An open letter to the Hermitcrft community:

We as a community really need to put our foot down when it comes to toxic members in our ranks. The number of times a Hermitcraft member (or cat cough cough) gets included in a poll only for it to end with death threats is INSANE.

Not to mention the hard time Gem has been having with hate comments and assholes recently.

We like to pride ourselves on being a great community, and a lot of us turn a blind eye to the toxic people because 'oh they're a minority, every fandom has them!' and yes, they are a minority. However, we're letting them be FAR too loud.

If you see someone being hateful in our community, SHUT THEM DOWN. Be respectful, be mindful, but do not let them drag others down with their words. This community can be so lovely, I'd hate for a few assholes to ruin our (already shaky) image.

Always an experience watching the leftism leave FNAF fans when someone mentions that Scott Cawthon financially backed fascist politicians.

The switch from posting hardline leftist tweets about boycotts and signal boosts and critical takedowns of politicians and celebrities to ‘ohhh, well. everyone makes mistakes. who can blame him, listen he. he donated money to gay charities too. that makes it ok! a millionaire in his forties is allowed to have political beliefs. does it even matter? just let it go!’ is whiplash inducing. The charity thing is so funny too because suddenly utilitarian positive-negative point counting is the way to go. In the effort to be as transparent as possible with animation fun stuff, here's a pie chart breakdown for the costs for Ep 3 of Monkey Wrench. (which is out VERY SOON)

I'm able to do all the storyboards, designs and backgrounds and a majority of the animation myself (because I'm insane), if I were unable to do so then costs could EASILY burst past $100K+

The sad reality of the situation is;

Money = Thing getting made.

No money = Thing not getting made.

AUDREY’S VOID METHOD

This worked for me after a couple nights and I successfully entered the void. Here’s how I did it <3

1. Lie down in a comfortable position (it’s rlly hot where I live so I didn’t have any covers on me or anything, I was literally just lay there with nothing covering me)

2. Listen to Edward Art’s ‘I am’ meditation on YouTube :)

3. Put on brown noise (I put the meditation and the brown noise in a playlist so it would play automatically after)

4. Focus on the black behind your eyes and continue to imagine that everything surrounding you is just empty blackness

5. Repeatedly affirm for the void, don’t keep checking if you’re there, try to distract yourself

6. You’re in the void!

This worked for me after a couple tries, but that’s not to say you shouldn’t get results earlier. It’s all about mindset. Persist and I promise you’ll get there.
