One Line, Any Fic

I was tagged by @sunsetcurbed (like a month ago, I'm sorry rip) (here is her post, definitely take a look!) and it looks like so much fun, so here we go!

If he weren’t so busy regretting his life choice, he probably would’ve fallen asleep again right here on the table.
2. Pretend-Fiancée and literal Partner-In-Crime (don't try to steal my watch again)
Alex is just about to give in to the tug, catching Willie’s eyes dropping down to his own lips, when the cardboard box the ring was stored in gives in to gravity and tumbles over the edge of the table to the ground with a dull thud
3. Between Chaos and Contentment (and a little Creativity)
Alex decides that five minutes under cold water is too long so he gets an ice cube wrapped in a paper towel instead, dripping water everywhere.
4. Whore /Affectionate
Then, because he feels kinda stupid, he hesitantly places his hands at the sides of Willie’s thighs, careful to not go too far towards butt-territory.
5. When I got to touch you, I touched the sun (just like I always wanted)
It wasn’t a conscious decision for Willie to look at Alex—Willie couldn’t look away anymore.
5. You think I'm cool? (Unfortunately, I do)
When Bobby tells Reggie to open his eyes again, he runs his thumbs underneath them one more time, checking if they’re even, and adding a little more on the left.

“He looks murderous! He was looking at me like I was his breakfast!”

Do not get attached to Willie.

Bobby presses a quick kiss to Reggie’s lips, they are both calling their ‘good bye’s to Luke and Julie before Bobby pushes him out the door.
9. Don't come into a man's house and insult his shampoo (unless it's your boyfriend's)
“I-,“ Alex starts, calming down again, “yes, I will help you wash your hair.”
10. Rambo the Hamster (don't give Reggie a Cat)
“Oh, no, nothing, it’s just that this little guy here,” Alex pointed to the cat on his lap, “doesn’t really give off Rambo-vibes.”

Rarely, of course, doesn’t mean never. Years ago, freshly a ghost and with more time on his hands than he’d like, Willie had made a mental list of all the pieces he and his friends made. He’d come up with a route to take to visit all of them, just to see the little drawings. Just to see that reminder that once upon a time, he was there.
vibrant: from a julie-centric fic set in the family that i chose series:
It’s just that the colour doesn’t seem to matter anymore. Sure, it’s fall and the leaves are vibrant shades of red and orange and yellow, something she spent hours on end trying to capture in her art last year, something she used to love dearly. Now, though, Julie kicks through the piles on the ground and thinks that she couldn’t care less.

smile: from a masterchef au, in a confessional from julie:
“I’m looking down from the balcony, and the only people I’m worried about are Kayla and Bobby. Reggie's stew looks amazing and Willie seems to know what he’s doing. But Kayla messed up her spices earlier, which can seriously mess with the flavour of the dish. And Bobby seems to really struggle with this challenge. I wonder if he’ll use his immunity pin.”
She smiles at the camera. “Honestly, I’m glad I’m not down there cooking right now. I’m not strictly vegetarian, like Bobby, but this is definitely too much meat for my liking.”

4: What are your favorite types of fanworks to make?
The thing I do the most(and am probably the best at) is writing fanfics, mostly one shots and stuff cause I have a short attention span, lol! But I also love drawing when I have the time and ideas for it. It's so fun and occasionally turns out pretty!
6: What has been one of your favorite fandom experiences?
Okay, there's so many, but one thing that has been really special for me is that, pretty soon after I got into reading fics on AO3, I started betaing a long fic for @michelangelinden. It's called Between Chaos and Contentment(and a Little Creativity), and just... getting the chapters early and editing and screaming about them with him and just... the whole thing has been absolutely amazing!!! I love them and that fic so much!!! (everyone should go read it!)
8: Who are three fanwork creators (fic writers, gifmakers, artists, meta writers, etc.) that you love seeing on your dash?
Okay, these are in no particular order. First one has to be @latinposeidon. The headcanons and all the fun stuff he posts is amazing! @wr0temyway0ut is another lovely one that I love seeing around! His SMAUs my beloved!!! Last one I'll put here is @lyxchen! Her art is so pretty!!!! I love it so much!
9: What’s a fanwork that made you laugh?
Answered here! But also I have more so... One of yours that cracks me up every time is When the Moon Hits Your Eye Like a Big Pizza Pie, that's a Werewolf. Luke as a werewolf and just... doing weird stuff! I love it, it(and the whole series) makes me laugh every single time!

16: Are there fanworks in JatP that you’ve revisited multiple times?
Yes. Tons. I have a whole list in my head of Willex cuddle fics I go read when I'm feeling depresso. I am a chronic rewatcher/reader/listener. Everything I recommend in here or any other ask is probably something I've read at least three times. Well here's one from the list... Just Let Me Adore You by @julies-butterflies! So cute and soft, I love them so much!
18: What fanwork of yours would you like more fans to check out?
Oh. Um. Well, I don't think anyone should have to read any of my stuff, cause I don't think it's very good. I guess if I have to send you to any of mine, it would probably be You Are My Getaway. It's a cute little Willex fic that I wrote for Michelangelinden(tagged above on a previous question), and I think it turned out pretty cute!

Answered here! But also I have more so... Petals Under the Edges of my Skin by QueenoftheQuill. I just adore this fic so much and everyone should read it, even if you don't ship Julie and Bobby. It's just fricking gorgeous!

Geez, again with the hard questions? So many good ones! Just going through my AO3 history to the most recent one, We Can Lay Low by @curvesomesunsets. So cute!!!

... Am I allowed to say absolutely nothing? Like, I don't really... add much. I mostly enjoy everyone else's amazingness, rather than put in the stress and effort to put out my own stuff. I guess I'm a decent beta reader, so I help make other people's stuff better?

Between Reggie hanging out and commenting on Ray’s photography and Reggie being delighted with and commenting on that lady at Eats&Beats taking pictures of her food, I have concluded that Reggie would be the one to take all the cute Behind The Scenes footage for the Julie and the Phantoms social media pages Flynn runs. And yes he will go full Instagram Boyfriend and lay down on the floor to get the perfect shot of Julie looking like a rockstar or Alex looking all heart-eyed at Willie.
And yes Flynn starts letting him write captions which is why you’ve got things like ‘the way Alex looks at Willie is the same way Luke looks at a shiny new guitar (sorry Julie)’ and ‘I think Julie Molina should be president maybe’.

My gift for @curvesomesunsets for the JATP Gift Exchange @jatpgiftexchange. I know this is technically another chapter in an already written story, but it stands as its own little story, too, so, I hope you like it :3
It didn’t help that Reggie once again tried to make Alex take the chocolate, distracting him from the road for a split second. A split second that was enough for the van’s tire to step on something, making them all shake inside.
“No, no, no, nononono,” Alex mutters but it’s futile.
Bobby’s grandma’s old van is slowing down by the road, its front right tire completely busted.

1) How old were you when you first started writing fanfiction?
Okay. Two answers for this.
Because I think I was unconsciously writing “fanfic” when I was young. I’ve always loved creating new realities/continuing stories because I used to read an insane amount of books as a kid. I have all these notebooks from elementary school filled with short stories based on books and movies because I had an amazing teacher who encouraged us to be creative outside of typical school subjects. So that was probably when I was like 6 or 7.
But for fanfiction that I was posting on the internet? That probably started around when I was 14 and I first joined fandom on the internet. They definitely still exist somewhere on my old harddrives (and maybe on the internet 👀).
4) What is your favourite genre to write for?
Ohhh. I’ve never really thought about genres, but I guess it’s just contemporary? Things that are slice of life and set in modern day. Is that a genre? It is now. Sksjs
8) Where do you take your inspiration from?
Literally anything. And I mean anything. Music, movies, TV shows, a single random quote, a convo I had with a friend, a book or even something that happened to me during the day can spark up an idea.
But also, it’s basically whenever I talk to @tangledstarlight. It will literally be a random throwaway comment and for some reason we’ll both pick it up, treat it as a fic idea and run it into the ground. It’s both a curse and a blessing 🥰
17) Post a line from a WIP that you’re working on.
I’d like to think that me answering this means I’m working on it…but I’d be lying. Anyways, here’s a little bit from my Competitive!Willex fic!
“Alex vaguely remembers that night.
A hard emphasis on vaguely, because all he remembers is that one second they were each taking a shot from the bar, and then somehow he’s in front of their apartment door, arms locked around a neck and legs wrapped around the waist of someone smelling faintly like coconut.
The next morning, he was being woken up by Reggie screaming Tiny Dancer in the kitchen at the top of his lungs.”
33) What’s the biggest compliment you’ve gotten?
Not to be cheesy, but literally whenever someone reads anything I’ve written and either gives me a kudos/comment, that’s already the biggest compliment?!? Like what do you mean someone spent time reading something I wrote?!? That’s still very cool to me!!

Nick blinked, nodding his head in acknowledgement even if it wasn’t necessary. Caleb had heard it as soon as the thought had appeared, he heard everything. But Caleb didn’t tolerate rudeness. Just because he could hear every thought as they were formed didn’t mean Nick was allowed to slack on the niceties. Manners were what separated people from animals and Nick may be a largely useless tool but he wasn’t an animal, there were rules to follow.
I’m afraid our time has come to an end, Caleb interrupted. You’ve been a subpar host at best but a host nonetheless and it is considered rude to slip out the door without so much as a farewell. So goodbye Nicholas, do try to be less of a failure in the future.

so the actual last fic i worked on is the final chapter of places we were made, but the last line of that is a massive spoiler so i’ll go with the one i worked on right before that! this is from the horse nursery home au i accidentally started here:

A Willex Fantasy fic for @curvesomesunsets as part of the @jatpfs Secret Santa event.
Willie remembers the warnings. Humans are selfish. Do your job; focus only on your one singular human and protect them. The life of a guardian angel has one purpose and one purpose only. Don’t become too attached. Willie broke that last rule. They grew too attached to their human. To Alex.

Trevor has been back in the boys’ lives for three days now, and Julie’s not entirely sure if she’s happy for them all that they’ve reunited, or sad that they don’t seem to need her as much anymore, but she is sure that she’s the worst friend in the world for being in a position where she actually has to think about it.
It’s a weird place to be in, really, to be so goddamn touched at the way their faces light up as soon as Trevor’s car pulls into the drive way, and yet to feel that awful sting in her chest when they peel off the sofa they’d been curled up with her on, in order to go greet their old friend
