Who I write for /Rules

Masterlist

I'm new-ish to writing (i used to write fanfiction when i was like 13. i'm 18 now soo..) but I really wanna do it again.

So this is a list of characters/fandoms I write for as well as some rules for asks. Some things may be missing from this list so if you dont see something on this list, feel free to ask. :))

I will add a prompt list to this blog soon but again feel free to request other scenarious. Do add as much detail as you want to a request and please ALWAYS have at least some sort of prompt, as i'm really not good with coming up with storys on my own yet.

I WILL NOT DO SMUT SO DONT REQUEST IT! I might however do spicy stuff (Nothing more than making out tho).

My writing will be for all ages but please still be careful if the fic-warnings include sensitive topics and i might repost some 18+ things so be careful when navigating my blog.

Please be nice and have manners when requesting.

If you have any questions at all if i write for something, or if a topic you want me to write about is okay or not, please reach out through my asks or my inbox.

Also please include what gender/pronouns you want the reader to have (i write for all genders):)))

I write both romantic and platonic for all my characters. Although Teen!readers will always be platonic if the character is an adult.

I also write poly relationships. AUs are also totally on the table (big Fan of celebrity AUs).

Some things I will not write include: Pregnancy, toxic/yandere, student x teacher.

Absolutely! I’ve got just the thing @dadrunkwriting !

Her braid was coming loose. Tendrils of hair escaped their bonds like water pouring through a sieve. She never could quite figure out how to dress her hair fashionably- it was too slippery and smooth, unable to hold a pin or a clip without it eventually falling out. Lydia teased her about it often enough: I never fear losing you in a crowd, Evie dear. I only need to follow the trail of hairpins to track you down!

Evelyn sighed and pulled the hair ribbon out of her failed coiffure. It was a lovely ribbon, red as ripe cherries, and one of her favorites. It was one of Sera’s little presents, one she slipped into Evelyn’s desk drawer when she wasn’t looking. If only she could figure out how to keep it in her hair! She would hate to lose it.

“Wait,” Cullen said. Evelyn nearly jumped at the sound. She had been so absorbed in her own musings that she had forgotten where she was. Cullen’s office had become something of a refuge. He took his work seriously, just like her, which made it so much easier to focus when she wrote letters or looked over reports. Frankly speaking, it was easier to discuss business pertaining to their military forces in person. Besides, she worked better when there was some small amount of noise. It reminded her of Ostwick’s study halls and library: the scratch of a pen on parchment, the rustle of papers, the crackle of a fire- it was comforting, and comfort was in short supply these days.

It helped that Cullen was… nicer than she first thought. It made her flush red with embarrassment whenever she lingered too long on those sort of thoughts. That he was attractive was never something she questioned. It made her warier of him initially. Saintly Templars who looked the part could get away with much more than their less beauteous compatriots. But Cullen had proved himself to be… worthy of some measure of trust. He saved her cat. He was concerned over her welfare in such a way that Evelyn believed- wanted to believe- that he cared about her beyond her usefulness. And he… he understood things. There were parts of Circle life that only a fellow Mage or a Templar knew: the near-compulsive tidiness that such a rigid life demanded, the way you had to peek around corners out of fear you would cross the wrong sort of person, the bone-deep fear of isolation-

That was probably why he didn’t dismiss her when she began taking her paperwork to his office. Maybe he was as lonely as she was. And there was a kindness she hadn’t thought she would find in him. He had a chair and table brought in so she could work by the fire, and the tea kettle always had water inside by the time she arrived. It wasn’t flowers or poetry, but the gestures won her over anyways. And that was a secret she would take to her grave- her messy, miserable yearning for Cullen Rutherford would be buried alongside her bones when all was done.

“… yes?” Evelyn asked, all too aware of Cullen‘s eyes on her. What was that expression on his face? Too neutral to be pitying, too warm to be annoyed- she couldn’t quite figure it out. He seemed… amused, somehow, as if her fumbling about was something charming instead of silly. Thank the Maker he was a sensible sort. One of them had to be.

“Let me fix it for you,” Cullen offered, and at her hesitation he hastily amended his statement. “That is, I have some passing skill at braiding. And you have ink on your hands.”

The stain was long dried, but Evelyn wouldn’t point that out. Instead she offered up the red hair ribbon and the wood comb she carried in her pocket next to her botany journal.

“You can’t possibly muck it up worse than I do on a daily basis,” she sighed. Cullen took them and gestured to a wooden stool.

“Sit down. This may take a while,” he said, all business as he combed through her hair. It was… nice. Pleasant. He didn’t rush like her Ostwick peers, and he didn’t tug at her hair like Lydia did. Instead Cullen carefully pulled apart tangled strands and brushed them aside, combing each section patiently. Gently.

No one had ever taken their time with her hair like this. Not even herself.

“You can keep it simple,” Evelyn said, feeling terribly self-conscious as the time passed them by. “My hair isn’t very good at holding a braid. Or anything, truth be told.”

“This will hold,” Cullen replied, as if it were an oath. If it was an oath it was an odd one- but it was like him to make impossible promises and deliver on them. I will keep your cat safe. We will unravel the mystery behind the Rifts. Your braid will stay braided. His fingers took up strands of her hair at the side of her face and began to weave- first one side, then the other, until they joined at the back. His knuckles brushed against her cheek, a momentary touch, but it lingered on her skin even as he murmured an apology and continued his work.

“You seem to know what you’re doing,” Evelyn remarked, desperate to say something to distract herself from the intimacy of his hands, his presence, his unbearable consideration.

“I braided my little sister’s hair. Had the time and patience the rest of my family lacked, I suppose. Rosalie was a tender-headed mite,” Cullen fondly reminisced. “After that, well… just kept myself in practice. Braided fellow recruits hair when they were in the infirmary, things like that.”

“That was… is… kind of you,” Evelyn said, even as her heart sank- but this was a good sign, yes? They were comrades, and this was simply a way of taking care of a- a friend! What a relief it was, to know she fell under the category of ally instead of prisoner, friend instead of charge. It wasn’t special! It was simply… a kindness.

“Everyone needs to be taken care of at some point,” Cullen replied. “There. That should do it.”

Evelyn reached back to touch her hair, her fingers running over every twist and bump in the braid. Not a hair out of place. She dropped her hands to her sides and stood up.

“Thank you. Perhaps I’ll finally look presentable,” she joked. Easier to joke than to be sincere- it was a page she ripped directly from Varric’s playbook, and she desperately needed Varric’s grace and charm right now. Cullen was looking at her again, as if she was a particularly ornery chess puzzle that he was determined to solve. If she lingered any longer in this place he might just find the proper piece to move, and Evelyn might not be able to survive the humiliation of being found out. To the grave, she would take this to the grave!

“Everyone needs to be taken care of,” Cullen said softly. “Even you, Evelyn.” The fire set his hair ablaze in a golden glow, a crown of light that only seemed to emphasize his soft brown eyes and the concern- concern!- in his face. If she took one step forward she could touch him. If she fell into his arms he would catch her. And then-

Saintly looking Templars are the most dangerous ones. Run.

“I’ll manage. I’m good at that,” Evelyn replied brightly- too brightly. The words were brittle in their brightness. Run. She scooped up her paperwork and tucked her pen and ink bottle into their proper pouch at her waist.

“Thank you for letting me work here. And for fixing my braid,” Evelyn added before racing out of the door. But even in her haste Cullen had to have the last word, and his tone couldn’t be interpreted as anything other than mournful.

“No one can manage forever by themselves,” he said, and that voice haunted Evelyn’s every step as she retreated to her lonely quarters in the keep.

How drunk was I

“How drunk was I?” Nichole murmured into her pillow.

Evie shooked her head as she poured her sister a glass of water. “Do you really want me to answer that question?”

“Maker’s breath Evie! How drunk was I!?!”

Evie looked at her twin sister with a twinge of pity. “Very.” Evie paused a second trying to find a way to broach the subject of last night. “Nikki, do you, remember anything from last night?”

“I remember Bull giving me a weird drink. By the third drink I kind of blacked out.” Nicole narrowed her eyes at Evie. “What. Happened. Last. Night.” Nichole placed emphasis on every word trying to intimidate her sister. It didn’t really work though. As Nichole had a hangover and could barely sit up. Evie sat by Nikki and started to apply healing magic, hoping her sister would accept this as an apology for what she was about to tell her. “After a couple of drink your advisors came to the tavern looking for you. Including your commander.”

“Fuck.” Evie realized not a great start, she hasn’t even told Nikki what happened and her sister was already cursing.

“He came and. You got really excited.”

“Oh, Maker. What did I do?”

“Nothing that bad.” Evie said with a nervous giggle. “You may have said you loved him.” Evie stared at her sister’s blank face. “But it was just once. Maybe twice. You know what how many times you’ve said it doesn’t matter.” Evie sat there as Nikki remained silent. “But hey, no hangovers. Having a mage for a sister has its benefits.”

“Evie, tell me exactly how this happened. I want to see if I can salvage this.”

“He walked in. You saw him. And you ran up and tackled him. I think it was supposed to be a hug. Then you went “I love you so much. Sooo much.” He tried to take you to bed. You screamed “fucking finally.” Bull then started to laugh his ass off. And Cullen wanted to die.”

“Well. Shit. But you said I said I loved you multiple times. I’ve only said it once.” Nichole said her face turning into a deep shade of red.

“I wasn’t finished.” Evie said slowly.

“Damnit”

“He tried to pick you up and drag you out of the bar, but you just started blabbering about how amazing he is. That he’s nice, brave and that his cloak is soft. Then you smashed your face in his shoulder.” Evie paused her story when she heard a loud groan “You bitch. Your enjoying this.” Nikki growled.

“I am.” Evie said with a giant grin that made Nikki want to punch her.” You then bopped his nose. Then said, “I love you.” Cullen turned bright red. About the shade you are right now.”

Evie cleared her throat, preparing herself for the best Cullen impersonation she could. “Shh. Shh. Inquisitor yo,you don-don’t. We can talk about this later. When your sober.” Evie stopped impersonating Cullen and continued. “You of course ignored this suggestion. And started screaming “I love you” on the top of your lungs repeatedly. Then Cullen lifted you over his shoulder and carried you to your room.” Evie paused and looked at her sister. Her sister was crumpled into a ball. Her face was hidden behind her hands, Evie couldn’t even see the freckles the Trevelyan’s were famous for because of how red her face was.

“I’m never leaving this room again.” Nichole declared like it was the easiest thing in the world to do.

“Ok. Inquisitor. I’m sure you can stay in your room forever. I’m sure no ambassadors would drag you out.”

“Point taken.” Nikki grumbled. “I’ll just never see Cullen again. Problem solved.”

Evie just glared at her sister. “Ok I see the problem with that plan too.”

“Evie. I can’t face him again.” Nichole said on the verge of tears.

“But you have too. I suggest you talk to him about your feelings sober.”

Nichole hissed at Evie “That will make things worse”

“Nikki, no offence but I don’t think things can get worse. At least if you talk to him, you guys can’t pretend last night never happened and avoid each other like the plague.” Nichole thought Evie said that way too cheerfully considering the situation.

“I guess your right. Things can’t get worse.”

“That’s the spirit. Get dressed and go talk to Cullen.” Evie said as she ran out of the room.

Headcanon: sometimes when Cullen is out of his quarters late, usually training or checking in with his men, he’ll return to find Evie curled up on his bed in a nest of blankets. He is always very careful not to wake her up as he climbs in next to her, but she always wakes up enough to snuggle closer.

14. “Your hands are so much larger than mine.” (I don’t mind! I guess I didn’t realize people liked it so much?)

“Give me a moment... all most there.”

“Just let me do it!”

“I’m very close.”

“But your hands are so much bigger than mine. I’m certain I can get it.”

“Fine!” Cullen sighed in annoyance, and attempted to stand up.

They were both hindered by the handcuffs around their wrists and tethering them together. With some awkward dancing around one another, they finally managed to switch positions with Evie sprawled on the floor above the grate and Cullen next to her.

She snaked her arm down between the slats, her fingers stretching toward the key ring that had been lost between a small crack. Her fingers were slim enough to wiggle their way down to the ring and eventually hook it. Grasping it firmly she slowly pulled it out with a triumphant grin.

“Ha!” she crowed and dangled in front of Cullen’s face.

“Fine, you win. Now get these blasted things off before we lose the lead.”

“Very well.” She fitted the key in the lock, twisting until the handcuffs snapped off. Before Cullen could take off after their mark, Evie slipped them into her pocket. “For later,” she said with a wink.

Cullen did not say a word, although he did turn a rather fetching shade of red.

and some cheesy pickup line

ben had it all planned out

seemed like he’d been planning it for a while

“okay, so at twelve pm we’re having a picnic, by one we’ll be horseback riding, at two-thirty we’re going to take a hike around the forrest, by four we’ll be done with that and—”

“you really thought this through, huh?”

“well, of course. it’s our first date, i need to impress you”

“well color me impressed...”

you gave him a kiss on the cheek and he got so flustered it was ridiculous

the first date went well!!

ben was a tad bit awkward but you didn’t mind

you tried to start some small talk

“so, what’s it like being a real prince?”

“oh, it’s...it’s something alright. lots of pressure, that’s for sure”

ben asked you all about your life, which wasn’t as glamorous as a soon-to-be king’s, but it did get quite interesting

ben truly did enjoy your company

other people interested in him would throw themselves his way, but you stayed genuine with him

each part of this date went off without a hitch

he even took you back home and your parents made him stay :))))

4. Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

Almost always! I am super appreciative of every comment I get, and usually I’ll go through and reply when I’m posting a new chapter (or if it is a 1 shot, I’ll do it within a day or so) but occasionally I just forget, then I feel guilty.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Now, this is a toss-up. I have written two fics with super tragic, angsty endings. One is Cadash/Blackwall An Abrupt End in which Rija Cadash dies after the final battle with Corypheus. Then the other is probably A Moment - A Lifetime which is Lavellan and Cullen and their happily ever after, except Cullen’s mind is going from the years of Lyrium use.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Hmm, happiest, I do usually try to end with good happy endings, so mostly that is what they are, but as for the best? I would say either Mercy or Little Explosions of Hope

7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

Nope, I never have :(

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I mean, that depends on the definition of hate. I’ve received some comments regarding my ability to write. Some comments about characters that were particularly nasty, that I felt was unjustified. (except when it was about Disaster!Evie, I wrote her intentionally to be loathed)

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Hell yes I do. Or at least, I used to. … The smutty kind? Lol. Graphic, filthy encounters, and sometimes soft and sweet and romantic ones.

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that i know of!

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, I’m a sad basic american who only knows english, and no one has ever asked otherwise.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope, I’m terrible at that sort of thing. I can barely write my own fics, worrying about writing one with someone just stresses me out.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

That is a cruel, cruel question. Maybe a bit of a cop-out, but Blackwall x Anyone.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Probably With Her Lionheart, or Sal’Shiral Din’anshiral. I desperately want to finish them, but I dunno if it’ll ever happen.

15. What are your writing strengths?

First chapters and dialogue.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Descriptions and actions.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I think it adds to the story

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Heh heh heh uhm… Well, wrote but never shared with anyone, was a little General Hospital fic, but as far as stuff that I posted, that still exists out in the internets somewhere, would be Roswell.

19. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I’d say, either Breathe (Aella Adaar/Blackwall series) because it was the first fic that I ever wrote for DA, and rereading that series didn’t make me cringe, lol. Or, Little Explosions of Hope, that one is just so long, and I was really happy with how it turned out. I really enjoyed writing Wren, my angry, disabled, elven sex-worker who Cullen fell absolutely head over heels in love with. Sure there are plenty of flaws in the story, and stuff that I’m not so happy with in retrospect, but overall I really loved the slow build of the relationships and shifts and growing as characters.

im vv anxious

self conscious and insecure

i have panic/anxiety attacks

im introverted and i cant handle too much stimulation

i may be too verbal or not verbal at all, it fluctuates

i need straightforward communication, i need honesty, if youre not clear i may get confused

miscommunication might be common as i dont always know how to say what i mean clearly

really bad rejection sensitivity disorder

im considered hyper empathetic and very sensitive to others around me if my empathy isnt drained (which it normally is)

you dont have to treat me like fine china but honesty and kindess is rlly all id want in a convo/rp

i tend to believe ive done smthn wrong or seem off or annoy others, so if i get annoying or anything, please tell me, id rather have an honest response than a wellmeaning lie, as lying will hurt me more tbh

i have adhd (and possibly autism too, unsure)

i hyperfixate on tons of different things! i really like sonic the hedgehog, the lion king, nbc hannibal, and other medias! i also really like animals of all kinds but i mostly prefer cats.

i like to read comics (that are easy to read, too much detail is not my thing)!

i also like specific cartoons (tom and jerry, sonic boom, sonic x, pokemon, alvin and the chipmunks (80s), etc)! i dont like steven universe, the owl house, she ra, etc. those shows annoy me for some reason.
