archon; "which nation's known 'ideal do you like the most: freedom, contracts, eternity, wisdom, justice, or war?" this isn't fontaine bias at all but !! justice !! but if you know me well enough, you know that i have a degree in criminology (and explains it) but it's just coincidence that justice happens to be fontaine shshs

venti; "which character(s) do you think you'd get actually get along with if you were to meet in person and who do you think you'd actually dislike interacting with?" on the list of people i'd get along with: zhongli, childe, hu tao, beidou, kaveh, nilou, candace, kaeya & venti (together, pls take me drinking /hj), amber, heizou, ayaka, yoimiya, itto and thoma!! on the dislike list, i actually don't think i'd get along too well with bennett? (cries), ningguang (intimidating) and miko (also intimidating, i'd be very much like gorou)

vision; "if you were visionless, how would you compensate for the lack of elemental boost? pure skill and wit or would you invest in some premium fatui-made delusions..." i highkey think i'd pull a diluc with a delusion, go on a 4 year murder spree and become banned in snezhnaya and act like it never happened /j. but i think i'd genuinely be like heizou with wit and intuition? instead of martial arts (although i did karate shshsh) i'd make up for it with archery though <3

freedom; "if you were blessed with a vision, which one would you want to have (and which one do you think you'd actually get?)" i'd want a hydro vision !! but i'm fairly certain i'd end up with an anemo vision oopsie...

delusion; "what are your genshin unpopular opinions?" following metas is boring ): if you wanna focus on builds and teams that make sense and have good compositions, fair enough!! but also you don't have to do that, you can make teams out of whatever the hell you want. don't want to put an artifact set everyone recommends onto someone? don't! want to make someone a main dps who isn't typically one? do it! i'm a mix of both but like it's so annoying when people comment on others' teams. if it works for someone and they enjoy it, why the hell not <3 another one (which is gonna be controversial i apologise) but the community leans heavily towards mlm ships and seem to dislike wlw ships more and more. lyney x scaramouche is currently a ship but i saw people shunning clorinde x navia ???

adventurer's guild; "which genshin group would you align yourself with?" okay so i'm not 100% on the groups but perhaps 4ggravate? (i'm like someone put all four of them in an afab body) and also the losers who like books (alhaitham, xingqiu, lisa)

guizhong; "which characters have your favourite aesthetic and/or design?" alhaitham (aesthetic, if you've seen my bedroom + phone it's literally his colours), lyney (aesthetic + design), kirara (design), kokomi (design + aesthetic) <3

rex lapis; "what's your favourite cultural aspect of each of the released nations?" hmm okay, does windblume count for mondstadt? because i hecking adore windblume so badly - liyue would be the architecture !! inazuma is the shrines and their torii gates, sumeru is their attire and fontaine is food <3 if they all count shshshsh

barbara; "you're a tourist traveling teyvat, which locations in the game would you want to visit in person?" windrise, guyun stone forest, wuwang hill, dragonspine !! the grand narukami shrine + tenshukaku, serpent's head, watatsumi (all of it hehe), pardis dhyai, devantaka mountain, mawtiyima forest, opera epiclese and elynas !!

sakura blooms; "what is/are your favourite world quest(s) you've done?" the heckin melusines !!! and also neko at the asase shrine <3

lantern rite; "what is your favourite cutscene in the game so far?" i have too many favourites aaaa !! possibly the parade of providence event cutscene though <3

ganyu; "which character's rerun are you waiting for desperately?" albedo. hoyo. hand him over. (:

dainsleif; "what theory do you have about the lore and the archon's involvement with the destruction of khaenri'ah?" my current fave theory is celestia clearly destroyed khaenri'ah because khaenri'ah didn't believe in them? and i believe that khaenri'ah was possibly a very technologically advanced country - maybe so advanced that it scared celestia into using the archons to do their bidding. obviously we may not know because of his contract but i like to theorise that zhongli doesn't like khaenri'ah's blood on his hands but he made a contract with celestia to not tell the truth as to what happened.

the thing i hate the most about the people defending yoimiya is that they say "she's not terrible tbh she's fine" "she's good enough and if you like her you should pull for her"

no yoimiya is GREAT as a dps. i have her c0 and she's genuinely great, despite all of the flaws that she might have.

- she's easy to use, you dont need to aim with charged attacks or worry about your hp constantly, which is so freeing for someone like me who's used to xiao

- she can do both close range and medium range with no issues, i tested it and her AA easily reach dvalin's spike from the ground

- her damage multipliers are GOOD. high refinement rust with shimenawa's reminiscence are a killer combo for her, mine currently does at least 140k pyro damage each skill duration and i only had three weeks to get artifacts so you know it can get better

- what she lacks in aoe she definitely makes up in speed, her attacks are so incredibly fast: you dont need aoe if the enemies are dead in seconds lol

- "oh but she can't activate her burst's explosions" here's a list of every character who can activate it while being off field: fischl, xingqiu, kaeya, beidou, electro mc, zhongli, albedo, amber, venti, klee, ganyu, mona, xiangling, diona, rosaria, sucrose, kazuha, sayu, probably lisa too but im not sure

yoimiya is easy to use and has a great damage output as a dps, she ended all the weekly bosses with ease for me and im taking her everywhere with no problems, and i still havent built a proper overload team for her (im just using my zhongli/albedo/bennett combo for her) so like. what the actual hell are these people talking about

svt as genshin impact players because i have genshin brainrot

i’m so sorry about this i just HAD to get it out </3

seungcheol - diluc/eula main. prefers building physical damage. ruin hunters are his mortal enemy (same), but he loves ruin graders because they’re tanks and he loves fighting tanks.

jeonghan - childe/venti main. prefers bow users so he gets to stay out of range of enemy attacks. WILL leave you behind if you’re getting your ass beat in co-op. probably has kaeya or rosaria in his team because they’re hot, haha wdym i’m not projecting haha

joshua - jean main because he has a schoolboy crush on her. started out as a sworn f2p but weakened and gave in when her summer skin came out. cries tears of joy when he loses 50/50 to her. picked lumine in the beginning and sometimes still uses her for anemo resonance because she’s adorable and he’s totally right.

jun - no main because he switches between characters all the time. has like eleven 5 star characters and they’re all level 1. in co-op he gets left behind during enemy fights, but somehow always manages to reach the spot in time to claim rewards.

hoshi - beidou main with ningguang always in his party. happy (late) pride month. probably yells out loud while playing and no one even looks at him twice. does his daily commissions on the toilet.

wonwoo - zhongli main and lore freak. mostly focuses on spiral abyss and pulls for characters accordingly. could dodge but never does because why dodge when you have zhongli sheild.

woozi - currently mains keqing because she was his first 5 star pull and he’s loyal, but has been saving for ayaka since the beginning of the game’s release. mostly only pulls on the weapons banner.

seokmin - amber main because he feels bad for her. refuses to kill timmie’s birds because he also feels bad for him. is shit at the game but somehow?? manages to get through everything... may or may not have something to do with seungcheol taking pity on him during co-op.

mingyu - wholesome ganyu main. one of the few people who uses klee has a support. has no idea spiral abyss exists because he’s too busy exploring. has never once made a dish that was not perfect.

minghao - albedo main. gatekeeping him as he should!!! KING of dodging. can probably solo azhdaha with amber w/o buffs even if it takes him two hours.

seungkwan - fischl/mona main who probably cried when he pulled them on a banner. WHALE. probably says he hates leakers because they spoil the story for him but has GenshinLeaks notifications on.

vernon - bennett main because he thinks he has good vibes. also has chongyun/razor/xingqiu (aka The Boys™) on his team. sometimes switches up his party to include aether because he considers him an honorary member of The Boys™

chan - traveler main solely because he’s a chad that way. the only 5 star he has is xiao because he looked cool and he’s been saving ever since. already planning to pull for yoimiya because waifu is laifu.

Karasuno

Hinata

As an ESFP he would probably choose his main based on who feels good to use

Quick movements, lots of jumping, strong = XIAO MAIN (probably finds the flashiness and edginess cool and enjoys the button mashing too)

would aggressively compete with kageyama on who can beat spiral abyss the fastest and with the shortest time

unfortunately they’re both not very good (initially because kenma helps him out after)

Would try to follows the plot but dialogue goes over his head

Does not understand stats other than attack at first

Wish impulse is real and never has any primos

would attempt to talk to every npc

Kageyama

META SLAVE

Has no idea what wishing/gacha is at first and builds his starters really well

Then he found out and currently mains Ganyu, Zhongli, Hutao for the big numbers

gloats about his first 5 star to hinata

Does not talk to NPCs at all and barely digs into the story

only there for spiral abyss and to make his characters stronger

Tsukishima

Didn’t wanna play until yamaguchi dragged him in to have someone to co op with

Appreciates the story and lore more than the gameplay aspect

Eula, razor (cv uchiyama kouki) main—easy to build, easy to use

Doesn’t care about wishing either

Got Eula by accident and now holds it over kageyama’s head

Has really good artifact RNG that it infuriates kagehina (gloats about it to fan the flame 😚)

the hottest new company on the rise with a multitude of artists and entertainers , all stemming from different backgrounds and producing new sounds , new materials . . . praised to be a diverse group of gender , age , and countries , teyvat entertainment brings to the actors , models , musicians ( groups , soloists , collaborations ) .

note ; this is based on veechu’s idol au on twt . unfortunately veechu has deactivated their account a while ago but there are definitely a lot of artists still contributing to the au .

here’s a few of the biggest entertainers teyvat entertainment has in their roster :

LUMINE ( luo ying ; 22 )

a child model and actress , lumine began her career in front of a camera with a script ; entering music was a recent decision and she’s been loving the scene . debuting as a soloist , lumine dabbles in a variety of sounds but her most prominent genre is pop and ballad . praised to be nation’s little sister , lumine ( like her name ) shines brightly .

4NEMO ( luo kong / aether ; 22 years | venti | kazuha | xiao )

a smatter of backgrounds but all with the same goal , bring forth a breath of fresh air for their listeners . with TWO veterans on the team ( venti & xiao ) , the group has been garnering a lot of attention from numerous listeners . their sound ranges from pop to edm ; they’ve been wanting to dabble in producing and choreographing their own music . many will recognize the members from other media : aether ( as lumine’s older brother ; having started out the same as his sister ) , venti ( a former soloist ) , xiao ( a former member of yaksha that disbanded several years prior ) .

DCKZ ( diluc | childe / ajax ; 23 | kaeya ; 27 | zhongli ; 29 )

a senior group , DCKZ is led by a veteran of the field ( zhongli hailed previous from a mixed gender group called the seven ) , this group is one of the FIRST to be scouted by teyvat entertainment . all members have participated in solo activites while working collaboratively together . DCKZ has a large following and has a variety of image ; the genre of music they put forth varies and is always changing . people may also recognize childe as tartaglia from his former group , the harbingers , a group under another company that had disbanded due to differences .

L/YUE ( beidou / ?? ; 28 | ningguang | ganyu | keqing )

another senior group , L/YUE originally started as a duet under another name before expanding to a group fo FOUR . with contrasting imagery but a cohesive sound , L/YUE is current a favorite girl group on scene . this group consists of soloists collaborating together , despite their varying genres as soloists , they work together well .

TVT ( bennett | razor | chongyun | xingqiu )

a new group that recently debuted with bright pop music , with the theme of taking their listeners on an adventure , it’s never a dull moment with TVT . guiding their listeners through a journey as they flourish with their fans , they want to show everyone a brand new world .

SCARAMOUCHE ( tsukamoto yukiharu ; 27 )

former member of the harbingers , scaramouche had kept his alias and moved to a solo career as a rapper - singer . the image and sound he produces is largely different from what he began as and has surprised many of his old fans . he hopes to keep surprising and keep bringing forth new things and content for his audience as he takes the helm for his music composition and production .

Xinyan Build Guide

Xinyan is probably the most neglected character in the game right now. I’ll refrain from making fun of her Sandy Cheeks ass English VA but I think this mostly stems from her kit being kinda awkward. Her pyro application isn’t the greatest and as far as shields go Noelle and Diona are simply better 4⭐️ options. But Xinyan is still worthy of love and if you’re looking to build her hopefully this will help!

Role

Xinyan can fill many roles in a team comp. She can be main (physical) DPS, Sub DPS, or just a support. The issue is that regardless what role you put her in you most likely have another character that does it better. She’s also one of those characters that really relies on her constellations to be viable. In my opinion, she works best as a Sub DPS and shielder and if you do have her at c2+ she is pretty good at that role.

Talents

Prioritize Xinyan’s Burst unless building her as physical DPS. In that case prioritize her Normal Attacks first

Xinyan’s talents ascend with Books of Gold, Treasure Hoarder Insignias, and at higher levels Tusk of Monoceros Caeli.

I don’t recommend taking her past Lv70 unless you’re using her as a physical DPS.

Weapons

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Skyward Pride; The Unforged; Wolf’s Gravestone; Song of Broken Pines (?)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Sacrificial Greatsword; Whiteblind; Serpent Spine; Favonius Greatsword

Skyward Pride is BiS for DPS and Sub DPS roles due to its energy Recharge and high attack scaling. I’m not sure if the new claymore in 1.5 will surpass this due to its physical damage buff, but as a Sub DPS ER is very important. Serpent Spine is also very good for DPS.

Sacrificial Greatsword is BiS as a pure support and is even better than Skyward Pride as a full support role. Prototype Archaic is a solid f2p option for DPS while the Whiteblind is recommended for support.

Artifacts

Overview - Sub DPS / Support

(4pc) Noblesse Oblige; (2pc) NO, (2pc) Exile; (4pc) Tenacity of the Millelith

Noblesse is the standard for any burst support character and Xinyan is no exception. If you’re already running a 4pc user consider using exile with it for the extra ER.

If you have c2+ you might consider Tenacity of the Millelith. Xinyan is currently (and conditionally) the best shielder in the game for this artifact set right now as long as she can maintain her level 3 shield. (This is much easier to do at c2)

If you already have a good burst support and want some more general support out of Xinyan then TotM is a very good option!

Stats

Timepiece: Energy Recharge or Def%

*Run ER unless she’s already >170%

Goblet: Def% or Physical Dmg Bonus

*Def% for stronger shield, Phys Dmg for more Burst Dmg

Circlet: Def% or Crit

Sub Stat Priority

Def% > Crit > Energy Recharge > Atk%

*if c2 you don’t need Crit rate since her burst always crits. Stack Crit Dmg instead

Overview - DPS

(2pc) Pale Flame, (2pc) Bloodstained; (4pc) Retracing Bolide; (4pc) Gladiator

PF/Bloodstained is most consistent for physical DPS. Retracing Bolide is also a solid option. Go with whatever gives the best sub stats. She can also use 4pc Gladiator set.

Stats

Timepiece: Atk%

Goblet: Physical Damage Bonus

Circlet: Crit

Sub Stat Priority

Crit > Atk% > ER > Atk > Def%

Team Comps

Xinyan is pretty flexible with her team comps. She can fit wherever you need a burst support or shielder. For DPS she pairs well with cryo and electro for superconduct support. Bennett is a great partner for her as a battery, healer, damage buffer and he provides Pyro resonance.

Note: Xinyan pairs well with physical DPS units as her shield increases physical dmg!

Xinyan + Bennett + Fischl + Diona/Rosaria/Kaeya

Burst Support

Razor + Diona + Xinyan + Bennett

Ningguang + Albedo/Zhongli + Bennett + Xinyan

TLDR

Xinyan isn’t the most popular character in the game and she’s not really the first pick for any one role, but if built correctly she can still be viable! If you’re lucky and happen to have her constellations (c2 is most important) then she’s a solid bring on any team! She uses Books of Gold, Treasure Hunter Insignias and Tusks of Monoceros Caeli to level her talents. For DPS the Skyward Pride, Serpent Spine, and Prototype Archaic are great weapon options while Sacrificial Greatsword and Whiteblind are good for support. She can use a variety of artifact sets depending on her role. She fits into most team comps but especially synergizes with physical damage.

Hopefully this guide was helpful in some way! We stan the rocker girl from Liyue, even if her English voice sounds like Sandy Cheeks. 🐿

Idk if you've already answered this or not but who's on your team for genshin? I dont really know how to make mine stronger so im curious to see what youre working with lol. Btw i love ur new theme its super cute!!

my team is 0/10 not rlly recommended i'll explain why in a second

currently i'm running xiao diluc jean and bennett.

xiao is a selfish dps - meaning he doesn't work as support and his element doesn't help the other party members (it ends once he leaves the field). jean and bennett are recommended party members for him because of their healing, element, and resonance.

diluc is also a main dps character but he's been forced into a support position on my team because it's just handy at this point. i mostly use him as an elemental burst support. i basically just use his pyro and then switch to xiao for swirl and stuff.

ideally, diluc would be replaced with zhongli or another shield character - i have c4 beidou but my beidou is only like level 40 atm so she's not strong enough to support xiao.

for my other team ideally it would be diluc as main dps, chongyun, xingqiu, and jean but my chongyun is only level 9 and i just got xingqiu yesterday so he's level 1 atm so they are also def def def not strong enough to support diluc.

so as a result i have a messy team of 2 dps and an anemo x2 + pyro x2 set up it's not ideal but it does work well enough i suppose i don't rlly have any problems running it.

another reason i have all my 5*s on one team is bc i like to keep them on for leveling up so they don't rot lmaoooo 😭

there's a lot of superiority complexes that go into team building in genshin. a lot of people basically....feel over opinionated on your team build and i've even seen people who kick other players out of their world and refuse to play with them bc they use like amber or kaeya and stuff.

so i rlly have to say, just play the game how you want. i have a stupid team comp myself but it works well enough and i enjoy having diluc and xiao on my team bc i love them both. put 2 selfish dps on a team if u fancy !!!

assigning some of my favorite characters genshin mains and teams because i Can and i Will

i know the amount of 5stars ive assigned a lot of them is lowkey unreasonable but i dont care dhsjfbsk this is purely based on vibes or if it fits their character also this is my opinion so let me vibe please

suzuya juuzou - rosaria main definitely. he’d also love and use hu tao, xiao, and zhongli (shinopapa vibes *cries*). i realize now i unknowingly gave him a full polearm team, but honestly it makes sense bc he would Absolutely Love all the polearm users, the polearms remind him of his scythe (he wishes rosaria had an actual scythe). i also think he would love scaramouche and is anxiously awaiting him becoming playable (me too dude, me too)

nagito komaeda - bennett main !!! he would see that unlucky boy and be like , you are me, i love you, you are precious, im maining you (he would be so much nicer to bennett than he is himself and he would probably cry while doing bennett’s hangout event). i think he’d also use ganyu, xiao, and ningguang (i have no basis for the latter three that was entirely gut feeling but i think it fits honestly). i also think he would have almost every 5star unlocked, as well as every 4star at c4 or higher, because his luck is just too damn good- although his bad luck kicked in and almost stopped him from getting xiao who he really wanted, so he whaled in order to get him

inosuke hashibira - not only would he main razor, but he would probably refuse to ever switch to any other character- he would have the starters (traveler [whose name is “INOSUKE” in all caps just like that], kaeya, and amber) but theyre all level 20 and razor is constantly on life support, but he is completely maxed out (c6, level 90, full level talents, fully levelled wolf’s gravestone). tanjiro is constantly yelling at him to start using more characters (he is the reason the others are level 20) but that just makes inosuke even more stubborn. should he eventually cave, he would probably also use venti (reminds him of zenitsu), childe (reminds him of tanjiro), and noelle (for nezuko- although he had to ask tanjiro for some help on that one)

ran mitake - Definitely xinyan main <3 i mean, the sole rock n roll musician of liyue ?? you Cannot !! tell me she wouldnt love xinyan. she would also have a super rad support barbara, as well as jean (reminds her of tomoe) and xingqiu (reminds her of moca). she doesnt have the room on her team, but she also really loves noelle because she reminds her of tsugumi, and amber because she reminds her of himari. she used them for a very long time because of that, she got clowned by some players who think the starter characters suck, but its ok cause ran knows theyre wrong and she does what she wants<3

ako udagawa - i struggled here bc i think she would absolutely Love a bunch of them but lets see- she would definitely Main and kin fischl for so many reasons (her style, the way she speaks, her general personality, and she wants a pet like oz). i think she’d also really love rosaria and hu tao (she Loves their aesthetics as well as how they are in battle, although hu tao is typically on the verge of death bc she always forgets to make food), as well as jean and sucrose (those two remind her of tomoe and rinko respectively and she’d probably switch them out depending on what she’s doing)

rinko shirokane - definitely sucrose main <3 she would also probably use fischl bc ako vibes !! plus i think she would be SUPER great at doing aimed shots and would do SO MUCH DAMAGE when hitting oz with an aimed shot- as well as mona bc i hc that she’s really interested in astrology and also hc that she loves mage characters in games (whether that is canon or not, i am not sure). also she would use bennett, both for extra healing as well as really loving him- she probably feels so bad for the poor unlucky boy awww :((

rio ranger - he switches between maining xiao and childe. he also uses diluc and rosaria !! he used kaeya for a very long time, but when rosaria came out he was like “I NEED HER”- pulling for rosaria was actually how he got childe, but he didnt mind because he actually really liked childe

reko yabusame - i really tried to give her someone other than xinyan but honestly i think she would love xinyan too much to not main her. she loves her style and her backstory so much, and she really wishes xinyan got more content. she also uses childe (bc alice vibes- no its not bc of the murderer stuff, i personally think they relate in other ways), sucrose (bc nao vibes), and beidou (bc she thinks beidou is hot as fuck, plus good elemental reactions and defense)

joe tazuna - i cant quite pick a single main but i think his team would be razor (dogboy joe go brr), bennett, venti, and maybe klee !! he loves the vibes of them all. he pulled jean and considered using her because she has sara vibes, but he decided to stick with venti mainly because he simply did not feel like grinding for her materials (i mean can you blame him? im currently struggling enough with that)

mutsuki tooru - first off the only reason he started playing was bc he saw saiko playing it and was intrigued. he would switch between maining xingqiu and venti !! it was love at first sight for him. he thought he would never get venti for a long long time, bc he missed venti’s first run. he used chongyun up until he pulled venti !! he also started saving his primos as soon as he heard speculation about venti having a rerun- and sure enough, he pulled him!! he felt like the happiest boy on earth<3 he would also have xiangling because he likes her vibes as well as her abilities, as well as albedo just bc he really likes him (he’s super invested in the homonculus + khaenri’ah theories and probably would make multiple tumblr posts about it)

ibuki mioda - xiny- *SMACKED* Actually i think she would have xinyan on her team, but her main? either klee or xiangling !! she loves their vibes n they lowkey remind her of herself. i also think she would really like diona for some reason, and probably beidou, idk why i just get the vibes !! she would have a Sick diona i just know it

chihiro fujisaki - i feel like he would switch between maining yanfei and sucrose !! yanfei just bc they like her, sucrose bc he relates to her a Lot <3 they would also use ningguang bc he admires her intelligence and determination, as well as chongyun- i almost gave him barbara, and i think they would love to use her, but he probably figured its not a good idea to have a full catalyst team despite how much they love catalysts, so he went with their next fave !! plus he knows claymores are super useful so it was a huge plus. he’s Super smart so they have so many tactics he uses, they’re Amazing with artifacts, and they Live for skillfully executed elemental combos

mikan tsumiki - she would have a full healer team, no doubt. barbara main !! duuuude she would have the SICKEST dps barbara omggg- she would do So much damage And be an Amazing healer !!! plus bennett, jean, and qiqi !!! she loves them all very much <3
