Not trying to impose anything with what I'm about to say, but I think the theory/theories about S and C breaking up needs to be reeled in a little bit.

They have been more than generous with what little snippets they have shared with us over the last year, we shouldn't take that for granted, ya know? I agree with what the other anon said, about laying low for a while, but honestly I see it as more that they probably just don't have anything noteworthy to post. We should remeber they don't think about what shippers would like to see, they just post whatever they feel like.

When it comes to the ring, if it was for an actual engagement, imo I believe they would probably make an announcement of some kind. Regardless, of them not being full on public, it is such a huge milestone and Shayne would be wearing a wedding band later, there is no hiding that.

Now, with the shipping of Courtney and Spencer, I believe some people genuinely don't know about them and Shayne. Honestly, I lean more towards some people being starved of glimpses on socials, compared to that of earlier in the year.

I understand the nods and comparisons of their and Spencer's playful banter and it being compared to them and Shayne, but it isn't really the same.

Shayne and Courtney were over the top, borderline flirting for years and that covers so much territory. They play fought and were very touchy, on top of all the usual banter and teasing. Courtney is like this with everybody, you can say the same with Angela, Chanse, Damien, Ian, etc.

Take a minute and think about all the other ships including S and C and how they have pretty much died out.👇

I know that Shaymien is more platonic, but for a while it was split and Olivia I believe is still dating Sam and nobody questions their relationship from what I've seen.

With Shayne, it's certainly different. They have been glued at the hip since joining Smosh, hell they even auditioned together!

Just because they don't post, doesn't mean they've had to have broken up, you don't pine over someone for almost 10ish years and throw that away, unless it was something seriously catastrophic, which I highly doubt.

They seem committed and secure, and we shouldn't think the worse, all because they've been quiet for a little bit, they are people just like us after all, living life.
