I'm back! Also starting my own baking business.

I know I've been inactive for a very long time. A lot of stuff happened and my love of the blog, baking, food, etc was just going downhill. A sparked happen and I have decided to come back. I miss blogging. I miss pretty much everything about blogging.

Until just a few months ago. I realized that my dream of opening up my very own bakery is still in my heart.

NY just allowed people to become home processors and bake at home. As opposed to renting a commercial kitchen. Just a tiny few restrictions of what to make but it doesn't require any crazy type fees. So I sent in my application and waiting for it to approve but I came up with the name for it; 'Nonna Maria's Dolce Boutique' in honor of my late maternal grandmother.

My mother will be giving me recipes that she learned from my grandmother so I'll be adding some Italian goodies as well. I'm very excited to start this journey.

My end goal would probably be opening up a brick and mortar bakery but this is a marathon, not a sprint. I'm looking forward to becoming my own boss and see how my dream will progress.

Went back to being just a strictly food blog. Formerly createbakecelebrate.

I decided to just post food content as opposed to craft content. I originally started out as a dessert blog, confectionerybliss, then I progressed to make it a savory food blog.

As the year went by, I decided to add crafts and change the name to createbakecelebrate. It was okay for a bit but flash forward to the present.

I wanted to revamp the name to go along with the blog once again being a food blog so I chose yourfoodiedesires which it will stay this way. Thanks for bearing with me while I decided to find my niche blogging style.

Lol! Nope. I haven't. That cleaning list post wasn't my own doing. I just found it on someecards website and just reposted it. To be honest, I'd use it as a guideline and not a list to follow each and every thing. Just customize it to whether or not your life allows you to do something. Not everyone has an infinite amount of time. :) Thanks for the question!

Halloween has come and gone..

It’s that time of the year: Start of Halloween & autumn posts!

Sorry for the lack of postings these past few months. Life has gotten a little bit hectic but I am back. Like so many others that I know, Halloween is everyday for me but I get a whole lot more into the spirit of the season and holiday in July. 

I will include autumn and Halloween posts along with the usual posts so stay tuned! Also, I would like to say hi to my new followers!

Lol. Believe it or not, some people actually do this aka my momma since she cleans houses for a living so she’s pretty much anal about how clean everything needs to be. I still love her though. I might have inherited some of those qualities. Must also have to do with us being 100% Italian or something too. Haha.

Either way, I love seeing all the different reactions regarding the post. I’d take this list as a guideline because let’s be realistic, it’s just not doable in some circumstances!

your "how to clean your house" advice was really good but saying "aka being an adult" is a little attacking so, maybe im getting defensive because i don't clean my shower walls everyday, but try being a little more sensitive next time

Well to be fair, that title wasn’t my words. It is actually from the website where I got the whole post from. Hence the source link but I do apologize that I did not change it before posting it. I changed it now.

Also I had written a post saying that I would use the post as a guideline because realistically, everyone’s situation does not allow them to do all of that.

Working with a logo designer:

I’m thinking of having two different images made so they can be turned into shirts, t-shirts, hoodies, ect. I found the perfect logo designer who will help me get the ball rolling on designs. I just need to come up with ideas on what they should be. I’m thinking one of the designs will be a homage to the confectionerybliss blog I had before changing into this blog.

Once she finishes the logos and I approve them, she will transfer all the rights to me so that means I am able to sell products with them. I’m super excited about this since I wanted to do this for the longest time, but I suck at drawing. I’m happy to have found her.

ah yeah! Ni Hoowa Supermarket is nice! it's just down the road from Tianyi. it's very big too. a friend of mine also suggested Hana Mart to me the other day. I think it's new? I'm hoping to check it out this weekend! I'm always amped up to find UCC coffee and red bean things! also anything matcha oh my god. I love trying new snacks ✨

I’ve heard about both places! I moved to Buffalo in 2015, and Hana Mart apparently has been around since 2013. I’m going by their Facebook page. I pass it almost every single day. I definitely need to check it out ASAP with the fiance`.

Red bean things are delish! Yes, matcha is so goood. I also love anything with taro. I’ve tried the instant ramen that Tianyi carries. They are pretty good. Although, I need to try out Sato Ramen. I hear their ramen is amazing!

Trying new things is awesome.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! That place is amazing. I go there every chance I get especially to see if they have any new products. I also love how adorable the registers are with that cute wallpaper in the background. 

I have yet to check out the other local Asian markets around here. I used to subscribe to Tokyo Treat but had to cancel my subscription so I was stoked when I found out about Tianyi. I’m hoping they get some Sakura Ramune sometime in the future. Other than that, I am happy to try out other goodies that they have to offer.

So awesome to meet a fellow Buffalonian. :D
