Dragon Dressing Discord

Do you use Tumblr polls to help you make geneing decisions? Do you need help figuring out the exact layering for an outfit? The DTD! is a server where you can post your dragons who need some style advice and get answers by community members. We're here to uplift everyone trying to get their dragons to look as pretty as humanly imaginable.

We also share outfit codes and help you dress a dragon from nothing or help you come up with gene options for that new perfect G1 you just hatched amid the hundreds of options available on FR.

It's also just a great place to get ideas for your own outfits seeing what other people have posted!

Hey Tumblr, can you help me figure out how to gene this thing?

I'm in Light, and on my last day of Brightshine I went scavenging and found an egg. I hatched it, and I got this lil guy:

Now, her primary and secondary colours (dirt and lemon) aren't bad by any means, and she has rare eyes that actually match those colours quite well. She has a very "light" look to her imo. However, her tirt is Iris, which makes her incredibly complicated to work with. I've been spending so long in the scrying workshop that it's become the crying workshop, and I've only come up with three scries. Soooooo I wanted to know what you guys think?

Each of them feels very distinct and different, and I don't quite know what direction to go. Fade/Noxtide/Capsule sortof goes well together, but it only really works on her if she's a Guardian, since the Iris takes a more blue tone here compares to every other gene where it's just purple. Skink/Fissure/Opal isn't as matchy, but it does manage to use the tertiary as a feature as opposed to an accent. Finally, I wanted to play around with Harlequin and Flair since they're surprisingly matchy, but the only way I can work in the tert is to stain it, which I'm not always the biggest fan of doing because it tends to desaturate the otherwise vibrant colours, and it's also a gem gene.

Do either of these scries look ~*okay*~? I've been having so much trouble with this guy since his primary and secondary are a cool toned pink and a warm toned pink everything is weird and clashy
