i saw someone say that they thought bloody crow was queen annalise’s son. but i have seen you draw them as lovers…which do you like better?

Hey there!

You know, very early on I found a cinematic YouTube series about Crow where he started out as just a normal Yharnam hunter, but he stumbled upon Cainhurst and defeated Logarius, which led straight to Annalise afterwards.

Then it was implied that Annalise told him the truth, which was that he was her long-lost son and they were the last of the Vilebloods, who had all been slaughtered by the Church. Up until that point, Crow had been on decent terms with the Church (shown through his friendship with Alfred), and thought they were the Good Guys.

But of course, when Crow found out the truth, he gave his life to Annalise and turned on the Church in her name. It was such a badass interpretation that I almost ran with it, but I stopped for a few reasons.

For one, I didn’t want to outright steal the interpretation because it really stood on its own.

Secondly, I decided that I liked the drama of Eileen and Crow’s potential mother-son/mentor-mentee relationship more.

That left me with just a few ideas for who Annalise was to Crow. Relative, friend, or lover.

I liked the idea of a fucked up power-couple that were hellbent on avenging the Vilebloods and finding a way for Annalise to birth a divine heir that would save them from extinction and let them ascend to godhood. It worked out pretty welll.

Now don’t get me wrong, Crow’s weird-ass issues get projected onto Annalise and their relationship is probably pretty creepy and toxic, but I like it. They enable and encourage the absolute worst traits in each other for the sake of strength and ruthlessness. They become more than just a couple in my mind, but some kind of meld of fractured egos.

So yeah, I like this interp a little more.

Soooo big upgrade I decided that because their efforts in making a ship people started donating and they ended up with a

* not very efficient but very fast ship

* very heavy landings

* engines that aren't rated for something so small in comparison

* essentially an unstable but working ship that violates many of this intergalactic version of osahs regulations.

* but if they crash it will be a beautiful explosion

Asks and writing prompts

I am once again asking for your financial general support.

I am filled with ick and riddled with writer's block and want some ideas for things to write about. So I'm gonna take y'alls cool asks as suggestions.

It can be a wee writing prompt, a list of silly headcanons, a little opinionated essay perhaps, a fanfic request of some sort? (That might take a hot minute to crank out though)

I think it'd be a fun way to get me back into the loop of writing again.

I know I should make a list of things I'll be down to write about so:

I'm most, at least in writing, familiar with Arkhamverse Crane (Since he happens to be my favorite little munchkin)

If it's general, of course, I'll likely write within the confines of the Crowverse or Crowleyverse from over on @crowley-in-arkham might be fun. (Those I'll always tag with Crowley-in-Arkham so you can find them-- get me to work on CIA right haHA; good lord.)

I'll write about other characters in the Arkhamverse happily.

I'm also partial to the Mystic Messenger and Obey Me so if you're partial to those I'm not opposed to writing about my lads and lasses over there.

Twicord my beloved <3 Using my redesigns this time!

Fun fact! This was basically my first real ship, basically ever! I was never too into shipping growing up and I was very confused about just how much discourse surrounded it and how absolutely feral some people got over their ships.

But Mlp was what would open me up to stuff like multishipping and crack shipping and how to enjoy a good rare pair- so at one point I just decided I was going to ship something I didn’t see anyone else really shipping. Thus! Twicord!!

At a certain point it stopped being a “joke” and this pairing has since owned my heart for the last decade <3
