In 2022, I saw an ask for @rexismycopilot talking about different tattoos people could get that are Star Wars themed, but not overtly Star Wars. That exchange gave me the idea to make an Obikin cross stitch that was Obikin, but not overtly Obikin. I landed on flowers that represented their story, or at least how I interpreted it. lol

I sent an ask to Rex with the idea and she was so kind and supportive I made a pattern right away! And then I changed the "final one" probably 8 to 10 times. Thank you Rex for letting me show you different versions as I went!

I finally had time to make a personal project last month, so I made myself print the pattern out and get to stitching. (If I tweaked it several more times while actually making it, shh, no I didn't).

To be able to see all of the flowers, I definitely messed with their proportions and the scale, but I think it turned out alright. This is the most complicated pattern I've made up, and I could probably adjust it forever and still not be completely satisfied, but I'm glad I finally made it. I can't wait to get a frame next week and hang it up!
