Telling Nibs

[Misty]

Misty pulled her sleeves down as she walked into the castle and was rushed to by some of the castle workers. She sighed as they asked about the ball she forgot to plan and she looked at them and rolled her eyes. “I have thrown numerous balls. Pick a theme and go with it. I literally don’t care.” She said pushing past them and bumping into someone. “Can watch where you are fucking-” She stopped as she saw it was Nibs. “Sorry.” She said softly.

[Nibs]

Nibs could sense something was off when he felt Misty running into him and started snapping at him. “I take it the talk with Peter didn’t go so well?” He asks before bringing her in for a hug. “I was worried about you while you were gone.”l

[Misty]

She felt Nibs hugging her and returned the hug for a second before pulling away. “It was fine. I didn’t...I forgot to ask about my parents stuff.” She said as she looked at him.

[Nibs]

“That’s okay. So I was thinking that we could start decorating the baby’s nursery today? I cleared some time in our schedules so we could spend that time together.” He tells her. 

[Misty]

“What? No...I can’t, sorry. I have this ball I have to go to tonight and we really should talk Nibs. We can do the baby stuff later.” 

[Nibs]

“Talk about what? Should I be worried?” He asks as his eyebrows knitted together in concern. “Was it something Peter told you?” 

[Misty]

“Peter didn’t tell me anything. I didn’t go there to...I lied okay? I didn’t go to ask about my parents or Mark or anything like that.” She told him before taking his hand and moving to a room so they had more privacy.

[Nibs]

When Misty brought him to the other room he was even more concerned and rather confused. “Then why did you go there?” He asks as he follows her. 

[Misty]

Misty walked into the room and closed the door before letting go of Nibs’ hand. “I went there…” She stopped as she looked at him and looked away. “To have sex with him.” 

[Nibs]

Nibs could feel his blood run cold at her words. “Why? Why would you go there to do that? You know he’s not really interested in women right?” 

[Misty]

“I didn’t need him to feel anything for me...I just wanted sex. And I got it. I had sex with him.” She lied as she pushed her hair out of her face.

[Nibs]

“Yeah I highly doubt that. Given Peter’s history with someone kissing Fox while knowing full well they were together. He wouldn’t do that. So why are you lying to me? Why are you trying to push me away again?”

[Misty]

“Well it helped that I practically said he wouldn’t do it and then he just has to be right.” She said. “I mean, I just...I thought it would be easier.” 

[Nibs]

“You thought that what would be easier? Lying to me about sleeping with Peter or actually being honest with me as to why you are trying to get me to break up with you or leave you?” 

[Misty]

“No. Easier to tell you that I slept with Peter than to tell you this baby isn’t yours.” She said quickly as she looked at him. She stopped as she didn’t know why she said that but she just went with it. “I told Peter I would sleep with him if he started you over again...it was easier.”

[Nibs]

“Yeah? And who’s kid is it then? We already went to the doctor and confirmed it was mine.  So nice try.” He could tell her heart skipped a beat when she lied to him. “What do you think you are trying to accomplish here Misty? Are you trying to hurt me as my words did to you?” 

[Misty]

“It’s Dylan’s.” She said. “I’m not lying. If you don’t believe me, call him. I haven’t seen him and there would be no way that I would be able to tell him to lie for me. So if you are so sure, call him.”

[Nibs]

“Okay so then this is revenge for the whole Sam thing is that it? You wanted us to be even so now we supposedly are? It doesn’t matter if you have his kid we are still married to each other Misty. We can figure something out.” 

[Misty]

“Nibs would you stop lying to me and yourself. It’s not the same and we aren’t the same. You can’t accept the fact it’s not yours. You act like you are just going to be okay with this, but you aren’t. It means I don’t need you in the doctor's office or at appointments. I don’t need you to make a nursery because I have to talk to Dylan about it. None of these decisions will be yours to make or help me make.”

[nibs]

“If you were able to move past the fact I had a child before you with someone else, and both of us clearly changed then why can’t I? Unless, you have been lying and you really aren’t accepting of Stiles and this is to try to prove I feel the same way if you had a kid with someone else.” 

“I want to be there when you tell him. I think you are trying to push me away by telling me things you think will hurt me. If you don’t want me, just say it, don’t do all this just to keep up some rouze.” 

[Misty]

“It’s not about not wanting you. I want you. But I also want to eat strawberries and chocolate everyday but I can’t because it’s unhealthy. It’s not about wanting. Do you see how possessive you get when I am pregnant? You are telling me you are okay watching Dylan with me like that knowing I loved him and those feelings could come back?”

[Nibs]

“We have both changed Misty but that doesn’t mean things are over or that we have to give up and can’t have what we want. If you want to keep his child, that is your own decision. We still have a family, yes I understand you would have to split time between our family and your new one. You loved him at one point, maybe, but that doesn’t mean it would come back Misty. I know you will always love me no matter what and even Dylan can’t change that.” 

[Misty]

“You don’t know that. We can’t even be alone because I am scared I will sleep with him. I am scared I will forget all about you and pick him. That is what will happen if I have to see him over and over by myself. You are telling me you are perfectly fine with that risk because you know I will always love you?”

[Nibs]

“If you are that worried then I can go with you. You can’t assume you will have those feelings for him. And in the end, you are the one in control over the situation not him. Your decisions are yours and yours alone. We are soulmates forever Misty. There is no one anywhere that I would ever love as much as I love you. So yes, I am confident that you will come back to me eventually, we always find our way back to each other no matter what the situation.” 

[Misty]

“I could never love you after you said that I am the reason your kids are dead.” She said before stopping as she heard her words. She went quiet as she looked away from him. “You want to go to Dylan right, to see if I’m lying? Then we should go now. I need to be back before the ball.”

[Nibs]

“So that is what this is about...Misty. I told you I wasn’t blaming you for them dying. I wasn’t holding some huge grudge or whatever you might think. I said it without thinking much like I feel you are doing right now. I say a lot of things I don’t mean when I am angry and you know that. The twins dying was my own decision, it wasn’t yours. You had no part in that.” He tells her. 

[Misty]

“Stop.” She said looking at him. “You were right. Stop saying you didn’t mean it.” She told him before tugging on her sleeve. “Can we go please?” 

[Nibs]

“Misty, I was wrong when I said it. I didn’t mean it.” He says before noticing her tugging on her sleeves again. “Are you cutting again?” He asks before moving her sleeve up before she could stop him. “Misty...I thought we went over this…” 

[Misty]

“Nibs…” She said, trying to move away before he took her arm. She saw him pushing up her sleeve and took her arm back. “They are old. Just...I stopped okay? I did. For the baby…” She said looking away from him. “Let’s go.” 

[Nibs]

“Then you wouldn’t mind if I healed them for you right? So that you don’t have to use your powers because of the baby.” He says while raising a brow wondering if she would agree to it or not. 

[Misty]

She stopped as she heard his question and bit her lip before nodding, “Yeah...yeah sure.” She agreed.

[Nibs]

Nibs used his powers to heal her wrists from the cuts that were there. “There now you don’t have to worry about them anymore.” He reassures her with a small smile. 

[Misty]

“Uh...thanks.” She smiled softly before moving past him and opening the door. “Let’s go.” She said again and left to tell the driver to bring the car around.

[Nibs]

“Are you really sure about this? Going and telling Dylan about this? I mean, what if he doesn’t want you to have the kid cuz of Ombra and all?” 

[Misty]

“Then I’ll get rid of it.” She said under her breath and moved away from Nibs as the car came around and she got inside. 

[Nibs]

“Okay but if it turns out to be ours?” He asks. “Would you really get rid of our child?”

[Misty]

“It’s not yours Nibs.” She said looking at him and then turning to the driver. “Can you please drive to Dylan’s house please? Thanks.”

[Nibs]

“You really are going along with that? I know it’s mine from the last time we visited the doctor and there was no way you lied to me about what we talked about.” He tells her. “Why are you insisting on bringing him down with you? On bringing us down?” 

[Misty]

“If you are so sure then why don’t you want to go?” She asked. “I lied to you about Finn hitting me for months until you saw it by accident. I am good at lying.” 

[Nibs]

“We didn’t share a heart during that time. And no, I knew something was wrong when you didn’t want to hang out with me anymore after being with Finn.” He tells her. “I can always feel when you are pregnant...the baby is mine. I feel and know it but if you want to go on with this then sure we can do that.” 

[Misty]

“Then it must suck that I rather have Dylan’s fake baby then yours.” She said before staying silent as she looked out the window. She tugged on her sleeves and sighed softly.

[Nibs]

“Yeah it does, and I can’t understand why you are doing it instead of just telling me what is wrong.” He says. “Why do you want me to leave you?” 

[Misty]

“I don’t. And from what it seems you are perfectly okay sharing me with Dylan so...why would I think this would make you leave?” She asked before the car stopped. “Let’s get this over with.” She said getting out of the car.

[Nibs]

“I am not fine with it because I know it’s not something that you nor I want.” He says before stopping her from getting out of the car. “What is the real issue Misty, why are you doing this?” He asks sincerely. “Why are you trying to hurt me?” 

[Misty]

Misty stopped as she felt Nibs taking her arm and stopping her. She just looked at him and kissed him softly, “You should have let me die in that tub.” She said against his lips before getting out before he could stop her. She moved to the door and knocked it as she waited for Dylan.

[Nibs]

Hearing her words, he was confused as his eyes flashed blue. “Why would you say something like that?” He asks before she got out of the car. 

[Misty]

“Dylan? Could you please come out now? It’s...it’s Misty and Nibs...I need to talk to you.” She said ignoring Nibs’ words and how he’s feelings were affecting her.

[Nibs]

“You say one thing and do another Misty. If you want me to leave just say it. I don’t see what all this is trying to prove. You know that I will want you no matter what. But all this, you say you love me and yet you are doing this. My actions reflect on my words, but yours aren’t lining up. It’s confusing me. If you want us to take a break we can but I can’t...I can’t do this.” 

[Misty]

“I didn’t ask you to. You are the one that wants to be right. You just have to prove to me that you will still love me if the baby is Dylans and yet you are standing here proving exactly the opposite. You can’t handle this and I fucking knew you couldn’t. But instead of being honest and saying all of this when we were home you wait until now to fucking say something and that’s not fair to me. Because then I have to deal with all of this shit when I could have dealt with it before. So Nibs why don’t you finally do what you want and stop asking me what I want?”

[Nibs]

“So that is what this is about...you think that I am not doing what I want to do? If you think any of this is what I wanted then you don’t know me at all. I was being honest back there but now I caught you in yet another lie Misty. I knew this was some sort of test to see how far I would take it. But I am going to do what I want and prove that no matter what I am going to be there for you when you need me. So whenever you decide that you actually want me and stop this whole charade, you can come and find me. I hate being tested and toyed with and you know it. I can’t believe you would actually go this far to hurt me.” He says before his eyes turn blue. 

“Have fun falling for Dylan all over again. Something you clearly want after going this far.” He says before turning away and getting into the car and telling the driver to drive him home.
