Can you believe it? This is the view from our cottage! It hardly can get any more romantic than this. White horses on a vast meadow and an old English farmhouse as a background. We really lucked out with our first accommodation, an ancient self-catering cottage, in the Cotswolds, in Wiltshire, England. It is so quite and peaceful here, just as I had hoped it would be, only better! We will go to bed early today to be fit for tomorrow, when we will be visiting Highgrove Gardens, the gardens of Prince Charles’ private residence. 🌊🌸UPCOMING WORKSHOP IN MAY🌸🌊 My next event is Goddess of the Water, where I will be sharing with you the energy and practices that have become a part of my everyday devotions since 2017. When I was in Mexico, the Goddess Yemoja introduced herself to me in a powerful physical way. It was the beginning of a romance with the feminine aspects of myself, a bright light of hope after a masculine dominated religious upbringing. We will be sharing the energy of the river where I met Hafren/Sabrina our local river goddess. She led me though a process of addressing the wounds of my maternal line through accepting things as they are and allowing myself to heal and grow. Our bodies will be taken through a yoga flow, we will commune in a tea ceremony and we will meditate on the process of flow and healing. This will be a time for you to completely wrap yourself in the waters of the Mother. It is a healing space. The workshop is taking place at @yahra.uk in the serene and beautiful space set in the lush countryside on the border of Worcestershire and the Cotswolds in Broadway. My third stop in the Cotswolds was probably the best out of them all, and that’s saying a lot as everywhere we went was brilliant. @thebullcharlbury was showcasing the best in British produce, and I wish we got more dishes now. The lamb shoulder was absolutely delicious, the monkfish was meaty, and literally that whole bowl of crispy roast potatoes was a fiver. The creamed leeks were special too. One of my favorite things to do here in the Cotswolds is to discover and explore small little villages off the beaten track of tourism. Even though the Cotswolds is a highly thought after area because of its beauty but I guess also because of its close proximity to London and Heathrow Airport, it is surprisingly still possible to find sleepy little villages where the time seem to have been standing still. One of such villages is Filkins and Broughton Poggs in which I photographed this charming cottage. I especially love the old slate shingles and the beautiful garden that the owner created around this gem of an ancient building. What do you think?
