more ineffable domestic husbands
Moving in together has its challenges (don't worry, the books are fine. Crowley isn't a bastard)

Funniest thing about Crowley living in his car is like. He still has his demon powers. He could so easily use miracles and his temptation skills to get himself a new flat. But he hasn't.
I can only assume he's petulantly and stubbornly waiting for Aziraphale to ask him to move in.

watching good omens with someone who is watching for the first time and just for fun is an insane experience. what do you mean you can just laugh at crowley shouting at his plants without having a mental breakdown because you realize he is projecting on them and is actually deeply traumatized?

aziraphale: *hanging mistletoe*
gabriel: what's that?
aziraphale, dismissive: oh, it's nothing. just a human tradition I'm rather fond of
gabriel, steps closer: cool. what happens?
aziraphale, happy: ah, well, during the holiday season, humans would hang this *gestures to the mistletoe* above people's heads and whomever was caught underneath would be required to share a kiss
gabriel, nodding: okay *pauses* why?
aziraphale, sighs: because it's fun
gabriel: I dunno. seems like it would cause a lot of problems, if you ask me
crowley: *enters*
aziraphale & gabriel: *standing underneath the mistletoe*
crowley: ...
aziraphale, frustrated: oh, crowley! you're too early. you've ruined the surprise!
crowley, looks between them, horrified: whAT?
aziraphale, confused: I'd thought you'd like it
crowley, stuttering: are you mad? this *gesturing frantically between them* is my worst nightmare! I don't want to see that!
aziraphale, rolls his eyes: no, not him *shoos gabriel away; grabs crowley and pulls him under the mistletoe* that's better
crowley, melts: oh...yeah
gabriel, smiling: I like this tradition

just saw a post by @plumbum-art and honestly this idea is so sweet.
Crowley screams at and abuses his plants because it allows him to relive his own trauma. his fall. He discards plants that are less than perfect, just like how God cast him out once he asked a few questions.
Once they move into together, Aziraphale picks up on this. He knows Crowley has never been too receptive to his compliments and words of adoration, so he starts to pour them into the plants. Praising their beauty and growth. Treating them with so much love, talking to them and uplifting them with words he wishes he could say directly to Crowley. He forgives imperfections in the leaves and encourages them, saying that they are more than the few spots marring them.
Crowley is almost always in hearing range of Aziraphale and the plants, and hearing the praise for the imperfect plants slowly heals him. He pretends to hate it, it only entices Aziraphale to be even more doting to the plants. It helps even more.
The plants grow taller. The leaf spots still appear from time to time, but heal over within days as Aziraphale encourages them. Crowley changes too. Less scared if being abandoned, more secure and safe knowing Aziraphale is so close and won't leave him behind again.
