I’ll never forgive him who has put meg through two years of trauma that he caused and made her look like a liar when he was the one who shot her. I wish He and his fans a very rih(as in rot in hell) Same thing with Drake , Joe budden , Zach Campbell, Lebron James , Mariah the scientist, Dababy, Dj akademiks, 50 cent, all the media outlets that were slutting themselves out for this piece of trash by spreading misinformation and lies about his trial so much that they didn’t care about being ethical or professional (the fact that two white women and crime journalists were more accurate than “black” bloggers is just whewww I’m pissed) and everyone else who ever doubted her and I meant that with the upmost disrespect. Like seriously they can all burn right now, heck I’ll get the matches and kerosene and fry them arssholes myself.
Meg tried to protect him until he opened his mouth. The DA prosecuted him and she was still treated like a villain instead of a victim/survivor. Absolutely DISGUSTING. That man brought his child to court as a prop for sympathy knowing DAM WELL he was guilty 🤡. I pray that Meg and any woman/man dealing with domestic violence, are able to move on and heal. Stay strong, keep your head up, and make yourself a plan to leave. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
It’s crazy the amount of people who defended this violent troll over a black woman who literally got shot by a grown man. I’ve never seen a domestic dispute where people cancel a victim over a crime that is not only proven, but also completely logical considering his past. And people keep saying it’s the end of her career which sadly might be true cause we live in a backwards society but imagine being thrust into the spotlight right after you lose the only person you had and why you started rapping , your mom, and then being around a bunch of snakes and your sex life outed in front of the world to see for clout whilst in the midst of going to court for being attacked. And I’m sure it wasn’t a good feeling for her to know that she was gonna be locking up a man for a long time but she didn’t have no choice. If Meg didn’t press charges the state would have . She had no control over the outcome or even the investigation. Yeah she lied but I do believe she did out of fear because anything she did or said got back lash. I was even annoyed with her at points even tho I’m always gonna be on her side and the victims side. A recent phone call got leaked pretty much sealing the deal and I still see people refusing to give up their pride and still calling her a liar.
Imagine if your daughter got shot in the foot ? I lost my dad at 20 so I know Megan was extremly lost and just doing everything she was told to do bad influences or not. People don’t know that feeling of not being able to ask your parents for guidance or to just hold your parents for strength , you constantly just gotta think “ what would my mom or dad do” . She was hella young like 22 I believe. Until people have lost a parent they don’t understand how deep it can change you . Meg is a victim legally and figuratively but she’s been treated like a suspect this entire time.
Torey is a felon, torey has attacked people for not shaking his hand, he breaks gun charges , he fights in clubs, he’s very volitile , he is not a good person so why people defend him so heavy is lost upon me . Honestly I believe it’s just out of spite
He should have been deported long ago….you should not be allowed to commit all of these offenses and be able to stay here. You cannot behave like this in any other country and expect to stay there….. and his father can’t even raise his child right like You mean to tell me Tory’s daddy couldn’t rear his own son but wanna blame others for his failure as a father? Mane GTFOH!!!
This is the result of what happens when he had no one in his life to hold him accountable. He also fumbled every opportunity given to him. The shooting was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Now, he’s facing the consequences. And he deserves it.
He has no one to blame but himself if anything Dude's his own worst enemy🤬

Ngl quarantine radio did help his career tremendously
Someone should have reminded him about how one incident, one statement, one tweet or anything could spell the difference between career success or career destruction and give him Rosanne Barr as an example because the moment she posted that racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett it was the end of her career. Like Rosanne was canceled after the tenth season (before it was rebranded as the Connors) her career is now just conservative stand up comedy shows, and her character was killed off in the season premiere of the connors
In other words someone in his circle should have reminded him he’s restarting his career and people are rocking with him again like he had a quarantine radio and everything and the last thing he could think about is destroying it completely
Spoiler alert: he ended up destroying his career completely
Talk about a preventable and infuriating end.
If prior to quarantine radio his career was falling off after that incident he was definitely flatlined, as in not recovering, thriving or better yet “poppin” anymore
Get it because this collaboration happened too
remember the lyric from the song “shots fired “ when Megan said that Tory wasn’t “poppin he was on the remix “
this ⬇️ is what she meant by that

Kookie with Jack Harlow is gonna be interesting. The only Harlow songs I have on my main rap playlist are SUVS (Black on Black) and What's Poppin Remix. I realize the remix is now a 66% cancelled collab level (Tory Lanez, DaBaby, Lil Wayne). I gotta update my playlist 💀
So my take is that if Kookie wants to go to Harlow's level it could be fun. I can't really imagine what the collab will be like at this point, but I'd like it to be legit and have teeth, if that makes sense, and not feel like a cash grab collab.
Here's SUVs (Black on Black). This is very to my taste when it comes to rap. Kookie's collab will not be like this obvs but I just wonder in what direction they'll go.

Idk if I'm articulating this right, but Black people getting upset that other communities are unified in protecting their image is weird af.
Niggas went on and on about how the gay community and Jewish people canceled DaBaby and Kanye but didn't speak up for black women they attacked?? And acted like it wasn't fair?? But the truth of the matter is, if the black community itself actually gave a fuck about black women and didn't use us being harmed as entertainment in and out of the community we would have gotten both those people out of here a long time ago. Whites don't know who the fuck tory lanez is, it was niggas that boosted his career after he shot Megan. Whites only know DaBaby from a Dua Lipa feature. NIGGAS defended him when he shot a black man and punched a black woman. Whites in general probably know two rkelly songs..but it was niggas crying outside the courtroom. Like be for real.
And frankly, anytime someone does say something about black men in the community yall tell them to mind their business.
What I'm saying is idk why so many black people expect other groups to fight battles the black community doesn't even want to fight.

Mokenstef: The Voices Behind the TikTok Trend
The lanes of TikTok are far and wide for macro and microtrends to flourish. One of the many sounds that touched virality came from the underrated 90’s R&B girl group, Mokenstef. The trend used a sped-up sample of their hit single “He’s Mine” where users would show a compilation of screenshots and/or pictures of a sneaky link or their significant other. Despite the potential dangers of posting acts of infidelity with somebody else’s girlfriend or boyfriend, the trend was interesting nonetheless. Once again, the TikTok sound nostalgia took me down the rabbit hole to figure out whatever happened to this group. What was their origin story? When we think of the mainstream female 90’s R&B group, we think of Destiny’s Child, Xscape, SWV, or En Vogue, but why not Mokenstef? First and foremost, Mokenstef gets the utmost respect for their name, akin to Jodeci, the ladies used their first names to create the group name: Monifa Bethune, Kenya Hadley, Stefanie Sinclair. (For those who don’t know, Jodeci’s name is a combination of the names of their group members: DeVanté Swing, Mr. Dalvin, K-Ci, and JoJo.) To my surprise, these Los Angeles-raised ladies were dancers first. From taking auditions to become dancers in Michael Jackson’s “Remember the Time” music video to Fly Girls for In Living Color, dancing was their first love.
While doing shows with rapper AMG, Mokenstef met with the owner of Outburst Records, an independent West Coast-based label distributed under Def Jam Recordings, and then signed a record contract in 1994. Contrary to popular belief, the members of Mokenstef were college students. They hired an attorney (unfortunately not an entertainment attorney) and reviewed the contract line by line. Unfortunately, Stefanie shared in an interview from “Halftime Chat” that they potentially missed out on different perks of a regular contact because they were vocal and diligent about the offerings listed in their contract.
Now, let’s fast-forward to the beautiful melody “He’s Mine”. Mokenstef all collaboratively wrote the single from the perspective of a current girlfriend being confronted by a bitter ex-girlfriend. As young women having fun in the studio, they had no idea the implications of the song’s message to the mass audience would be seen as a “pass” to cheat because you may “got him all the time”. Even after discovering this song as a child, I always thought the message gave delusional vibes. However, once upon a time, I was in a very similar situation. After a third cup of mystery punch at a Friendsgiving party, I began sharing a story very loudly of an ex who kept trying to get my attention for months and went as far as to buy me DaBaby tickets to court me back (I was a huge DaBaby groupie at the time so that was the key to my heart). Unbeknownst to me, a friend of my ex’s current girlfriend was in the room. Fast forward 48 hours, we ended up on a three-way call and the lady could’ve just played this song and hung up because she definitely wasn’t leaving that man. Shawty even canceled the concert ticket, but the gag was the concert ended up getting canceled nonetheless due to DaBaby missing his flight and getting arrested thus after. But anyways, despite “He’s Mine” peaking at #7 on the US Billboard Hot 100, the song financially cost them significantly. Utilizing the label’s in-house production team, “He’s Mine” uses samples from “Be Alright” by Zapp and “Do Me, Baby” by Prince. So, in addition to sharing publishing with their label’s production team, they also had to cut a bigger check to Prince and Zapp. Their follow-up and quite underrated single, Sex in the Rain only peaked at #63 on the Billboard R&B Singles chart with their album release falling shortly after. Due to the now-defunct label failing to deliver to the group’s standards, Mokenstef requested to be released from Outburst Records. While the music industry changed with the decline of CD sales to the introduction of CD burning, the ladies of Mokenstef pivoted back to the regular workforce.
All in all, these college-educated women reviewed their contract line by line and were firm on the group’s expectations, and still fell victim to the downsides of the music business. Despite the lack of success of Mokenstef’s first and only released album, “He’s Mine” contains a message that has transcended time and is worthy of every note of recognition.

do you think anyone else was cancelled the way taylor was?/// A lot of people dude like half of hollywood was cancelled like Taylor- Dababy(deserved) Travis(deserved) Zoe, Kanye himself, Ariana Grande, and SO many of Taylors peers. The only reason why these people didn’t have full on headlines about it and didn’t seem like they were cancelled at a large scale was because they didn’t cancel themselves like Taylor did because she actually got affected(fair). Celebrities can only get cancelled if they cancel themselves lol.
“Celebrities can only get cancelled if they cancel themselves lol” -> this.

DaBaby Fell Off Stage & Lost $20,000 Diamond Ring During Las Vegas Performance – The Daniels Post – World
A woman in the crowd found the ring and got to come up on stage to return it to the performer while he sung to her. After being canceled due to his homophobic rant at Rolling Loud Miami earlier this year, DaBaby is making a triumphant return to the stage – sort of. Over the weekend, the “Babysitter” rapper was performing a show in Las Vegas when he wound up taking a tumble into the…

DaBaby Has A BOGO Offer For An Upcoming Show And Fans Are Clowning Him For It [Photos]
Walker
Tumblr media
DaBaby’s latest move in an attempt to have a sold-out ticket earned mixed reactions from the public instead.
via: Uproxx
Fans of DaBaby in Birmingham, AL have the opportunity to see him at a discounted price. The “Suge” rapper is set to perform at Iron City, a venue that holds 1,300 people. Those who buy tickets at the price of $22 will be able to get a second ticket free.
While it’s not unusual for an artist to sell tickets at discounted rates, whether it be by way of Groupon or BOGO specials, many are saying that the discount on these tickets is indicative of the once-promising superstar falling off.
“DaBaby selling his tickets BOGO has got to be the saddest sh*t ever for a rapper,” said one Twitter user. “And it’s crazy cause nobody else hurt his career more than he did. Talk about self-sabotage, a lack of situational awareness, and ego.”
It’s hard to pinpoint where the downfall of DaBaby began, but many believe that it has to do with him making homophobic remarks during Rolling Loud last year, as well as bringing Tory Lanez, who allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot back in 2020, onto the stage.
“Yall said canceling don’t work but DaBaby one step closer to performing at Autozone,” said another Twitter user.
The discounted concert is set to take place on November 15.
