Crash Fever's global server just closed. 😢😢😢 What, you say? And I don't blame you, I never see any one talk about this game.

I got into the game completely by accident. A few of characters got idol versions and they recorded songs to promote it and I came across a song sung by Zhuang Zi and Hui Shi's seiyuu: Shinnosuke Tachibana and Daisuke Namikawa respectively. And the cover art had the unit pic and it was cool and I wanted to know what this thing was. This is the unit btw, you can take one look at Zhuang Zi (the grey-haired one) and tell I might have a type.

So I found out it was a game and looked fun and it had English version, so I downloaded and kept playing it for a few years. And, I didn't know it when but turned out Hikaru Midorikawa voiced a character in it too, Cao Cao. He quickly became one of my favourites because he's funny with bombastic lines and always trying to conquer something, even summer festival stalls. I got bridegroom version early and he has been staple in my blue teams.

The premium currency shop was terribly expensive and I was F2P with one exception: when I had to get Cao Cao summer festival version (one of his lines is "That plushie is mine!" but he sounds more like Jiang Cheng than Eichi here, so it's funny):

The art style is so nice! Look-wise I really really love Newton (the units are named in various ways and the ones named after real or folklore/legend characters may or may not correspond to their real gender):

And the game has insane amount of collaborations and they rerun too. For example, there has been multiple Vocaloid ones, Konosuba, That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime, Prisma Illya, Fire Force and Re:Zero. Bride Emilia unit. <3
