Secret Keeper/George is so cute. Unexpected, but adorable. I really liked the writers giving us glimpses of George’s softer side, since he’s pretty much always been positioned as an antagonist. 

Secret Keeper not being able to bring himself to attack and hurt George was everything. 

Hoping that once George and Secret Keeper grow closer we see George return the favor by refusing to do something that would hurt Secret Keeper. (Maybe protecting him from Eliza wanting revenge?)

What if the number Jason gave Nicole was his mom (that is, his biological mom I mean, the one who gave birth to him) rather than, say, his dad or stepmom who he lives with?

What if he specifically did that because he sees her as more approachable despite her not living with him? (And despite potentially witnessing arguments between her and his dad prior to a divorce, given the way he seems to flinch when an argument crops up between Bernard and Craig.)

And what if she actually is more approachable but can’t do much about what’s going on without, like, going to court over it because she doesn’t hold main custody (or maybe even lives far away)? But she can still talk with Nicole and technically give the go-ahead regarding giving permission/asking the favor of Jason staying the night?

Like, IDK, I just get the vibe he didn’t give his dad or stepmom’s number.))

Finished up the first half of season 5 of craig of the creek, and looks like it's gonna be months before the second half releases, sooooo looks like I'm not gonna be posting about it as much anymore. The Heart of the Forest miniseries was REALLY good, and I really enjoyed the whole thing. I still need to watch the movie, and there's a few shorts to watch, but then I'll be up to date on all a' that.

I'm REALLY curious what the next 10 episodes hold since Craig LOST HIS MAP?!?! Like....is it gonna be him recovering? Time jumps? Making a new map?

I wonder if the previous map from the ancients of the creek will come into play? I wonder if any of the episodes are gonna be more for fun or if they'll all be pretty heavy and relevant episodes. I'm not sure and I've got ZERO Idea on what could happen. ahjfghadghsadg I'm so nervous about how it's gonna end!! I can't wait

I like Jason from Craig of the creek. He’s cool, is a Boy Scout, is very polite and I feel bad for him. His dad doesn’t pay much attention to him unless he wants to brag about him to his co workers and his step mom wishes he was a Chihuahua since she seems to be more comfortable around them. Jason deserves a better family.

Craig of the Creek “Craig and the Kids Table” highlights

I love Craig of the Creek, and the half-hour Thanksgiving special “Craig and the Kids Table” is especially funny.  There are so many parts I enjoyed about the episode.  Here are just some of them:

Gus, the feral cat that Granddad dislikes, especially when he comes in through the window that Craig opened and knocks over the second pie and Craig imagines him saying “You’ll never sit at the adult table, Bernard!”

Craig, Bernard & Jessica’s cousin Jasmine just shows up to the dinner unannounced and (temporarily) reclaims Bernard’s seat at the adult table, so Bernard is forced to sit in one of the tiny chairs at the kids table!

When Bernard accidentally ruins the first pie and says “Sweet potatoes!” (except he doesn’t actually say “sweet potatoes” - it was likely in place of a swear word, probably “shit”, which, of course, can’t be shown on a kids show!)  Craig, Bryson & Jessica (who suddenly pops out of a cabinet while playing hide-and-seek) all go “Oooooooooh!”

Jessica using her little-kid charm and cuteness to distract the adults with magic tricks while Craig and Bernard make the second pie.

Duane and Darnell acting like little kids over who cleans the dishes, as well as many other arguments they’ve had over the years.

That it turns out that Grandma doesn’t make her sweet potato pies - she buys them every year at Duck Mart!

And that this episode has many references to nostalgia - Bryson calls the iPod that Bernard gives him to distract the adults a “relic”; the iPod plays tunes that actually sound like 90s R & B and hip-hop music; and Darnell even mentions the Mariah Carey Christmas album at one point!
