I made a pearl for Lone wolf Jasper.

She's a gift from blue diamond to thank lone wolf for his loyalty and service into her army.

When the war on earth started, Night blue was ordered by Lone wolf to stay in Homeworld, and Blue promised to keep an eye on her until his return. When the war was finaly over, she found out that her owner couldn't make it in time to avoid the diamonds' blast on earth.

Thinking he was deceased, the poor pearl asked to Blue Diamond for a room for herself somewhere in Pink Diamond's zoo. Once it was done, Night blue isolated herself from the rest of the universe and remained in her vast and quiet room for the following 5000+ years, mourning the one she so well served.

Happy New Year!!!!!! Time to reveal another Fandom I Like!! Ironically I’ve never played TF2, but boy do I just love those Mercs! And I love doing crossovers sooooooo have one I’ve had stewing since April 2021!

The Sniper was one of a large group of gems commissioned for Yellow Diamond, but his Skinny status was mocked by his fellow Mookaites. However, when deployed on Earth, he was one of the only survivors, his beefy fellow gems were Poofed and bubbled almost immediately. Sniper sensibly surrendered, and was then recruited by Bismuth. Eventually sent on a space mission, he and two compatriots were spared the Final Attack of the Diamonds, and all decided to go back to the Gempire undercover, in an attempt to destabilize the corrupt government. Sniper, acting as a bodyguard to a low-ranking Sapphire, heard of the capture of a Lapis Lazuli, and realized that there were still living Gems on Earth. Gathering his old crew and some new friends, and with the help of said Sapphire’s Pearl, they set off to Earth once more - to stop the Jasper, save the Lapis, and be free Gems again.

never really paid much attention to momswap aus before (where jasper/lapis/peridot replace garnet/pearl/amethyst, although i have seen bismuth instead of jasper gaining popularity after future) but lately (as in like, today) i've started thinking about one. while the roles wouldn't be 1-1 i think generally they would be: jasper sort of taking pearl's role, as the one closest to rose who knew the most about her, lapis as... lapis, and peridot as the "amethyst" of the group, being the youngest one who wasn't around for the war. also thought about someone else being steven's mom, but i think it works best if it's still rose.

Break

So I've already drawn Frisk and Chara from Undermourning. That is why I decided to take a break in form of...

...drawning something I wanted to draw for a longer time. I actually did draw this, but on paper. However, my drawning on paper wasn't very good, so I redrew it in Ibis Paint X. Now I'm much more proud of this drawning. It isn't perfect in any means, but still looks much better. I'm especially proud from hands!!!

It isn't Undertale themed, but I wanted to show it anyway. It's more in cartoony style. I would have problem with drawning Malachite in more realistic style. However I tried to keep good proportions. At least tried.

I once said I identify with Lapis, right?... Well probably nobody read nor remember that. But it doesn't matter. I just wanted to say that this is kind of venting art. However, I also just think that Malachite should have won. And I'm sure she would, if Lapis was even more simliar to me.

Anyway, I'm going to continue drawning characters for my AU in another weekend.

Why are Lapis and Peridot so desperate to escape when they're safe on the moon base?

I think that's a great question.

People often presume that Lapis' primary motivation is merely 'get away from the Crystal Gems' and 'be safe'. They take her going to the moon as a 'win' in her arc. Like it was a logical and final solution, and therefore - yeah, why not go to the moon and just be done with it?

Easy, right?

But Lapis never wanted to be alone on the moon. Lapis' primary, original motivation is and always has been 'I Want To Go Home.'

Even in canon, her going to the moon wasn't a happy ending. She was using it as a last resort. She isolated herself there and was miserable because Lapis isn't actually antisocial. She wants to have friends.

The problem is, she's traumatized and scared and that doesn't make her a good team-player. She's scared of being trapped, and she's scared of being mistaken for an enemy. Don't forget that she was originally trapped in the mirror because she "was picked up by a Homeworld Soldier and confused for a Crystal Gem... and used as a tool."

She doesn't want to stay indefinitely on the moon.

In the AU, she took Peridot there because she does feel it's safe for the moment and she feels in control. But ultimately, she wants something Definitive that would prove to Homeworld that that she is, without a doubt, NOT a traitor, and should not be treated as one.

The first time she tried to leave Earth, she got caught by Jasper and Peridot, and she realized that just going back wasn't going to cut it.

So she switched tactics. She decided to use Peridot as a shield, to prove that she was doing what was 'right' - working WITH Homeworld.

And Peridot? Doesn't want to be on the moon either.

Peridot wants to complete her mission and be a good gem. In a way, she's also using Lapis as a shield - but more physically, because Lapis is clearly the stronger fighter of the two of them.

Both of them want to go home. Both of them are simply trying to do what they think is necessary to prove themselves 'good soldiers' so that what happened to Lapis doesn't happen to them again.

That's why they're so desperate to get Stevonnie and Earl off their backs. Their plan was to make a call to Yellow and pacify her needs, and essencially use the Cluster's flawless emergence as currency to beg for her protection and safe transport.

But now that Yellow has been...

hung up on in the middle of conversation

not called back in time to watch the Cluster emerge

third thing - take your pick (Lapis and Peridot merged, Stevonnie is in the moonbase, etc)

...Peridot realized that there is no salvaging this situation. There's no more time to fix it, rather. She has not technically failed her mission, but in trying to protect it, she has dug herself an ever-deeper hole. And there's no missing the fact that Stevonnie's words DID resonate with her.

It's not a clean cut 'just stay on the moonbase, it's not like the Cluster will get you here :)'

Things are already permanently fucked. Peridot and Lapis are both doomed, and in a sense, their desperate scramble for survival they have ultimately doomed each other.

I’d be happy to info dump though!

So my AU -which I call the separation AU- surrounds the idea of pink and human Steven being two different people and Rose’s two children, and came into the world separately. Pink Steven, who is mistaken for Pink Diamond after she gave up her form for him, later takes the name Star, is fully grown at birth and resembles a diamond rather than a Quartz- while Steven is just an infant.

The problem is, Rose had been pregnant and discovered by the diamonds before Steven was born, she was too weak from shapeshifting entire reproductive organs and creating an entirely new life for nine months to fight back, and probably wouldn’t have regardless due to the chance of her child being injured.

So on Homeworld, to protect her child she revealed her old identity (you can find another post answering an ask about this).

Because of many factors, Steven and his gem half were born split apart.

Star had limited knowledge while also way too much, he knew he wasn’t supposed to exist and was also supposed to be apart of Steven, and whether he could fuse with Steven or not, it was simply impossible because of the situation.

So to protect and take care of Steven, he took his mother’s place as a diamond, conforming to White’s expectations.

While he could technically bring Steven to Earth as Rose would have wanted him to, the diamonds would have chased him there and that would have risked the planet. He also couldn’t leave Steven in the zoo or drop him off on Earth because while Steven is viable without a gem, he’s basically a plant relying on Star for energy like a sun, if he’s far from Star’s presence for too long, he’ll wither and die. So abandoning Steven was out of the question.

Fifteen years later, Connie finds herself as a Crystal Gem. The three gems on earth had continued to try and protect the earth for Rose, and Greg had fallen into a depressive state.

The last Crystal Gems never went into detail about Rose. They never told her exactly what happened to the leader of the Crystal Gems and Greg no longer interacted with them.

Connie took Steven’s place in a way, she was the one who befriended and freed Lapis Lazuli, for example. But anyways when Peridot and Jasper came to stop the Crystal Gems from interfering with Peridot’s work, the remaining Crystal Gems had been captured along with Connie. (I’m workshopping the storyline so I’m not sure abt this yet)

While the gems were poofed and bubbled away, Star decided he wouldn’t put Connie in the zoo or return her to Earth.

Steven, being isolated from other human beings and viewed as a pet to a majority of Homeworld, had left him lonely, and Star realized this. So he took Connie in (is what he calls it).

Everything else after that is what I like to play around with. I imagine eventually Connie would convince Steven to help her escape and rescue her friends, but when the three gems see Steven, they also see Rose in him, and are determined to “rescue” him.

Anyways I’m tired of writing, I realize this information comes with a few unanswered questions, so if you have any feel free to ask!

Silly lil swap au!!! Steven’s mom is white diamond and the og 3 homeworld gems are the crystal gems!! Greg’s still his dad and most of early season one would be pretty much the same but with a more dysfunctional found family cuz they’re silly like that. The og crystal gems are now villains to be redeemed but in like. Slightly different ways idk man- With the diamonds it’s Pink in White’s place and then blue plays a bit more of an aggressive role than yellow does

-Jasper is the first time he sees a gem poof. It’s similar to the pearl episode but it’s a robot Peridot made instead of a pearl hologram- She gets frustrated with Steven not taking his battle training seriously and gets punched straight in the face because of it. She doesn’t stay in her gem nearly as long as pearl does and Peridot actually helps him when this weird lil robot keeps trying to fight him- The only reason Jasper doesn’t come back in a few hours is cuz she’s embarrassed she got poofed me thinks

-Sapphire comes to earth to use her future vision to see the status of the cluster and properly check on it- She has her group of 3 rubys with her and they manage to poof Jasper in the same manner of Garnet getting poofed by Jasper in canon. Ship chaos happens and Jasper manages to poof 2 of 3 rubies while the last one escapes in the escape pod with Sapphire. Steven bubbles the rubies cuz he’s silly like that and wants to make sure they’re going to be ok

-cue a couple fights later and Jasper gets frustrated that she’s lost a few battles to a lone ruby and a sapphire of all gems and starts pushing the other gems away and preventing them from fighting with her- She goes to attack Sapphire while Ruby’s catching her breath since she’s seemingly defenseless but Ruby jumps in and they fuse and sit there having a panic attack. Jasper stands there in shock for a moment cuz she’s not entirely used to fusion either before going to attack again-Only for Steven to jump in the way and save them

-Ruby’s getting stressed over the cluster and pacing in the barn so Lapis recommends Steven goes to show them what it’s like on earth-Cue Sapphire and Ruby slowly realizing they love each other. Also the frog. Steven shows them what a frog is and Ruby excitedly shows it to Sapphire. Gay people-They don’t fuse as often but like. By future they’re permanently fused?? But for the majority of the main series they only fuse when needed

-Amethyst comes to earth to collect Sapphire!! She has her limb enhancers to make up for her height n stuff- Idk how the baseball episode parallels will work but. They’re there. Somehow!! Garnet also gets to fuse to hide Sapphire since Amethyst wouldn’t expect a fusion idk anymore

-garnet somehow manages to poof Amethyst in her panic and Steven unbubbles her because he’s curious about her limb enhancers and peridot won’t tell her because she’s scared of him knowing too much about homeworld. She traps herself in the bathroom peridot style until Steven manages to make her realize she’s safe here and the cluster is bubbled and she’s allowed to be herself and doesn’t have to be afraid of being shattered for being defective if she messes up even slightly. She gets her peridot arc or smthn

-Greg gets taken to the human zoo like in canon but Pearls there with Holly Blue Agate to watch over the humans and their growth. She was sent there after white was shattered as punishment for failing her diamond and it’s seriously messed her up- She does see them being free tho and helps them escape with Greg without thinking- Steven offers for her to tag along and she hesitates until Holly Agate comes along and she immediately jumps in the ship

-Pearl watches Steven sleep like in canon but it’s. Creepier. It’s habit from the human zoo but she starts to investigate his gem in the process and realizes it’s her diamond aka white. She goes to remove the gem to free her diamond back-Maybe get her status back by having white back-Desperation type beat- only to wake Steven who panics and pushes her away- She panics massively and starts sobbing and calling him her diamond

-Instead of the loud distraction yell of “She’s Gone” from pink Steven- Steven accidentally mind controls pink for a split second and it makes them both tumble back- I don’t know fully how this scene would work tbh I gotta brainstorm more but. Ik white diamond Steven has a different set of powers than canon Steven- He’s got whites mind control powers n shit

-Bismuth takes the role of Spinel in the movie!! Not in the same abandoned sense but in a “you ruined our perfect plan” and wants to kill him for it whether her diamond wants her to or not- she’s silly like that!! She resets the gems like Spinel does and Jasper signs her life to Greg like pearl does- She carries him around n is super protective of him. Ma’am’s ready to kill someone on sight for Greg-

-Post-Corrupted Steven gets silly lil corrupted traits still. 1) his gem is flipped so it’s like a horn now 2) he’s got silly lil underbite fangs 3) spikes on his shoulders so his jacket is tied around his waist so it doesn’t get ripped 4) he’s like. Extra extra tired all the time someone save him

Tell a friend to tell a friend- She’s BAAACK!!

This is an Owl House/Steven Universe AU, specifically an ‘SU in TOH’ variant!

Casual Kiddos + Season 1 Adults

So in Season 1, a human named Steven wanders into the dimension of Homeworld. He is quickly accepted into the fold of The Crystal House, a home for three outlaws Witches who came together- Garnet, the daughter of a Wild Witch (Ruby) and an upstanding Demon (Sapphire), Pearl, a former Guard for the Covens before defecting, and Amethyst, a cursed Witch.

Steven and Amethyst start in the Detention Track…

But quickly chose to Multi-Track. Amethyst studies Beastkeeping, Construction, Illusions and Abominations. Meanwhile, Steven starts out studying Healing and Plants, but expands to Beastkeeping, Oracle, and Illusions to learn the type of magic that the other Gems learned (Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl in that order)

Season 2 happens then (featuring the new uniforms) and the Crystal Gems have to deal with the three Main Heads- Blue, the Healing Head, Yellow, the Abominations Head, and White, the Empress’s Head. What they learn as the season continues is that, actually, they (and Pink, who was the Plant Coven Head before she ‘died’) are witch hunters. Pink was a born a Witch in the Human Realm, and so her sisters gave up their witch hunting ways to find someplace Pink could be safe… or so they thought. Really, White never gave up being a Hunter, and was just looking for a way to get rid of every witch at once.

What Steven learns at the end of Season 2 is that, first off, he’s a Grimwalker. White made him as a copy of Pink and wanted to use him to test various murder methods on witches, but Pink found out and fled, faking her death. She cut her and Steven’s ears to keep them safe in the Human Realm, but she botched the job a bit. Pink took on the name Rose, fell in love with and married a human named Greg Universe, and died in childbirth with her daughter Nora (who also passed).

Steven does… not take this well.

And spends like half of Season 3 downright miserable.

But yeah that’s the main summary of the AU! Some additional Notes:

Yellow is the Abominations Head because she created the Cluster.

Peridot takes over as Plant Head after Pink (because Peri’s a farmer). The Other Coven Heads are Nephrite for Beastkeeping (because she was a beast), Lapis for Oracle (because she was trapped in a mirror and I can warp that into a crystal ball), Jasper for Construction (all quartz are Construction, it’s why Amethyst has it), Fable for Illusions (Because obviously), Aquamarine for Potions (idk, she has a wand?? So I guess Potions is the witchiest Coven??) and Pyrope for Bard (I have no clue why)

Bismuth is Raine, because obviously.

Pearl has an Illusions sigil, so that obviously causes problems.
