Make sure your players know how to properly hold a sword! I’d give extra points for the last one.

decided to do an armor progression for my main gal Sorbet, since she.... Hooo baby had a BIG character changing session. Look how bright eyed she was at the start of the game before my DM put her through The Horrors....
This is still a wip, but I love seeing how much she's changed. Semi bare refs below cut (Also very proud of my art progression 1.5 years apart :) )

I'M STILL CATCHING UP
Here's #Repostober day 12 - my halfling eldritch knight fighter Reed (they/them), from a previous D&D campaign! Fun fact: I originally made Reed as my FFXIV character before I changed them to Roscoe, which is why they look so alike!

My good friend and Uber talented artist @wombywoo has done yet another wonderful commission for me.
This is my half-orc fighter Haru of Tenmei that I’m playing in Curse of Strahd 🧛‍♂️ 🦇
As ever she understands the assignment and I’m so happy with how she’s brought my springy and acrobatic fighter to life. Please please please check her out ❤️❤️❤️

Bigby The Crispy Bugbear
Tumblr media
This was from a more "light hearted" dungeon crawl campaign that involved infernal grandmas and Cookies.
First time drawing a bugbear, with burn scars, wearing oven mitts...
If you're curious he's a Lvl 6 Champion Fighter with studded leather and a greatsword. Bigby snuck into a grandmother's house and put his hand in a cookie jar, not knowing it was cursed and made the flesh of his hand cookie dough! Giving him a stigma of grandmas and a motive to enter the campaign's dungeon.
He ended the session covered with burn marks and grandma themed magic items and vows to get his revenge or die trying!

Continuing my series of illustrating up RPG-character items with the classic Fighter class!
This once felt like it would have been the easiest, but I made it harder for myself by trying to really make some original items and give each a some interesting details. I didn't want them to be too basic, but I also wanted each to still feel functional and not-fancy. That lead to using some interesting shapes and getting more curious textures in there if I could. It was a ton of fun learning to draw a variety of weapon and armor types.
I'm also growing more and more on this technique of using a brush and acrylic inks to do the lineart!
These designs are also available on stickers and buttons in my Ko-fi shop!
