Delilah Briarwood has been killed three goddamn times so... is she a lich??? Her official status says “Dead (zombie)” but she’s confirmed to be Laudnas patron, and I don’t believe zombies are that powerful. Laudna is a warlock of the undying, so her patron is most likely someone like a lich or a vampire, but I don’t believe Sylas ever turned Delilah into a vampire.

In Cr1E114 it was revealed that the reanimated Delilah was beheaded (and presumably killed) but the fact that she’s hanging around Laudna means she’s still here to some degree.

Jesus what if Laudna is something like a horcrux for her, or is somehow her phylactery? Laudna was definitely killed by the Briarwoods or by something related to the Briarwoods.... but then just. Brought back. And she doesn’t know what by, but she’s clearly close enough to Delilah’s voice to have a nickname for her (’D’) and seems more... amusedly annoyed? by her. I guess 30 odd years of having someone else in your head will do that.

Delilah is also a necromancy wizard so she could definitely have reanimated Laudna (either on purpose or by accident). Maybe that’s how Laudna became her warlock?
