Month 7, day 26

LOL okay, so, I wasn't gonna do this for my daily art, but I did it and now I'm all arted out for the evening XD

I did a lot of photo editing on that pic of Susurrus that I want to use as my new lockscreen. @cruelfeline is right, he's a very shiny boi, and also I decided I didn't like the artifacting that the editing tools in the Photos app gave you. So into ProCreate I went to make adjustments and make him super extra pretty without blowing out the pixels too bad.

There's only so much I can do considering all of these are JPEG screen captures from my PS5, and even though I have 4K it's still... well, jpeg-y. But I really like how this turned out, it's not overwhelming (to me) at full brightness in pitch darkness (tested by shutting myself in my windowless bathroom and letting my eyes adjust to the dark before I turned on my phone), and the artifacting is relatively minimized as much as I can with ProCreate. So all in all, a successful experiment!

My favorite bit, though? All of the color layers I added to this are the known colors of magic :) Including yellow and that cyan Rheddig magic :)

Currently reading: i follow a s/teven u/niverse comic and a PMD n/uzlocke comic! i'm also subbed to Dracula Daily and like reading the emails every day

Last movie: Honestly? No clue. I hardly ever watch movies, so whatever it was probably happened months ago lmao

What are you wearing: shorts and an oversized t-shirt. i am just........... vibing.

Piercings/Tattoos?: absolutely none! i used to have earrings but i've stopped wearing them so the holes are gone
