BAABEL x Gn! READER
DACAPO x Gn! READER
SCHNEIDER x Gn! READER
(All separate)
Genre: Fluff
A/n: More Orion because ✨love them!✨ ALSO an order is being in the making so just just give me a few and I’ll try to get it out to you! Love you all!!
Tumblr media
You had what felt like the longest day ever. You were tired and ready to go see the person you loved most, Dacapo. He was a handful, but not to you. He was a true sweetheart and you loved him.
You got home before him so you decided to take a nap before he got home. Time slipped out of your grasp though, Dacapo got home and noticed you on the couch. He picked you up and rested with you on your shared bed.
Tumblr media
Today was not a good day for you. You were worn out and had a mini panic attack because you were so overwhelmed. You just wanted to go home to see Baabel and rest in his arms. You wanted today to go away.
Baabel was already home when you got there. He was watching something on tv when you got home and noticed you and your worn out self. He told you to come over and lay down, which you did. Your head was in his lap as you took what felt like the best rest of your life.
Tumblr media
Today was just…meh. You didn’t feel good about anything you did today, you didn’t feel good about yourself today and all you wanted to see was Schneider. You just wanted to collapse into his arms and rest.
About five minutes after you got home, he did. You were so happy to see him and just to have him hold you while you try to fall asleep. “Someone looks tired, come here…” Schneider had picked you up bridal style, “There you go. Let’s go get some rest.” You had the best sleep ever and hoped for something like this again.

My totes fun little immigration story:
-my mom left me and sister with my grandparents in mexico for a few years and they eventually handed us over to coyotes willy nilly. Like, those people legit could have taken the money and just dropped us off in the middle of nowhere but hooray they didn't
Tumblr media
-the coyotes made a grocery run (i remember halloween decorations being up?) and then took us to burger king and i still have the Oliver and company trash can toy from that. its actually what i used to determine the accurate year i was brought here lol (1996 btw)
-coyotes took us to their house (or somebody's house? idk ) and there was a birthday party going on. they sat us at a little table and gave us cake until mom got there
-ICE came to our fucking house in 2011 (i think???? could have been 2010 but the years are honestly starting to blend together now and im too lazy to dig up the paperwork rn) looking for my brother and the three of us that were there instead got processed, photoed, fingerprinted, the whole nine yards wooooo (i still have one of the agents' business cards)
Tumblr media
-we go to court and the judge administratively closes our case (idk what that means but what i know it *doesn't* mean is that we are safe. it just means we weren't a priority to chuck out of the states right then and there. istg i practically threw up before we walked into that courtroom)
-like a beacon of fucking hope, like a plot armor powerup in a shonen anime, DACA is created in 2012 and my sister and I can finally get real jobs and actually get our drivers licenses and CARS. I felt like a fucking person, able to start building an actual LIFE
the end, roll credits

Invisible Lives: Meet Canada’s Undocumented Kids
Without legal status, these young people must live in the shadows
“Kids deal with the decisions other people made,” she says. Those kids spend most of their childhoods in Canada, where they do their schooling, form relationships, and build career aspirations, like everybody else. “It’s just this piece of paper thing—that is the difference,” says Pole. This “piece of paper thing” shuts folks out of colleges, universities, and trade schools: those who are not citizens or permanent residents generally require a study permit and must pay international fees to attend post-secondary institutions, and provincial aid often isn’t an option. It’s also a barrier to more basic rights, like access to health care and secure housing.

HOUSTON (AP) — A federal judge ruled Friday that the current version of a federal policy that prevents the deportation of hundreds of thousands of immigrants brought to the U.S. as children can continue, at least temporarily.
U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen — who last year declared the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program illegal — said that the policy, which is set to proceed under new regulations at the end of the month, can continue with limitations that he previously set. Those limitations say there can be no new applicants for DACA and that those who are already in the program can continue to be in it and renew their applications.
During a court hearing Friday, Hanen ordered attorneys for the federal government to provide more information on the new rule and said he expects additional legal arguments related to it, but there was no timetable set for future hearings. It’s also unclear when Hanen will give his final decision on the case, which is expected to end up at the U.S. Supreme Court.

JinJiyanAzadi #BijiRojava Anarchism, Or The Revolutionary Movement Of The Twenty-first Century [UPDATES]
It is becoming increasingly clear that the age of revolutions is not over. It’s becoming equally clear that the global revolutionary movement in the twenty-first century, will be one that traces its origins less to the tradition of Marxism, or even of socialism narrowly defined, but of anarchism…

DACAPO x Gn! READER
Genre: Fluff
Summary: You and Dacapo get to have a few hours together napping without his brothers bugging him (for a bit)!
A/n: I’m sooooo sorry for not getting out any orders lately but I gotta get SOMETHING out for you guys! Love you all!
COLOR CODE!
Dacapo - yellow
Baabel - Blue
Schneider - Purple
You - Pink
Tumblr media
“Dacapo! Me and Baabel are gonna run some errands! It’ll only take us a couple of hours so we’ll be back soon!” Schneider hollered before closing the door to the front of the house, little did he know you and Dacapo were upstairs together.
“I’m tired.” You state out of the blue, looking at Dacapo with weary eyes. He looked at you and cupped your face with his hands, you noticed how soft they were, you softened into his touch.
Dacapo led you to his lap, he wrapped his arms around you and held you tight “Then rest, it’s been a long day. Plus, my brothers won’t be here to wake you up so it works in our favor.”
Dacapo was right, no one was there except for you two. It was like time stopped and nothing could get in the way of you guys. Dacapo laid down just to make you fall asleep quicker.
~ 2 hours later ~
“We’re back!” Baabel yelled as he went up stairs. He and Schneider were a bit confused because they didn’t anything for Dacapo, so they went into his room to see if he was there.
“I-is that…Y/n?”
“You bet that is,” Schneider went up to you and Dacapo, “didn’t know that he was dating them though.”
“Me neither, but we should probably let them rest. Dacapo’s been staying up a lot later recently.”
“Huh…why the hell are you guys here?” Dacapo woke up, confused af about why his two brothers were in his room. Baabel was on sitting on the edge of his bed while Schneider was next to Baabel, standing.
“..ughh…stop talking so loud..” Everyone in the room could tell that you were tired and just a little angy, you had a long day and you were ready to kill someone if they woke you up (in which they did BUT THAT’S BESIDE THE POINT)
“Sorry Y/n, we’ll leave you guys alone now.” Schneider said before leaving the room, Baabel following close behind him as he closed the door.
“You can rest now, no one will be in the way of your slumber anymore.”

"Şi cum ne-am abţinut de la dragoste
s-au înmulţit cuvintele,
cuvinte şi fraze, lungi şi ordonate.
Dacă am fi rămas împreună
ne-am fi transformat într-o enormă tăcere."

A federal judge on Wednesday declared illegal a revised version of a federal policy that prevents the deportation of hundreds of thousands of immigrants brought to the U.S. as children. U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen agreed with Texas and eight other states suing to stop the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program. The judge’s ruling was ultimately expected to be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, sending the program’s fate before the high court for a third time. Hanen barred the government from approving any new applications, but left the program intact for existing recipients during the expected appeals process. Hanen said his order does not require the federal government to take any actions against DACA recipients.
