Bella Hadid in custom Dilara Findikoglu
I’m still not over it
“Bella as Mata Hari on her way to a Victorian funeral. Bella is wearing custom Dilara Fundikoglu for met gala afterparty. The corset is made from a hand woven Turkish moire embellished with victorian jet black beading and Victorian lace trimmings. The skirt part is made from a piece of handbeaded Belle Époque dress with a ruffled victorian cape used as a bustle.”
The details here. Dying. I’m dead. I screamed.

So I think a lot of my fellow artist people on Tumblr know that sometimes, money is crap for artists, especially disabled and queer artists. /waves/
Well, money is crap, and I just got hit with some unexpected bills, plus, my laptop that I thought was 'old but functional' just had its keyboard fail. So, I find myself in need of some extra funds, and this means I'm opening up knit and crochet commissions!
If you don't or can't knit or crochet, but have been eyeing something, well, I'm happy to make it for you. Send me an e-mail (or a message here on Tumblr!) about what you would like, and I will do my best to make it happen. It does not have to be one of my own patterns - I can work from other knit/crochet designers patterns if you have something specific in mind, provided their patterns allow for it. If you don't have a specific pattern you want, well, I can help you find the perfect look, too!
Payment will be by E-transfer, Etsy, or Paypal, depending on where you are in the world (because taxes, ugh), An average hand-knit or crochet accessory (hat, pair of mittens, etc) will be about 150 to 200 CAD, with that being variable based on yarn thickness, fiber choice (cashmere will cost more than cotton, for example), and more. I'm happy to do payments in installments, to help with things being more affordable, if that's a concern.
All the specifics on commissions are also up on my website, too.
And if this isn't a thing for you right now, please, I'd appreciate reblogs so that more folks see this!
Psst! If you are a knitter or crocheter, I also have patterns for sale!
