Ugh I seriously cannot stop rewatching Curzon vids that I have reposted 😭😍 his Hoseas impersonation of Dutch is so god damn wholesome and the lil dialoge he did between Dutch & Hosea is just everything 😩😭 can't get enough of "I love you babe, even tho it's a challenge" 😩 really wish that was an in-game dialog 🥺

I'm not normally bothered about ships ect as I like to enjoy characters as they are but I never fangirled so much about charaters relationships until VanderMatthews, to agree with arthur, they were meant to be ❤️🖤❤️🖤

Ben brings up some good points on why Dutch couldn't listen to Arthur and John but could allow Lenny or Sean to counter his arguments (which is something i've never consciously picked up on before but it makes so much sense when he explains it)

rdr2 fans need to accept the fact that hosea is a flawed character whose morality is just as complex as dutch or arthur's. he's got you all fooled. the bank job was entirely hosea's idea from start to finish. he was excited by it as he's excited by danger every time you're out doing something with him, from the bear hunt (which is his idea + he explicitly prefers the most dangerous approach to said idea) to the braithwaites-grays scheme. in ch4 he hypes up the tahiti/paradise "plan" just as much as dutch (he does so to arthur, to pearson, in speeches at least twice) but you all are too busy projecting the stereotype of the ~old wise father on him to see that. if hosea was "always right" he'd be a boring character

Something I find interesting in the RDR2 community is that EVERYONE (mostly manly men/12 year old boys, who play rdr2 on low honor) open their ears to listen to the actors when they hint at character theories like the “What’s wrong with Dutch” theories, or the “Is John really Jack’s father” theories, but AS SOON as Ben Davis & Curzon Dobell are like: “Dutch and Hosea are soulmates” or Noshir Dalal fully supporting Charthur, y’all don’t wanna hear it.
