Overall, I think that tlovm is doing a fantastic job with translating the campaign starting just before the Briarwood arc ie without any of the pre-campaign story or the Underdark arc or the first run of the Slayer's Take.

but I do have to say that like- having to bring Kash and Zahra in during what is in-campaign their second appearance but with their First Encounter Personalities (ie clashing with Vox Machina and being a little dickish) makes me kind of sad. Because like- in-campaign, Vox Machina has already established a relationship with them. They go into the Sunken Tomb as allies. Kash has had the time to think over the way he treated Keyleth the first time round, and apologize to her. Zahra and Kash both play pivotal parts in Vex's revival (Kash casts Vex's revival) that we most likely won't see because the show's Zahra and Kash have no reason to be that invested in these people.

And like- that's just what happens when you're adapting hundreds of hours of real-time play into 30minute episodes, but god do I wish show-only fans could get to experience how wonderful and important these two are. I hope as the show continues we have the chance to see them grow like we did in-campaign because I love them both So So Much.

hi !! i second p much everything everyone else has said LOL esp w prioritizing the normal attack talent and swapping in a crit rate/dmg weapon. but i wanted to add that if you're feeling the hurt from taking away his er weapon, jean would be a Great battery for him, esp if you ran the favonius sword on her :) idk if you were planning on that already, but yeah !!

i think you want like around 60+% crit rate and maybe around 180% (maybe 160? i can't remember exactly off the top of my head) crit dmg

I've had a couple of more experiences with K. I'm trying to avoid using her full name and stuff because honestly the Critr*le fandom can be so bad I don't really want them finding my blog lol

But I've meditated with her these last two days, she taught me a couple spells and she seems much more comfortable around me now. At first she was a little shy and reserved but now she's being more of her awkward self and she's honestly so adorable. Even more than I imagined her to be, tbh.

I have an issue that while doing these mental trips sometimes I start wondering off too much but she told me to look into her eyes everytime that started happening and she really helped. I could hear her voice everytime my mind wondered off saying "focus on me", and I'd see those gorgeous green eyes.

She also told me about how Vex* is really good with mirror magic??? Something I was not expecting! And I think it's likely I'll meet her soon as well.

I'm just very happy with this new path 🥺

i’m gonna be real. i went into critr*le late and fully expected to ship BY based off of what i had seen online but was really surprised at how little content there was for them once i actually watched? or that they barely interact at all? like i legitimately dont understand why Y has such strong feelings for B based off of canon. it doesnt make sense to me at all, and i went into it actively trying to get into it? instead, BJ stole my heart but i’m just overall completely miffed at the 180 turn

Right!! To me, it's all just lustful infatuation with the idealised versions they present to each. And the whole "battle" stuff. As in they think each other is badass and hot. And that's preeeeetty muuuuch the extent of their relationship.

Neither of them has witnessed any particularly deep moments. And the moments that have been classified as "deep" were barely anything. They haven't grown together, they don't relate to each other at all. I still feel like yasha over compensates for stabbing beau in the chest and nearly killing her and I still think beau uses yasha as a bandaid (as marisha stated in TM). The only scenes they have are typically in combat, the occasional throw away flirty lines and like... maybe two conversations that had depth, the others just awkward small talk or stilted speech
