I often see people complaining about fans who go, "Essek did nothing wrong!" and I'm always thinking, "...Where are these fans?" Lol, because the only time I've ever seen people echoing those sentiments was when they were doing it sarcastically. I'm sure people who do it genuinely must be out there, but it sure doesn't seem like there's enough of them for it to be the trend people are saying it is. Like, even the most passionate Essek fans I know don't deny he fucked up.

Moments of Caleb being being sweet and soft towards Jester, #MightyNeinReunited Part 1 remix:

- OOC, but Liam being really worried Jester would die in the beginning.

- Caleb telling Jester it was good to hear from her first and foremost in responding to her anxious message.

- Liam SPECIFICALLY making it so Caleb had a separate entrance from the rest of the group on the beach so his welcome wouldn’t be lost in the sauce, Jester going “it’s Caleb shark!”, and her hugging him when he turns back- and him getting a little flustered like he does, going “oh hey hi Jester.”

- Caleb bluescreening when Jester said she died (she didn’t).

- Caleb saying “ready to play our old game again… friend?” to Jester regarding polymorphing into eagles (and making a blank face after confirming Fjord would be doing so as well).

I’m being so indecisive right now euGH 

I’m currently on episode 28 of mighty nein right? But people have been talking about bells hells a lot and that sounds super interesting. ALSO - I’ve been seeing a bunch of stuff for vox machina and that one ALSO sounds super interesting.

Like all of the campaigns are super cool and I know the earlier ones aren’t gonna be leaving any time soon , I just feel very scrambled. It’s the feeling of I wanna consume it all but I also wanna do one at a time for burn out reasons.

Summary: The Mighty Nein return to Rexxentrum to confront Caleb's attackers. The plan, surprisingly, goes off with only a slight hitch.

Caleb, still recovering from his injuries, is forced to confront the man who'd tormented him with Trent Ikithon's face alone.

I don't know if this is addressed in the post-campaign two shot,(saving that for after a C2 re-watch) but in thinking about Campaign two, (specifically, Fjord's storyline) something clicked in my brain. Something that made the dynamic between Uk'otoa and his warlocks even creepier in hindsight.

In episode 112, a deep scion had something that allowed him to find Fjord's Cloven Crystal: even in Caleb's amber necklace. In other words, Uk'otoa and his minions had the means to trace these Crystals. Probably long before the Mighty Nein came along.

Take that information. Now put it together with this fact: Uk'otoa also....placed his Cloven Crystals into his warlocks' bodies. This was the case with Fjord. And Avantika. And possibly Vandran and/or the guy he stole his from.

In other words, this motherfucker was microchipping his pets.

Looking back, this adds an extra dimension to the dreams Fjord would have after he abandoned the quest to set his patron free.

It wasn't just: "Hey, jackass, you're taking too long."

It was: "I know damn well from the tracker I put in you that you're going in the opposite direction I told you to. Get your green ass back to the sea!"

I hope that's something they take into account for the series. Because it's so delightfully gross.
