit focuses on a lot more movement and plenty of pockets. The Rogue to Midoriya's Paladin. To also show that difference, Shinso wields electrified Escrima Sticks while Midoriya wields a electrified bat. (Shinso's hair also continues to be the bane of my existence.) Casual attires show a formal yet casual look. Logo is brain because I already gave the soundwave thing to Jirou so we're gonna stick with that.
Jirou's second costume includes the guitar/axe named Orpheus. The main focus was to give offensive capabilities while providing a safe place for her to use her quick by providing a wireless connection between her cowl and multiple speakers. The mouth mask was to give her those face paint markings that in canon that I think Shiketsu would disallow. The Logo design lacks that real connection to her character apart from the soundwave/bpm thing. The choice of a triangle comes from her consistent eye-shape.
Ashido's first Hero costume at Shiketsu High School, but without the hat. Due to Shiketsu seemingly having a sense of formality or at least uniformity, I decided to remake the canon designs to fit the new setting. A lot of Ashido's flashy costume became muted and limited, but has found its place as a belt/sash. The costume within the story has received some minor attention from Midoriya hence the grenade launcher and similar greave/kneepad armor. I'm particularly proud of the Logo which has a mouth within a mouth to reference the reoccurring 'Alien' joke.
For Yaoyorozu’s costume, Midoriya takes queues from the R-Rated Hero's costume to give Yaoyorozu the necessary skin exposure for her Quirk. When it comes to signatures, armor seems to be Midoriya's. Attempting to abide by Shiketsu's strict regulations, this whole costume is meant to go under a black cloak but that would be visually boring so I went without it. The visor is linked to a voice-activated database filled with the necessary information for certain Items to be used for the Creation Quirk. The bicep armor holds six in each/twelve in total pills that quickly creates lipids in her digestive system. This, however, will not help her in a battle of attrition, but acts as a lifeline as the amount of lipids is not enough to create large or multiple Items. Logo is a mix of the symbol of Gaia and the kanji for create.
This is all for a fanfic I'm writing called Compulsion. www.fanfiction.net/s/13708254/… archiveofourown.org/works/2672… www.wattpad.com/1054264491-com…

Alternative Jason Costumes! Tim here.
The Robin costume is pretty easy to put together, and I think it fits for an AU where the Robins are working together but not with Batman, so they don’t have the resources for much. The vest is inspired by Jason’s clothing on the streets. I think this costume would look cool with fingerless gloves, but…fingerprints. The colors are more muted, but it maintains the same general color scheme. The costume is also more practical than the original Robin costume, but keeps the shorts and short sleeves.
The Blue Jay costume is supposed to be what a young teenage Jason might think is cool. I tried to make it look kind of Knight-ish, but I also added a blue bandana. I originally had the darker gold as a bright green. It looked a little too neon but I thought it was cool.
Flamebird Jason has been through the Lazarus Pit, but never became Red Hood. He has Hood’s red mask. The costume is somewhat similar to Nightwing’s, but instead of a bird across his chest, he has a wing at an angle that also kind of looks like a flame, and it uses red instead of blue.

One for an ambush!

More Three Musketeers? More Three Musketeers.
They were lucky they didn’t have to travel to Ferelden to retrieve the lost locket and save the Queen from a quicker demise, am I right?
Well here we are, as usual these days I wrote something about it. I may indulge in a full AU, this is much more a retelling with period-appropriate clothing (and Cassandra in a dress because the idea was funny).
***
At two in the morning, our three brave adventurers barged out of the Empress’ private quarters running back to the ballroom. They ran in the dark corridors in a tense silence: they had already bested so many ambushes that expecting another only seemed natural. They were all tired, and even Dorian couldn’t pretend anymore he was having fun at the Winter Palace, and had stopped trying to lighten the mood up two rooms ago.
All was silent, except for them: fretful steps echoing in the rich corridors covered in golden stuccos, heavy breathing and Cassandra’s shield making her dress frush whilst she ran, and the Seeker grumbling about it, irritated still after the whole evening. Aisling had the elven locket well secured in her tailored bodice -not so proper and retrieving it would surely cause some gasps if she wasn’t cautious about it, but she was more confident not to lose it that way, pockets just didn’t seem so secure in the chance of fighting. She had finally made her decision, the locket was crucial for her plans and time was running out. She caught sight of Cole, appearing near a glass door a little before them, and she need no further indication to correct her steps and run towards the spirit boy. She knew her friends would have followed.
She was almost at the door when the Anchor on her left hand activated, sending a jolt of electricity up her nerves. She hissed in discomfort and stopped abruptly, big skirt frushing in protest, clutching her left fist and holding her arm close to her chest. She could hear her heart thumping in her ears as she caught her breath and waited for the pain to subside a little. It wasn’t the constant background pain of Haven, when the Breach had been open and the mark itched constantly, but when she approached some rifts, it spiked and flared and for a couple of minutes it burned very uncomfortably. Which right now meant-
“Are you ok darling?” Dorian asked, in a low voice as he panted and caught his breath, rubbing her back nonetheless. Her dress was so tailored she couldn’t exactly feel it much, but she appreciated the gesture anyway, soothing as it was.
“Yes. It’s better now, I’m ok. But-“ She replied, and she was sincere.
“But, if there’s a rift, we found the assassin.” Cassandra concluded. She knew by now that it was her way of caring: just acting and doing things for you so you could rest. She turned and smiled at her, nodding in agreement.
“Well, saved us the trouble of slipping in yet another wing of the palace and get even more sweaty.” Dorian added, shrugging it off with sarcasm.
“Pride, sneer, she thinks she has won, dreams of a crowned head in a sea of blood, everything burns but she laughs at it.” Cole added his own.
“So it’s a she.”
Aisling huffed, lowering her arm and flexing her fingers to get used to the prickling of the Anchor, its green light casting an eerie glow on the marble pavement -who had marble as floor?- and on the red satin of her outer skirt, her right hand grabbing her staff more securely.
“I think I have an idea of whom she may be.” She added, grimly.
She casted glances first to Dorian, who smiled at her and nodded, signalling he was ready; then to Cole, who still looked paler than usual in the discomfort of so many people around, but whose blue eyes shone with determination. Lastly she looked at Cassandra, who looked as pristine as ever -and very weird in the dress that Josephine had forced her to wear- and still unstoppable even after hours of sneaking and fighting, and was the first to speak.
“Ready when you are, Inquisitor.”
“Let’s go kick some more asses.”
“Ready, eager, a last bout of energy. Let this end here.”
She smiled at them all, she wanted a group hug so bad, but there wasn’t time right now. Not if they wanted to save the Empress. That locket had to return to the ruler, and then she would have hugged them all. Right now, words would have to do.
“I’m glad it’s you kicking asses with me, my friends. One for all.”
“And all for one.” Cassandra replied, smiling with amusement at the quotation.
Aisling straightened her spine, put on her best Inquisitor face and marched out of the glass doors in the little courtyard. As she was imagining, there was a last ambush waiting for them. Duchess Florianne smiled at her, and after some -very stupid- confession of her being the mastermind behind the assassination attempt, left her to fend off a Fade Rift.
It was indeed time for another dance: this time, tho, it was her favourite steps, and with some of her favourite people. She raised her staff and let thunder and lightning dance with them.
