Cait; i could see her ending up with anyone, but I can't see her ending up happy with most of them. Honestly, I think her best bet would be Piper, maybe Preston. Preston, she'd have to have a lot of character development for...shake off some of her more raider-y traits. As for Piper, that's more her speed, and I think Cait would do well, having Nat around, getting to be Auntie Cait. Piper is more of a troublemaker and spitfire, and I think Cait could easily get bored with Preston. Happy, yes, but Cait gets a little stir crazy, not getting into trouble.

Curie; I fucking love Mac x Curie, I'll admit...but I'm not sure she'd, in text, care much for him. I also really like Curie x Danse, both are very cute to me. I think I like Danse x Curie more, as they're both scientifically minded, care very much about history and preservation of it, and big scary man who loves his small and sweet wife who's actually the weird, unsettling one is top tier.

Danse; Again, I can see him with Curie...and again, Preston as well. I've said before that Danse is very adaptable, romantically, so really, you could make a case for any of the other companions?? Some would absolutely be harder than others, and Gage is an outright fuck no, period. Gage is a fuck no for literally everyone here, spoilers. But Danse...as long as you've got some morals, and will be nice to him, you've got a chance. Low bar? Yeah. Yeah it is.

Deacon; Deacon can't even be romanced by fucking Sole. Bitch needs a crowbar to open up. But...if you have a taste for romantic black comedies...X6 x Deacon is fucking hilarious. Is it possible? No. Not even an inch. But that's not the point. The point is I like it and it's funny. As for what Deacon could actually land? Uh...no one? Hancock; I kinda like MacCock but Valencock is also pretty good...honestly, Hancock has never struck me as a...romance kinda guy? So here's my hot take one the "astarion is over serialized" conversation.

So we've all seen the studies about how to the human mind fictional relationships *feel* real right becuase I think we've been forgetting that. The people in this discussion arnt just observing astarion form a objective perspective in the astarion girlie group we all *feel* like where dating astarion where all one massive fictional pollyqule rotating around one vampire.

So the reason I bring that up is becuase a lot of people who see the sexulised content of him seem to come at it with the "well he wouldn't want that" like how you wouldn't want a stranger to cat call you, but the people doing it arnt "strangers" he's also there boyfriend. Like for example if irl we had a hypothetical lesbain couple becuase I said so and your friends or maybe your both dating partner a pick your poison. Anyways you know that you and partner b both know partner a has experienced sa. If yall are out say trying on sexy clothes and partner b is trying to hype up partner a with like "so sexy, very hot, fuck me up mommy" and you trun to parents a and are like "hey obvouly partner b dosnt like that becuase trauma" how do you think partner a would feel. anhywho this one was abpiut farmer wonwoo and city boy migyu and like bruh itsso. cute immma km, basically mingyu is established gay and wonwoo Is closeted but he knows he ain't straight but cant rlly come out cos his little village he lives in is like super not slay conservative . but when mignu comes around u can clearly see the tension and connection they have and i love how it slowly builds up with them becoming closer and how much comfort they have in each other, even to the point of becoming a thing. and then ofc there's issues cos mgiu has to go back and then wnwoo is like bro we cant be official bc village is hashtag anti gay yk,and and basically whenever they are intimate its always hidden. hm either way there's a scumrptious agnst in wonoos trust issues in himself and society and overall fear of comminutment in a way and of being perceived. oh ooh oh and mingyu has insomcnia and he can only sleep every so often or when in wonoos presence. they also have this super cute canopy scene that is where everything started, and where it also cutely ends. plus a slay use of side characters integrated perfectly, with cheol and jihooon and dk and dino and oc two lesbains who runa way from village so its like slay cos thehyre all close.
