Crushgasm Part 1

Ok so my last post on this matter was all about me and my crush and how we both were to attend a ball together. It was through work so there was going to be a few people I knew from there however We were both going alone and I took everyone on tumblr’s advice and did the Cinderella treatment to myself . You know the whole finding the perfect dress making sure I looked my best. After all he had never seen me outside of work so this was an opportunity that simply could not be missed!

A girl from work and I arranged to go together, When we arrived we realised we were the first people from our work to arrive, so we began talking about people from work and after a few drinks she asked me what I thought about crush, obviously I wasn't very good at hiding my emotions because as soon as she said his name my face lit up and she immediately asked if I liked him. I begged her not to say anything and she swore she wouldn't. An hour had passed and still no one else arrived we were told to be seated in the ball room where the awards were to be held. Finding our table me and my co-worker sat down and still another hour went past , the evening meals were being served and we were getting pretty drunk and it seemed we had come to conclusion we were going to be the only two at the whole event from our work!:

However a little later on as we were about to start our main course, crush strolls in along with a few others from work. As cliche as it sounds I couldn't help but be caught off guar at how good he looked. I noticed an odd expression on his face when he looked at me and I couldn't help but wonder what was running through his head when he saw me.. Coming over to the table he chooses to sit next to me, which on the inside I couldn't help but feel a little pleased and thinking that me dressing up may have paid off after all. I honestly felt fabulous:

With the event came free drinks, and of course I had been there a couple of hours and thought with crush sat next to me the best thing for me to do was try to sober up or at least let him catch up, after a few glasses of wine and a couple of beers we soon started talking to each other about everything and anything, both flirting like crazy, he was making me laugh, as we joked about the whole event and we joked about what other people must be thinking around the table with me and him pretty much whispering into each others ears and having inside jokes. The whole night we teased each other and danced around the subject of admitting to each other that there was chemistry between us, he told me how much he liked me however he was scared of me not liking him and claiming sexual harassment in the work place. A part of me laughed at this thinking he was kidding, it was only when I saw the look on his face that I realised he was serious!.... crush liked me! on the inside all I could think was:

As you can imagine my head was reeling I finally felt that I knew I wasn’t crazy that in fact he also liked me just as much as I like him. Noticing he w was getting a little worse for wear, I decided to probe him some more, he asked to make a pact that we get married in 5 years. Now I laughed and agreed as you would at the joke however it hit me like a train. This guy is so drunk.... and my heart sank. Of course he said he likes you he's drunk! and the fact that when he tried to stand up and nearly fell over confirmed this, I just wanted to cry:

Me now pretty much sobered up and a now very drunk crush were left a lone on the table with the girl I arrived that evening with. We decided to go into town even though I was pretty certain crush was in no state to be allowed in anywhere! Walking into town crush held my hand to keep him self steady and I couldn't help but smile...it just felt nice. Ok so I was pretty much taking care of him at the point and making sure the man didn't end up passed out in the gutter somewhere however for a dunk guy he was really sweet.:

However there came a moment in the night where he just looked at me. Never in my life had anyone looked at me that way, he then leaned in and kissed me on the cheek.. it was a simple kiss nothing that I’m sure to anyone passing by would care about, however there was something about that kiss I really felt I couldn’t ignore. I needed to be honest with myself crush was more than a crush.. I had strong feelings for him:

After him really hitting his limit I thought the best thing for me to do was to take him home. After dropping him off and me and other girl headed home, I decided that the best thing for me to do was to try and eject all feelings I had for him. Clearly from what I understood he was too concerned about the fact that we worked together so I figured that he would in fact never mention what happened or even remember what he said.. I thought that would be the end …but it wasn’t
