Does anyone have any resources for replicating the Stardew Valley art style? I have some ideas for a custom romance-able npc but I'm not doing so well with the art.
Pausing the usual programming of D&D shenanigans to bring you another round of “MARNIE DESERVES BETTER.”
I was looking at dancing references when I realized I never posted this piece from earlier this year. There's another doodle I have buried somewhere that I need to fish out too.
Beach Farmer Kan’channa, her wife Haley, and sister-in-law Emily decided to make Marnie a nice dress because DAMMIT MARNIE DESERVES TO FEEL SPECIAL. Lewis can hole up in his mansion and stay there.
Description below the cut!
[DESCRIPTION: Marnie and Marlon waltz at the Flower Dance. Marnie’s wearing a dirndl-inspired dress with a green bodice with white lace shaped like wildflowers, and white skirt with bees along the border.
<THE DAY BEFORE THE DANCE>
Marnie: Thank you for the dress, girls. It's BEAUTIFUL. But... what if Lewis doesn't ask me to dance?
Kan'channa, Haley, Emily (seated in the farm living room, drinking tea): THEN HE'S A FUCKING IDIOT.
Haley and Emily: And then you break his arm! (Haley says this with a death glare, and Emily is a ray of sunshine. Unsure which is more terrifying.)
Are we gonna ignore the fact that the ldb mentioned their name only few times in a game. As far as I remember:
1) at the very beginning of the game, when the protagonist is asked by Hadvar "who are you?";
2) when Harkon asks the name of his daughter's saviour;
3) when they introduce themselves to Lucien;
4) in thalmor embassy during the party (optional).
Now hear me out
Kaidan and the ldb have been together for a long time, has gone through only god knows how many ordeals, almost facing their demise and well... Kaidan still has no clue of his spouse's name.
Now you know why he always calls you his sweetheart, love, darling, changeling and etc whereas you ALWAYS call him by his name.
