So I was watching that old CGI trailer for Warframe's New War expansion then watched the remastered cutscenes for Halo 2 from the Master Chief Collection and cinematics from Modern Warfare 2 remake and it made me realize that you could legitimately make the most beautiful and visually brilliant show ever if you just gave Studio Blur a blank check.

Studio Blur (The animators behind those three and a bunch of other stuff) is what I would consider the greatest 3d Animation studio working today. They have made so many visually brilliant and borderline photorealistic stuff and they do in such a way that the realism doesn't feel boring. You can tell every expression, nothing feels out of place and it all looks so fluid and good. I really can't describe how wasted they are making league of legends trailers when they should be doing much more.

Imma be honest. I firmly believe the only way for a 40K amazon show to look good is if they got the special effects and practical design guys from the Mandalorian or if Amazon somehow got Studio Blur and let them go crazy wild with the budget.

Pavement - Melkweg, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, March 2, 1994

30 years of Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain?! I guess that is a milestone worth marking. As a 15-year-old high schooler, CRCR was my first exposure to Pavement — and it was pretty much love at first listen.

The timing was just right. In the spring of 1994, I was spending more and more time with my friends in the garage playing music, horsing around, fending off ye olde teen angst. Pavement is great for many reasons, but one of the big ones for me is that not many other bands capture so well that feeling of making a hilarious racket with your pals, reaching towards (and rarely grasping) some kind of oddball togetherness. What does it mean, a mistake or two, (im)perfect sound forever, elevate me later.

Anyway! Here is what must've been one of the very first shows that Pavement played in support of Crooked Rain, all the way out in Amsterdam, via the awesome Acid Casualties channel. A short-but-sweet VPRO radio broadcast featuring some of the new tunes, plus some cool dips into the back catalogue. Luck on every finger!

Wanted to get in on the @mommyclan action! This is Hazydawn. She's autistic and epileptic, and too disabled to be a warrior, both because her seizures endanger her and because the more complex and physically demanding tasks of a warrior are impossible for her. She understands this, and has long since accepted it. She mostly likes to stay in camp. She can usually be found playing with the kits or in the medicine den for a check-up or getting a small wound disinfected. Sometimes she can be persuaded to walk around the territory, but she prefers to stick with what she knows. She's fascinated by the behavior of other cats and often sits around and just watches them.

A background I did at CRCR for the video clip of valorant champion 2023 - ticking away. It was a beautiful project to work, thank to them for the opportunity. I did this project under the supervision of Simon Dumonceau and his stunning colorscript, that was an amazing background team to work with @louise-auxcimes @paulinemauviere Rita Fonseca Benjamin Moulin and Simon Masse and the beautiful storyboard by ninoc studio put all the bases on the compositons of the backgrounds on this project! loved to work with this great material !

Had a horse color genetics nerd moment last night thinking about submas and kelpies and realizing the twins could be kelpie twins but keep their own color schemes with the black and cream genes,,,,

Because a smoky black horse just looks like a black horse, normally, but if you add two cream genes you get a smoky cream horse which still has a black base but looks white. Ingo’s geno would be Ee aa nCr nZ (silver smoky black) while Emmet’s would be Ee aa CrCr nZ (silver smoky cream), so Ingo would look like a black horse with a white mane while Emmet would simply look like a white/creamy colored horse, BUT they could be twins. Their parents would both have to have a single cream (Cr) gene, but since the red (aa) gene is a horse’s base color which is affected by other genes (most commonly the extension gene aka ee) their mother could be a palomino (ee aa nCr) while their father a smoky black (either EE or Ee aa nCr) which would give Ingo one cream gene (heterozygous) and Emmet two (homozygous)
