name: Brittney age & pronouns: She/her whats your favorite scary movie? Pan's Labyrinth, The Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting, The Company of Wolves, Don't Breathe, Hannibal and Clarice's relationship from Silence of the Lambs, Hush, and some others that I can't recall at the moment. what horror movie trope are you? Creepy music forewarning bad things happening or nature getting its revenge. favorite types of plots:My character being drawn to a mysterious and alluring man, pack/family bonds, frenemies who either turn full enemies or friends, psychic links, my character being drawn to an object and then not being able to part with that object no matter how much she tries, and cat and mouse/psychological games between my character and her enemy. what are you most excited to see on the site? Primarily the type of plots, creatures, and events that will be on the site. what do you want to see on the site? Inclusivity, originality, plotting on the site, badges or something else that we/our characters can earn. I don't particularly like the idea of earning and spending points on having a plotter pinned or buying a development section for each member. I much have pretty badges that actually mean something on a character's profile.

meet mars. my sweet child came up in the fae realm, jumping back and forth between her home realm and earth up until it imploded. as for her age, mars stopped counting after she aged past 100, but she knows she’s a few years over 170, give or take some years. 26 has been her physical age consistently, though, so that’s what she tells people. her greatest joy was to explore both realms and learn all that she could about the people and places around, but that came to an end after the fae realm was destroyed. from there on, it was survival and trying to adjust to the major loss she and her fellow fairies faced. despite everything she’s been through, mars has always been the sweetest she could ever be, believing that kindness was the best thing in a universe of pain and loss. don’t get it wrong, though. she might be kind, but crossing her can be a deadly mistake. forgiveness isn’t for the wicked, in her mind.

she was once kidnapped by a group of vampires after being trick by a vampire lover, and was tortured and abused by said group, her blood sustaining them. she’d been with them a few weeks before they suddenly scattered, and hours later, she was rescued by the catf. ever since that tragic period in her life, she has been trying to track down each and every vampire involved in her entrapment and bring them some karma.

she owns a horse ranch property because she has an affinity for those sweet creatures.

as mentioned above, she traveled a lot between realms, and even after being permanently trapped on earth, she still traveled to both find other fairies and avoid persecution after the supernatural community was revealed. it was vegas becoming a safe haven that made her settle there completely.

mars doesn’t have a steady job - instead, she makes money off of real estate and through various other means. she just hasn’t found a workplace that makes her want to stay.

she loves collecting. she has a few secret locations full of items that are both human and supernatural in nature, organized neatly by both item type and when the item came to be.

she’s incredibly benevolent most of the time, using her magic to help those around her. but, again, cross her and it’s bad news.

WANTED / INTEREST CHECKS

vampire ex lover?? though martina thinks he willingly turned her in, this isn’t the truth. i imagine he got involved with a group of bad vamps and them learning that his girlfriend was a fairy was what set it all off. he never meant for her to get hurt, but was vastly outnumbered. at the risk of his own life and limb, he reported the group to the catf in hopes that mars would be liberated, but knew her well enough to know to stay the fuck away if she lived, lest he wanted to incur martina’s wrath. mars currently has hunters as well as her own magic aiding her in finding those involved for retribution, but she can’t bring herself to find him. she’s mostly just heartbroken regarding him rather than bloodthirsty. so mb he comes back around and we make some drama of that?

fairy crew?? those forced onto earth to contend after their home realm destruction and finding solace and safety in each other??

any friends really! bitch is kind and gregarious despite the things she’s been through. that’s probably never gonna change about her. she’ll befriend pm anyone if she feels their intentions are pure. but she’s a lot more cautious when it comes to certain species.

best not to make a real enemy of her. if it’s mild enough, she’ll just ignore the shit out of someone. if it’s something to endanger her and the others around her she cares about?? she’s relentless.

tw: drunk while driving, alcoholism, drug use, religion

basically, noah was raised in a religious home by a well-known artist and a private investigator. he was the favorite out of his siblings, up until he started acting up in his teens while they decided to stay in their lane. he got a dwi when he was sixteen (which almost killed a family of three) and didn’t learn from it and somewhat did whatever the hell he wanted - pickpocketing, selling drugs, the whole nine yards - for a long ass time. then one day, in a car crash that wasn’t caused by him, but was caused by another drunk driver, his mother passed so he decided to clean up his act. 

he still has difficulties with drinking though. he doesn’t drink as heavily, but he does drink from time to time. and even though he’s kind of a depressed bastard, he puts on a happy face and is considered one of the ‘cool’ preachers the city has to offer? like he’s not really judgmental and is good at playing therapist. he will have a drink with one of the church goers if they’re at a bar he’s atm too.

but he honestly has no idea what his purpose is, and whether or not he’s on the right path after all? like part of him thinks he could be doing something more, part of him wants to have more fun. it’s confusing. 

 connections: 

(maybe has one ride or die wife), who he should be divorced from, but like, he just couldn’t let her go even though she drives him bananas. he tries to keep on the straight and narrow with all the vampires, werewolves, and more, he just finds himself losing his footing a lot. i don’t think she’s helpful in that aspect of things.

(best friend who’s a supernatural creature) i’ve been watching preacher and someone who’s basically his ride or die would be so much fun!

(people he tries to help) he tries to help people but that fails sometimes and it’s a bit hard on him but like? he does his best

(friends) just cause he’s a preacher doesn’t mean he’s lost his sense of fun. he is a cool dude. so i can see him having some friends from all walks of life (and death) 

(siblings) he was raised in deer park, texas originally, but moved to las vegas because some of his siblings live there. so like, if anyone wants a sibling connection with a family with a good amount of money and a healthy upbringing, his family is a good place to start.
