The WB will be filming for Walker between 2-8pm today between my workplace and the community gardens where I keep a bunch of plants. I can see part of the area where they will be from the 7th floor of my lab building. I forgot to bring my Sam Winchester Funko Pop today, and I might go back home during lunch to grab it, just in case Jared Padalecki shows up. 😆 They are going to film a short driving scene, where a car is driven east along 49th st and then parked into our state-owned garage.

I think the reason the Walker, Texas Ranger reboot was such a fucking dismal failure (rating-wise, somehow it is still going) ((probably because it’s on the CW)) was because Padalecki came across as a ranger who would definitely work with ICE to get people deported whereas Chuck Norris comes across as a guy who would literally hide undocumented kids in his basement to protect them from ICE.

Also they gave Walker a family (Padalecki is a widower with two children) and he’s a SHITTY DAD. I’m so FUCKING TIRED of shitty dads because they were married to their jobs and not their families.

Also also???? Needs more martial arts. It didn’t make sense in the original but by god it works.

Gotham Knights is Cancelled

The last of the SPN trio’s new shows has been cancelled. First it was Jensen Ackles’s The Winchesters, then Jared Padalecki’s Walker: Independence, and now Misha Collins’s Gotham Knights. None of these shows managed to find new homes on other networks of streaming platforms after the CW decided they were too costly to continue. The perhaps only saving graces are that Padalecki’s Walker Texas Ranger revival, simply titled Walker, has been renewed for a fourth season on the CW, The Boys continues further with Jensen as Soldier Boy, and Ackles’s western film “Rust” is set to be released. Also, with Misha being as phenomenal of an actor as he is, it won’t be long till he starts a new project.

Thank you to @stunudo for correcting me in the comments. Due to what is thought to be scheduling conflicts, Jensen is no longer in the film Rust with his character having been recast. Let’s hope we see him on the big screen soon though.

REVIEW: Walker Season 4's Premiere Is a Comfortably Welcome Return

Season 4's premiere episode, "The Quiet," is a good example of what the show does overall. Its focus on family to wacky action beats that keep the audience invested.

Walker exemplifies an era of television that feels like it's rapidly disappearing from the American broadcast landscape. This isn't to say that the Season 4 premiere is flawless, but it’s perfect for what Walker usually does and aims for. The show finally found its voice, and is confidently striding forward. Walker fans will find plenty to like in Season 4's premiere and Walker's long-awaited return from an 11-month hiatus.

However, there are signs that things will get darker and deadlier for the Walker family and the Texas Rangers in Season 4 -- especially for Walker's superior officer, Captain Larry James. The Season 3 finale revealed that The Jackal, a serial killer who deeply traumatized James and caused the initial implosion of his marriage, was back on the loose. This, despite the fact that The Jackal was supposedly killed years ago.

The Jackal's return will be further explored in Season 4 and signals that things won't be all sunshine and family fun nights for the Walker family. It also gives the rest of the Rangers an especially twisted test of their skills.

Walker Season 4 premieres April 3 at 8pm ET/PT on The CW. New episodes will be available to stream the next day on The CW app.
