Another thing I love about The Raven Cycle is that it’s an entire four book series about fate and prophecy and escaping the narrative, but if you pay close attention you can see that the entire time, miniature prophecies are coming to fruition throughout the entire series. Niall Lynch tells his middle son that the day he was born, it rained blood, and Aurora told him ravens laughed. On the day Gwenllian is raised from her tomb, both occur. At the beginning of the second book, Gansey mentions that Glendower had magicians with him that could change the weather and tell the future. By the end, Gansey has both (Ronan, with his miniature suns and Adam, his psychic). Gansey approaches Ronan in the church in the first book, and is sure that his voice wakes Ronan from death. And then in the third, his voice has exactly that power.

in Into The Spiderverse we see Miles meet Peter

his colors originally look like this. green and purple. which are his “canon” colors and are supposed to represent him

but then they change. they turn red and blue signifying the change of canon and therefore his fate.

so instead of him becoming an enemy to Spiderman, he becomes a friend to spiderman.

and instead of Earth 42 Miles becoming spiderman, he becomes the prowler in a world where spiderman can no longer exist.

Leaving it up to chaos, returning to the room in Cellbit’s castle and flipping a coin. Saying it wouldn’t have mattered if he had used a coin or marbles or any other method, “destiny arrives all the same.” The coin landing face up, cementing Cellbit’s fate.

okay, so, i might be looking too much into this, but hear me out.

in s1ep1 of carmen sandiego (2019), when carmen's recounting her backstory to gray, she talks about letting her friends tag along to greet cookie booker by throwing water balloons at her. there are 5 of them in their little criminal friend group (or as i like to call them, the crimesters™), and they throw red water balloons. they throw five red water balloons at cookie booker. and ms booker is obviously a pretty important person in vile, as she is the bookkeeper and she delivers the hard drive.

and there are five official team red members. and they go against vile. using the hard drive. the water balloons represent the future team red. oh my god

maybe im just tired and making things up, but if this is the case then that would be some amazing foreshadowing

Okay, so I JUST finished Season 3 of Leverage- but I have to rewatch Season 3 (my mom wants to watch the season with me- I got way too excited and I couldn't wait to watch it.) Anyway, I'm rewatching Season 1 episode 1- (just because.)

Anyway- after watching them grow with each other- going back and hearing them not wanting to work together is hilarious.

Like when the bomb went off; who went out first? Parker, Hardison, and Eliot.

When Hardison tripped? Eliot pulled him up.

In the hospital? They kept Eliot in the same room as Nate. They had Hardison and Parker share a same room.

When they went and collected Sophie; All their expressions were accurate and haven't changed.

It was suppose to be a one and done. Walk away. Clean their hands of each other.

But their bad guys and sometimes bad guys are sometimes the only good guys.

They can't walk away.
