- Aegon and Helaena, parents of two twins named Jaehaera and Jaehaerys, own their own respective businesses… that help each other out when it comes to sales.

- While Aegon and his fishing crew go out into the sea, they provide fish and crabs for Helaena’s booming restaurant who promotes her husbands business with her food.

- Aegon always makes sure that the twins can see him waving to them from the boat as they bike to school in the morning.

- Both of the twins can’t decide what they want more, to go fishing with their dad, or to work (eat all of her prepared food) in the restaurant with their mom.

- Helaena, since becoming pregnant with her and Aegon’s third child, has enlisted in the help of her mom Alicent. Alicent has been helping out at the restaurant and the kids love when Grandma is at the restaurant when they get home from school.

- Aegon likes to teach the kids how to tie the best knots and how to fish from the docks. He’s noticed that Jaehaerys is good with the knots while Jaehaera is better at the fishing. Though, he loves that both of his kids are passionate about learning.

- Helaena is known to stay up late creating new recipes, and Aegon, noticing that she’s not in bed, will sit in the kitchen with her. He likes to make a cup of coffee for himself, tea for Helaena, and listen to her talk.

For the longest time, I always thought I wanted to be an artist.

#and in a roundabout sort of way i am #and i doubt i'll ever make anything that's “worthy” enough to hang in a museum or gallery #but sometimes it's a lot more gratifying inspiring other people and helping them make stuff #helped a kid in my class today who didn't have a parent with them make a flower and a bat and a butterfly #they just needed a lot of help but they were so proud of that flower they made and were so excited they could take it home #another kid made the cutest bunny and a little diorama for it out of a piece of bark and literal trash we picked up on the trail #even made a little tail out of a gold sequin that they magically collected from somewhere #had another kid bring back a whole ass tumbleweed with grand ambitions to decorate it but then had a sudden change of plans #so sure you can draw a cat on your piece of origami paper with the hot glue gun kid just don't burn yourself or use all the glue sticks #i don't know what the moral of this story is but look i just had a nice day okay #some days i'm out there attempting to save a whole ass ecosystem and trying to convince people to give a shit #other days hanging out with kids and gluing bits of nicely folded paper to a twig #rambling into the void #little ghost on the prairie #tag essay

New hutch!

Now maybe these two won't make quite as big of a mess. Safety grate because I didn't want them to hurt their little toes, but Stewart WILL pee on the hay. Even if I secure the hay in what I THINK is a decent rack, he will find a way to pull it down and pee on it, and now everyone is sitting in pee and eating peed-on hay. I don't want them to get UTIs, so I got the safest looking option I could find. Plus, the hay provides plenty of padding in addition to being food! They seem pleased!

Gilly was not happy at first, but she came around! She just really dislikes change. I hear you, Gilly! I also do not adjust quickly to new things! But isn't it nice to share a meal with your special companion without sitting in pee!? Especially with those fluffy white feet!
