My brain isn't working fantastically right now so this may not be super coherent, but I'm having Thoughts on the way Morgan profiles, especially in season one, where he has these moments of "okay, I'm the unsub. Why do I..." while the rest of the team says "okay, why would the unsub..." even when he's not talking about the psychology of the unsub (which he isn't really in this scene: this scene is him realising that the victim didn't hear the unsub break the silverware because he did it after killing her) even the language he uses differs from the rest of the team.

I don't know. I might come back to this more coherently later, but I think Morgan's empathy is one of his strongest traits, and I think the fandom, and sometimes the writers, forgets that in lieu of portraying him as Macho Man #503 (can't imagine why... /s)

I think the rest of the team, as skilled as they are, tends to stand on the outside and guess what being on the inside may have felt like, while Morgan tries (and often succeeds) at getting inside.

I started season 15 so here are a few of my thoughts:

1) during the Rossi and Krystalls wedding you can see how Luke and Penelope were dancing. Made me really happy. Which was needed because i really do not like the whole Spencer/JJ storyline they started.

2) Whenever they are in the conferenceromm Luke now sits next to Garcia. You know you could just say it is coincidence but to me with my GARVEZ glasses on it looks like a deliberate choice.

3) WHAT WAS THAT ENTIRE CONVERSATION IN 15x07? You know the one where Garcia tells Luke she should worship at her throne and he picks up the phone and answers: But i do, i do. You know i do“ COME ON!

4) also there has been no actual mention of Lisa for a few episodes. I can‘t remeber when they break up.

5) i love the banter between Garcia and Luke. I have to say it was a bit stall in season 14 and now we are back in full swing.

Season 5 of criminal minds is the season that keeps giving, honestly. They got rid of prentiss’ bangs and remembered that her key character trait is Snark^tm. The script writers started tapping into prentiss and Morgan’s unhinged energy. They stopped explaining what profiling is every five minutes. the 7 people on the team are the ones we all really agree are the REAL bau. Reid gets funnier. Garcia gets crazier. JJ is confident and looks so good that you can forgive her her bangs. You can see that Hotch and Rossi are incredibly endeared by the antics but trying not to show it. dream team supreme eating ice creme
