sometimes (like right now) i wonder what would have happened if mollymauk hadn't died OR hadn't died so early on. like what would have happened for the rest of the campaign? would it have been lucien slowly becoming more sentient in molly's head and soul and the two parts of the soul slowly combating to have control of the body. besties we could have possibly had possessed like molly. instead of it being lucien being the final boss, would it be molly with lucien's part of the soul controlling him? THE ANGSG AND SHOCK AND HORROR WOULD BE URIWJDIIE.

and also the relationships! what would have happened? firm believer that molly and caleb would have been a thing™️. jester and molly would have been so chaotic together. we could have seen more yasha and molly. oh my christ, molly being a wingman.

then again, they probably would have been screwed and yasha would probably not be around anymore if it wasn't for caduceus.

Selkie: A Celtic mythological creature that is half seal and half woman, known for their seal skin coats...if someone takes a Selkie's coat, the selkie is then bound to them as their seal skin is what lets them return to the ocean.

Happy Mermay! I chose a Selkie/Harbor Seal for Veth because I thought the mythology lined up really well. Losing control of one's autonomy and body is something that really hit home for me as part of Veth's character and the whole story of the Selkie just fit too perfectly!

I came up with a lil CR Pokémon AU and here are my current thoughts on what partners the m9 would have:

Jester would have a Skitty as her partner and would enlist them into Pokémon Contests (they would get disqualified for slight destruction of property but whatever)

Caduceus would own a Polteageist. A lil ghost type inside a pot of tea, what ISNT there for Cad to love. Probably would make a visit or two to Lavender Town.

Fjord would find the concept of Dhelmise VERY intriguing. Would thrive in the Hoenn region specifically

You may need to hear me out here but. Yasha with a Flabebé. Typically they have their flowers to hang onto and frankly I think they'd make sweet companions

Molly, being Molly would definitely have one of the gen 5 psychic types. Or a Zorua. I'm not elaborating further.

Beau, being Beau would likely have a fighting-type companion. My personal bet is a Machop she can help train with.

My only thought with Caleb is cats. The thoughts of him with a Litten on his shoulder consume my mind.

And finally for Nott, Axew or Emolga. no elaboration, just one of those two.
