      「Good evening, Majima-san〜」 Mukuro said with a genuine smile as she walks into the meeting room。 Out of those who employed her, Majima was one of, if not the only, favorites to work for, mainly because she honestly thought he was a fun person to be around。 Since this wasn’t a karaoke or bowling date, she acted a bit more professionally。

      「So who would you like to get some dirt on today〜？」 She asks, as she sits comfortably across from him。

The comment had caught Akiyama off guard. They were supposed to go out drinking, not give life advice here! He waved his hand dismissively, “Majima-san, since when do you give out relationship advice?” he chuckled, although now he had been curious of the other man’s relationships. Majima wasn’t wrong though, Akiyama really should make a move before someone else did but despite having charm and good looks the money lender often ended up having bad luck with his relationships.

“You ever think about marrying someone?”

“Me?!” Majima scoffed and then sighed. The gentleman doth protest too much. “I jus’ know a good woman when I see one, an’ she’s good to ya. That’s all. Seen her stood at the top of the stairs ‘fore ya came out - eyes full o’... I dunno, whatever chicks think about.”

His gaze drifted toward the shining rows of bottles lined up behind the bar, a wry smile on full lips as if he couldn’t believe what he was about to admit.

“Think about it? I did marry her.” And he had loved her too, hard and fierce enough that it had torn the two of them apart. In the end though, that hadn’t been enough for either of them. They were both to blame - and him most of all, he knew that only too well. “But that’s old news. When’re ya gunna ask her out, huh?”

Bara hadn’t come here for a fight, but a fight it had become - not just her own, but Ryuji’s too.  Now that their battlefield of choice - a scrubby little patch of land crammed in beside the Champion District - had finally thinned out, she was bruised and visibly shaken despite her attempts to hide it. Wiping her bloodied nose on the formerly-white sleeve of her hoodie, she marched over to the tall blonde with purpose - looking like she might take a swing at him herself.

“Oi, dumbass!” Not the most delicate opening, growled thickly round a tongue she had bitten in the fray, “Down here.”

The two of them looked just as feral as one another in the shadows. When he turned to look at her, she rose up, closing the gap between their height by seizing his collar and pressing a mucky kiss firmly to his lips, smudged eyes squeezed shut.

“Fuck you.”

      as  much  as  majima  admired  the  dedication  yuki  had  to  her  job  ,      he  couldn’t  help  but  feel  quite  concerned  for  the  hostess  .      she  surely  was  a  hard  worker  and  incredibly  dedicated  to  her  work  ,  but  for  majima  to  overwork  or  instill  a  much-too-vigorous  work  routine  for  his  girls  was  a  quiet  fear  in  the  back  of  his  head  .

Overall I mean… With your job and all that? Sometimes that’s a good start when you’re trying to look for some soul searching answers.”

“Yeah! I mean, well. Kinda. I love my job. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. But I wanna do it better, I wanna be the best. I wanna get top billing again like I had in Yokohama. It’s like... I dunno, if there’s more competition or if it’s just tougher out here, but I don’t feel like I’m getting anywhere. Maybe I should be looking at a new club, huh?” Tenji traced the rim of his glass with a slender finger and sighed.

“What would you do, if you were me?”

Relationship Musings

Akiyama - Knowing how well Akiyama has a way with people, I think he’s somebody that Futaba would be able to loosen up with fairly quickly once she gets over the suit. (She’d quite like to team up with him in the metaverse, she thinks he would be a natural!)

Goda - I think Futaba would want to change his heart... especially once she learned the motivation behind his actions. She would ultimately be sympathetic to how the world made him, but she wouldn’t be able to forgive his actions. Perhaps changing his heart would make his pain easier to deal with, too.

Kage - I think initially, Futaba would be very reticent about speaking directly with Kage - he’s quite intimidating! But over time, his calm manner would win her over. While he masters in physical surveillance, Futaba excels digitally, and between them there would be very little they don’t know or couldn’t find out! Definitely a father-daughter relationship, and maybe ultimately he might pass his title down to her as a guardian and spymaster of Kamurocho.

Majima - Why is Majima always the most difficult??? He should be EASY! Buuuut, I think if they met under the right circumstances, they could be weird friends - especially if Futaba ends up working with Kage. Majima’s boys just drop whatever they’re doing to fawn over her because they know the hell they’ll get if they don’t look after the Lil’ Sprout. I think they could also have some really interesting conversations and adventures on account of both being a bit chaotic and strange, but both highly intelligent. She likes to continually remind him that her Very Important friendship has monetary value and he’d better make a transfer if he wants to continue their business agreement ;P Majima, the platonic glucose guardian to the evil genius of Kamurocho.

Saejima - OKAY but imagine: Saejima finding Futaba while she’s having a bit of a meltdown. She thought she could handle early evening Kamurocho but it’s a big NOPE because she keeps getting bombarded by overenthusiastic hosts and hides herself away in one of the concrete parks. Saejima scares her even more at first, but he’s kind and buys her a soda from the nearest vending machine and stays with her until she’s calmed down enough for him to walk her back to the station to go home (and/or help her achieve her mission!)

Shinada - I mentioned this before but I really like the idea of Futaba getting into sports anime, and then getting into real life baseball as an expansion of that obsessive interest.  She gets fixated on Shinada’s team and eventually works up the courage to go to a meet-and-greet in Shibuya ahead of the big leagues. She’s texting Shinada all the while and sends him a sneaky photo of her favourite player at the event who - who would have guessed - turns out to be Shinada himself! Otherwise, I can just see them being really goofy buddies who maybe meet up in person after texting for a really long time and go to eSports events and CHICKEN RACING together 💚 ... and beetle racing, and snail racing, caber tossing, cheese rolling, extreme sheep shearing...

The city life was exciting. Catalina could admit that but at times it was far too busy for her liking. Even when she was vacationing with a friend, she decided to go on a head and enjoy the night life. Vibrant colors, signs and various other elements she didn’t understand too well. Though there was an error in her plans though. Especially since the taxi didn’t take cards. She thought she took out money just for an event as such but fate said otherwise.

From her bag she shuffled to find anything at this point. Her tarot set was enough to put her at ease but she really wondered if anyone would bother with this. With a small breath to mentally prep herself, she finds a spot to carefully plop herself down. The cards were removed from the box and just like that the shuffling and cutting began. Her eyes glanced at those that roamed by, steeling her nerves enough to just finally blurt it out.

“Fortune readings!“ Her voice trembles as she keeps her eyes on the cards, gripping them tightly as she calls out her service for the night once more, “500 yen readings!“

Don’t want to be cliche or anything like that. But one of Kiryu’s biggest turn offs are people who aren’t real with him. 

Don’t play games with him or his heart. That’s not saying being competitive and actually playing games aren’t fine. But Kiryu prefers those who no matter what, will be themselves: because there will be people who will love them for themselves. And if Kiryu is being himself, he would rather it be a mutual respect kind of thing.

And if you cant be yourself. Kiryu doesn’t have time to have fake people in his life.

It was true that maybe Akiyama wasn’t really in the position to give Bara any good relationship advice. Just because Akiyama had been in a relationship in the past didn’t make him any kind of expert to be in the position to tell Bara anything about her own situation. “Heh, you’re right. I’m probably not the best person to be scolding you for these things. Just don’t want you making the same mistakes I did.”

“It’s not a big deal, is it? ... is it? I mean- I don’t have to-. I mean, I don’t have to be in love with a guy to sleep with him, right? Right. So, does it matter?” Except it sort of did matter. “It’s not like he’d care if-. Ugh.”

She sighed irritably and shook her head, folding her arms tightly across her chest and glaring out of the nearest window, cheeks flushed.

“I hate people.”

   majima let out a long exhale ,  sliding his blade back into its floral sheath and looking downwards at one of the thugs out cold against the pavement : a common sight now-a-days in kamurocho , he felt like .  despite being visibly somewhat out of breath , he still managed a content laugh .

     “  yeah, it ain’t a problem...   ya’ must be doin’ a damn good job then ,  considerin’ how much of a fight they managed to put up--  sendin’ their best men, huh ?  “      he joked , eye peering from their surroundings  (  jeez , 5 ... 6 men ?!   how competitive IS this industry ?!?! ) back to akiyama with a satisfied grin .
